Seeing Other Teams Like New Orleans and the Clippers Got Me Like…

I’m just happy I’m not a wizards fan honestly
We could be the Clippers right now. We just got kinda lucky we at least got some picks and players back for our ‘Superstars’. I mean they traded everything for George and he left for nothing.
Marks didn’t do a great job with our superteam but at least he got us out of there pretty. Not being stuck with an aging roster without draft capital.
It’s just crazy how many teams are tanking this year (both intentionally and unintentionally).
I think the Nets have a good future however this draft goes, but I’ve never seen a year where the tank is this competitive.
At least Nets have a few wins.
Side note, won’t happen but hear me out, if CP is looking to finish out the year, I’d love to bring him to BK to be a mentor. We have three, maybe four playmakers if you count Wolf. He’d be a great mentor to them. Some feel that SGA wouldn’t be the player he is today had he not played with CP.
We have competent coaching, good culture despite loses and even a road to a future.
most tanking teams rarely have more than one of those.
Yep, I don’t think a lot of people understand how good we have it right now. Sure, we’re not in the best situation ever but we have way more upside than other teams. We drafted 5 rookies, two of which already look great (Egor Demin & Drake Powell), who knows what the other three will look like in the coming weeks and years. We have the potential to have a great pick in this next upcoming draft and we have even more draft picks over the coming years. We, unlike some other teams, still have room to possibly make moves throughout the next Free Agency. Also, we have a coach who seemingly is resonating with the players and has a sound basketball mind, even if his decisions sometimes frustrate us cause we just want to see the rooks all play together. In the end, there’s a recipe being made here that may lead to a better final product, at least compared to other teams. People just need to be patient and remind themselves that if you look over to teams in similar situations, the grass isn’t greener.
After our years of turmoil and headline grabbing news, yea it’s best for us to just quietly tank in the shadows.
It just annoys me that while the Nets have been designed to be bad this year other teams have managed to be worse…
We are in great shape and we have a clear direction with our rebuild, picks, and players
