Could the #Habs make a splash for a goalie? | DFO Rundown Insider Edition
I don’t have any direct confirmation from anybody within the team, but goalending is starting to be a bit of a big concern for the Montreal Canadians. They are second last in the league in goals against their guys, Montbo and Doesh. Their save percentages are not great. They’re 88 something. It’s not good. Uh which is which is surprising because Dobish had an amazing October. He was fantastic and then things just kind of totally fell off. Montembbo, they played him a little bit more than I think they should have and I but I also think it was a combination of just trying to get his game going for both their team and then the possibility of team Canada. I think he’s played himself off that roster. Um I think that’s Captain Obvious statement, but somebody on another team told me if the Canadians go out there and make a bit of a splash, they they wouldn’t be surprised if it’s goalending. Again, I haven’t had any confirmation from anybody within the team. There’s just some other teams that are that are talking. The Habs are going to be a team that’s a little, you know, they’re going to look at every option and every avenue. And one of the things that Kent Hughes and his staff have done a tremendous job at since they’ve come into Montreal is just being engaged in everything. They’re obviously not making every move, but they are doing they have done a fantastic job in figuring out who’s available, who might be available, and then what the price tag ranges are for some of those pieces.
