đŸ”„FeistyđŸ”„2nd Period Between Devils & Blue Jackets

  1. Loved the fight (literally and figuratively) from our boys tonight! Hope they bring the same energy at home on Thursday against Detroit.

  2. Man how bad do your guys have to be at fighting for your commentators to just say “regardless of the outcome, it’s nice to see them standing up for each other” by the third fight lol

  3. Man, I know announcers are going to be
somewhat partial, but those guys are just making shit up.

Let’s jump on Voronkov for Dillon being injured, ignoring Dillon’s two cross checks aimed at Fantilli’s  head and also gloss over Dillon throwing the first punch at Voronkov with his gloves still on.

Then completely ignored the multiple slashes from Brown at Werenski that instigated the 2nd scuffle and also Brown’s slashes at Fantilli before his fight with Siegenthaler — all while blaming the CBJ for all of it.

Voronkov lets his guy up twice in his fight and then when he goes down, the Devil jumps on him. They even acknowledge Voronkov being decent about while ignoring the fact their guy wasn’t.

“Second time in a week that the Devils have been in a feisty one!”. Hm, maybe if your team keeps playing in ugly fight-ridden games, it’s a fucking “you” problem, guys. You know the CBJ aren’t out looking for a brawl with Olivier and Jenner out.

I’m glad to see that almost all of the YouTube comments were calling out their BS. Those guys are a fucking joke.

  4. Jesus I picked the wrong day to not watch the game…this was some good old fashioned hockey! I love that Voronkov and Fantilli basically channeled Olivier and went ham! 😂😂 It’s good to see this kind of grit from the team, I know that locker room after the game had to be electric.

  5. The devils and their announcers are softer than luxury toilet paper.

Maybe don’t start shit if you can’t even have dinner without sustaining a months long injury?

  6. You have to be nuts to tangle with Voronkov. That’s a big fella that shouldn’t be confused with a gentle giant.

  7. That second period was something. I applaud the team’s response being during that game, not waiting for the next game (or for Olivier to return).

Last year: Buffalo played New Jersey and had their main offensive players targeted by New Jersey. But Buffalo does not respond at all, no fight. Their coach calls them out. The next game, Buffalo faces off against the Jackets, and lookie here: they picked a fight with Olivier (who obviously won). But I hate that kind of bullshit — do something in the game vs. the team that is playing you dirty. Don’t wait till the next opponent to try to prove you’re “tough.”

  8. I can’t get over that was Ken Daneyko commentating. He played D when he was in the league. He should know better about the intricacies of NHL fighting lol

  9. Ooof this MSG feed is BAAAAD. I get being homer announcers but come on guys, you are twisting shit as hard as the Trump administration. lol. “he wasn’t ready”. Then don’t start shit maybe? As the old saying goes; “start shit, get hit.”

“what a joke” – for a game misconduct for not following the rules? No sir, you are the joke. That’s been a rule for years. The real joke was why where they going after Z in the first place? Guys one of the if not cleanest D men in the NHL. Hell, he just got his first penalty of 2025-26 season in this game.
