Indianapolis Colts vs Jacksonville Jaguars | Week 14 Game Preview
Indianapolis Colts take to the road on a twogame losing streak have lost three of their last four games to fall out of first place in the AFC South. The team they’re visiting, the Jacksonville Jaguars taking that spot over after winning their third in a row. He’s like a a little baby kangaroo in his mother’s pouch, all protected in the pocket. Throws towards the end zone wide open. Strange touchdown. Jags are rolling, rolling, rolling right now playing the Colts in Duvall. Indie hasn’t won a game there since 2014. And Trevor Lawrence is coming off arguably his best game of the year, no interceptions, snapping a four-ame pick streak, two touchdowns, 229 yards for his first tripledigit rate game of the season. Lawrence endzone caught Meyers for the Jacksonville touchdown. And even when TAW has scuffled, it hasn’t kept Jacksonville from hanging solid digits on the scoreboard. They’ve scored 25 plus points, five straight games after dropping a quarter on the Titans. Ground game. Tooten, no signal. Now they say touchdown. Still plenty to clean up. Lawrence completed less than 60% of his passes. They were just three for 13 on third down. And Lawrence lost a receiver and lineman to injury. He got sacked three times. Lawrence pulls it back and Lawrence sacked. Lawrence has been dropped three plus times in six of his last eight games. He gets a top five pass rush next, too. Only four teams with more bags than the Colts in 2025. Rang up CJ Strad twice in their loss last week. Held him to a 75 rating. No touchdowns. Picked him off once. Held the Texans to 20 points. Held them to two for five in the red zone. Stout downfield too high. intercepted by Vinum. They’re holding teams under 21 points per game overall. Holding quarterbacks to an 85 rating. Did give up 276 yards to Straoud, 55 yds to Dalton Schultz, 65 to Jaden Higgins, 98 to Nico Collins. Now they square off with Jacobe Meyers, 90 yards in a TD versus Tennessee. Touchdowns back-to-back games. He’s made a real impact for them since coming over in that trade. Myers last week got his first touchdown catch of the season. He’s got another one here. Brian Thomas returned from injury just 28 yards. Parker Washington the receiver that left hurt after making a 26-yd grab. Brenton Strange the only other Jag with 40 plus yards. 45 and a TD for the tight end. Lawrence wide open is Strange. Strange trying to get out of bounds. Rush game only 70 rush yards in their latest win. Travis Etnen 28 yards 12 attempts. Colts held Houston to 3.2 a carry, held Woody Marks and Nick Chub under four per attempt. Their defense doing enough to win that game. Just need more from their offense. Still can claim to be the number one scoring O in the land, but by a thread now as they dropped under 30 a game after only putting up 16 versus Houston. Colts trying to convert. Jones can’t get out of there. Houston makes him pay. only three for 10 on third down. And it was against the number one scoring defense, but that’s back-to-back games. They haven’t put up 21 points. Jacksonville’s defense has held two of their last three opponents under seven points. Only gave up a field goal to Tennessee. Held Cam Ward to 141 yards on a minuscule 3.7 per attempt. Too far for a quarterback sneak. Ward throws incomplete. Held the Titans to two for 12 on third down. Only one red zone trip allowed. Holding teams to 21 a game. Plenty respectable. Now holding quarterbacks to an 85 rating. Top 10 good. They try and slow a beat up Daniel Jones next. But hey man, even with a fractured fibula. He put up a 100 rate against the top secondary in the game. Two touchdowns, no picks. More than a valiant effort. Jones wide open. A strike to Warren for the touchdown. Only took one sack on 27 pass attempts. Jags got to Ward three times. Still no Trayvon Walker, but Josh Hines Allen is still cooking. Has made it home three straight games, four of his last five. Jacksonville bringing four. Here he comes again. Hines Allen. He has been a monster. Jags secondary held all Titans pass catchers under 40 yards. Now on to Michael Pitman, only 13 yards versus the Texans, four targets. Josh DS, six targets, two catches, 44 yards. a 34 y. That was a real be Clark. Wow, what a catch from Downs. The concentration to haul in the pass. The athleticism to get both beat down. Tyler Warren, four targets, 22 yds. Alec Pierce led them with 78 yds and a score. Jones fakes the handoff, throws it downfield, complete to Pierce. Jonathan Taylor hold in 36 receiving yards plus 85 rush yards. He will throw it underneath to Taylor. Taylor’s got blockers. Taylor down the sideline and out of bounds. No longer leads the league in yards per carry after only managing a pedestrian four a carry versus Houston. Could retake the lead if Jacksonville doesn’t play the run better this week. Gave up six a run to Tony Pard. Only 10 carries though and only three teams have played backs tougher than they have this season. Indie up eight all time versus Jacksonville. They first got in the ring together in 1995. Pretty entertaining way to get things going too. Fine drive headed to Bailey. He’ll field at the six to the 10 15 20 25 the 40. He’s at the 50. Jacksonville 40 to the sideline to the 30. Still on his way to the 20, the 10, the five. Touchdown by Aaron Bailey. Outstanding special teams work was the order of the day. After Chris Gardaki’s booming punt resulted in Derwin Gay’s fumble recovery, Marshall Fox swept into the end zone with the aid of a block from Roosevelt Pots number 42. [Music] Craig Ericson, starting in place of injured Jim Harbaugh, threw for two scores in a win that gave Indianapolis an 8 and6 record. [Music] A playoff birth was now in sight.

