Washington Commanders vs Minnesota Vikings | Week 14 Game Preview
Who wants it more? Minnesota Vikings at home after their offense put on a Pepe Le Pew showing have lost four in a row now only have four wins, one more than the visitors in this one. The Washington Commanders who have lost seven straight games. So, I know fish live in them. Military members drive them. Sometimes two teams play in bowls named after them by the fans, but Washington showed no one is tanking here, man. I mean, they tried their best to snap that losing streak. Marota has it rejected by Bonito and Denver. Their two-point attempt to win it showing Dan Quinn doesn’t care about draft slot. His quest to be the first backwards hatwearing head coach to make a Super Bowl since TJ Deweiler in dire straits though as Washington finds itself in the seventh slot of the 2026 draft at this point. Take off. got it away for the touchdown for Sutton. Only four teams giving up more points than the Commanders this season. No team allowing more yards per play. Well, how about a faceoff with a Vikings offense that just went for minus seven points feels like the kind Nick Cage and Travolta had. The minus 7 coming off one of the four INTs Max Bromer threw in his NFL debut that was housed. up. Oh no, Ernest Jones house call. Nowhere to go but up, right? Well, thankfully they didn’t think that and make faceoff too. Bromer took four sacks on his 30 pass attempts. Making Max Bromer feel his presence the last couple possessions. Bromer the answer to Skull’s recent queries. Can it get worse than JJ McCarthy? Vikes are sitting in the 11 slot in the draft right now primarily because Carson Wentz has been their best looking quarterback. Their QBs have produced the lowest rate in the NFL in 2025. Kobe Bryant the interception all Seattle today. So McCarthy returning doesn’t guarantee a spike, but maybe Washington’s secondary can. They are giving up the second highest rating in the league. Only team giving up more than eight yards per pass attempt. And they gave up over 320 yards to Bo Nicks in that last loss. Time going to take a shot. He’s got an opening and it’s caught for the first down. But hey, they picked Nicks off, too. Held him to a low8s rate. So, they come in off a strong outing, relatively speaking. Only sacked him once, had 45 tries to get him, gave up 40 plus yards to four different guys. The most to tight end Evan Ingram at 79. Tight end TJ Hawinson, the only Viking with more than 40 yards versus Seattle, 59 to lead the team. Floats one for Hawinson. And the first big play in the pass game for the Vikings today. Bromer threw it. Jordan Addison the most, 10 targets, only 36 yards. Six targets to Justin Jefferson, two catches, four yards. He’s not having fun this year. Their run game produced a meager 66 yards. All of which wasted what was a nice defensive performance. Minnesota held Seattle to 19 points, left Sam Darnold feeling like he had the six cents again. held him to 128 yards, 26 pass attempts, under five yards per attempt, no TDs, a sub 70 rate, and held the league’s top receiver Jackson Smith and Jigba to 23 yards. His previous low was 79. From the Vikings and Harrison Smith this time continues the volleyball match. Sounds like they could face Jaden Daniels this week. Says he wants to get back out there if his elbow is good to go. If he doesn’t make it back, then back to Marcus Mariota, which isn’t a bad thing. Minnesota wishes they had someone like him. 294 yards, two passing touchdowns, 55 rush yards, too last week. He’s going backwards there. If he doesn’t do that last lunge, he does not get out of bounds. Mariota led the team in rushing. Only took two sacks versus the top pass rush in the game. Schemed to get a lot of passes out of his hand quickly, but his line held up well, too. Whoever goes gets a blitz happy Vikings front that racked up Darnold four times, his season high. Andrew Van Ginkle once, Dallas Turner, a pair has a sack and three straight. Darnold on second down. Sacked from behind by Dallas Turner. The ball is out. A scramble for Minnesota held every Seattle pass catcher under 40 yardds, not just Smith and Jigba. Yet another former Buckeye who’s made a name for himself in the bigs. Terry McLaren came back from injury and scored with 96 yards. Game decider. Mariota inside McLaren. Touchdown. Mcccluren led the team with 14 targets. Zack Z had 13. Caught 10 of them. I know there were a couple of drops, but season high 106 yds. Mariota lofting. Z got it. Zack Z 22 yd line. And Debo Samuel the third key pass catcher to their attack 64 yd. Mariota again shot downfield again Debo Samuel Trayon Burks pulled his OBJ impression only catch but it is worth the repeat viewing and that is a classic onehanded stop it 1513 Minnesota leads Washington all time five playoff meetings between them all between 1973 and 1992 their 1987 matchup for a chance to go to the Oh, this is the NFC Championship game. The Minnesota Vikings and the Washington Redskins. The Redskins who are finally finishing their roller coaster of a season. And today, one of these two teams takes the final step on the road to the Super Bowl. [Music] Sets up going deep over the middle. Got Kelvin Bryant with the 10, the five. Touchdown Washington Redskins. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Back is Williams looking right. Fires it into the end zone. Touchdown Washington Redskins. One down to the Super Bowl. [Music] Fourth down and four. Wilson takes the snap. Looking left, throws it into the end zone. Send it away. Incomplete. Redskins are going to the Super Bowl. Woohoo. It was perhaps the single biggest play of the Redskins season. [Music] [Music]

If JD finally returns this week, I think there's a chance the Commanders win this game
Gotta love a tank bowl
Washington wins 28-17
Really no point in Daniels returning this season
1987 NFC Championship rematch
Commanders will finish 4-13 like 2023… Vikings 30-23
Toilet Bowl alert!🚽 I guess I'll pick the Commanders to win this one. They showed the heart of a team that has nothing to lose, which could prove dangerous for their remaining schedule. Well except us of course, we ain't losing to this dumpster fire. Cowboysforever❤
Might as well put Carson Wentz in with his 17 different injuries!
Lol… neither these teams making the playoffs anyway. This preview is irrelevant.
Please don't put Max Brosmer back on the field as a starter
Commanders will win 20-17
McCember is inevitable 😈😈🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂a mfer can dream☠️☠️☠️
I want us to lose to help out tank, but Brosmer and the vikings are so bad we might actually win.
THE VIKINGS SHALL DINE ON HOG!!
People amaze me. Anyone that thought the Vikings was gonna win more than 7 games has got to out of their mind. The QB' will be just fine. There young and inexperienced. This is a learning year. Man this new generation. I guess this is what happens when your 50 years old and still living with your folks. Good Luck in the future.
Rooting for JJ. Yet, I think the Redskins will win.
Lmao so it’s basically who would win, a team that can’t score or a team that can’t prevent the opponent from scoring.
This Sunday will be the same outcome as the Williams led Championship game 🐽🐽
20-17 Minnesota
Commanders-20
Vikings-19
Whoever loses this game is eliminated from playoff contention
Stoppable force meets Movable object
Literally unwatchable and I'm a Vikings fan.
we will lose
Vikings 24 commanders 17
