As Panthers fans I feel like we should all be getting ready to think about missing the playoffs. Not dooming, I still believe, but yall just get yourselves ready

  3. Under no circumstances can this team be allowed to miss the playoffs and risk giving chicago a top 3 pick in the most stacked draft class in a while

  4. We’re down 7 starters idk what everyone expects and our two best forwards 4 of our top 6. It’s a miracle we’re at 500.

  5. Being pessimistic is dooming.
    There’s a lot of hockey left to be played.
    A really hot team can fall off a cliff and a struggling team can get healthy.
    Just keep watching and hoping for the best.

  6. People are not giving enough credit for how well they’re actually doing given the extent of the injuries. Truly incredible. Not counting them out yet. They just need to make the playoffs and they have a chance.

  7. Perhaps because I haven’t followed NHL for long, but is it common to basically be .500 and be last in your conference? That just doesn’t happen in other sports. Like we’ve been mediocre which is expected when 2 of your best players are out, but to be last in the conference? That seems mind boggling

  8. People said they wouldn’t make the playoffs after the first Final trip. Last year people said they weren’t making the playoffs after struggling in the middle of the year. Maybe this is the year. Maybe it’s not. But until they’re officially listed as eliminated from the playoffs I’ll still believe they have a chance and to do something special once they get in.

    This is my first Panthers regular season so I’m new to this part, but even when we lose I’ve seen some amazing plays and scrappyness.

  11. It was matter of time when players are getting injured. 3 long seasons so it pretty much normal! Panthers will make comeback – people need to give credit these guys who are playing 500 hockey in this roster