I'm all here for the Dolts' downfall
The Jaguars have owned the Colts in Trevor Lawrence’s 7 games that he’s faced them
LFG DUUUVAL 🔥🔥🔥Jaguars 🐆
I'm picking the Jaguars to win this one, as Indy hasn't won in Jacksonville in 11 years. Also, if you shut down Johnathan Taylor, you have a good chance of beating this team, and that's something the Jags can very well achieve. No matter what though, this South race is looking a lot more fun than a month ago. Bengalsforever❤
If the Jags can stop Taylor we get the W go Duval
Duuuuuuuuvaaaaaaaal!!!!
Jaguars win this game 27-20
Whenver Colts and Jaguars play in Jacksonville, the Jaguars usually win. The Jaguars are playing better currently so Jaguars will win.
Lets go Jags!!!
Jaguars will win 24-17
JAGS 27- COLTS 24
The streak continues this weekend DUUUVAL baby!
ONLY MY DUUVAL FANS CAN LIKE 9-4🐆🐆🐆🐆🐆
Jags dropped 29 on the Texans in Houston, Colts only scored 16 at home.
Jags allowed 3 points to the Titans, Colts allowed 14 and 20 points in their games.
Colts-19
Jaguars-24
GO JAGUARS
I've been waiting all year for this game and it ever disappoints! DTWD!!!!
I hope I’m wrong, but this seems like one of the Colts best chances to break the curse in years.
We all know duuuuuval winning
All the Jags evidence of ability was against the Titans. Lawrence comes back to earth.Curse broken.
Streaks are meant to end. Don't take the colts for granted, they can definitely pull off a win especially if the Jags eff up which they have a tendency to do.
If the Jags can hold JT while causing pressure to D Dimes they win
Yes, the colts every time they come to Jacksonville, but there is a different Colts team. This is gonna be tough, but I believe in my Jaguar.
Does shook not know we're playing in Jacksonville?
28-10 jags.
I believe this will be a high scoring game
5:39 I swear thats some Jon Bois music
This season has seen a lot of streaks get snapped, so im pretty apprehensive about this match against the colts…
Regardless, this should be a good game given its two divisional rivals playing a very important game for 1st place
"Jaguars coming off their best performance yet." What they don't finish saying is that it was against the WORST team in the NFL. Jags better have their best performance then. 😂
Colts better win this game 27-20 🎮
The Colts physically cannot win in Duval. It’s just not possible.
As a fan The colts have got this one, we’re angry, Lawrence has no consistency, I know it’s in Jacksonville but weird things happen in division games, give me the colts 27-24
The Indianapolis Colts coming off their home loss against the Houston Texans🔵⚪️🐴
The Jacksonville Jaguars coming off their road win against the Tennessee Titans🟢⚪️⚫️🐆
This gon’ be good. Just happy my Jags are relevant again.
I'm a Colts fan, but Jags are gonna win this. Colts haven't won down there since 2014. This Colts collapse is just like the 2019 season. Colts were 5-2 and went to Pittsburgh in 2019 and lost. This season the Colts went to Pittsburgh and lost and they have now lost 3 out of 4. This collapse needs to be studied when the season is over.
Number 1 run defense in the league .
I originally told my brother the AFC South will probably be Jags-Texans-Colts-Titans and it seems to be shaping up just like that the colts started off with an easier schedule vs Jacksonville getting a lot of their more difficult games out of the way early in the season their division games besides the two Titans games might keep them from keeping the division 😅
The Colts have never defeated my Jags in my hometown in 11 years. That streak continues on Sunday, although Rain will be a massive factor in this game and let's hope every player has their gloves on all game long. If they don't, that ball will be slippery. Because of this, Jags win big by the score of 35-12.
Texans own both
Danny Dimes is 1-0 against the Jags in Jacksonville lifetime. He will go 2-0 after Sunday
Call it bias but I think the Colts will blow out the Jags. Not because I think the Jags are bad but I think the Colts are going to be focused and frustrated with the last two losses. Every loss they've had has been decided by 7 points or less and as for the Jag winning streak. This team broke the week 1 losing streak so I have a feeling this will be another one broken this season. It's not that the players on this roster haven't been playing with each other for long. They've grown as players with each other starting with BigQ since 2018 so I don't think this roaster will give up a 8-4 record that easy.
Duuvvvaaalllll !!!!! We locked in! And we coming for dat #1 spot!!!!💪🏾💨💨💨💨
