Cincinnati Bengals vs Buffalo Bills | Week 14 Game Preview

Cincinnati Bengals hit the road this week with an extra jump to their step. They’re not dead yet. They seem happy, ready to go for a walk with the old guy trying to avoid the cart. Like him, they proved last Thursday they’re not dead yet. Bar time. Deep shot for Chase. Got it. And a big gain of 43. And neither are the Bills. Buffalo at home at 8 and4 after pingponging back into the win column last week. Cook another nice move. He’s got a 100yd game and off he goes as James Cook is putting up a huge performance here for the Bills. Bills trying to regain consistency and finish strong. Two dud losses in their last four two wins where they look the part of serious contender. Plenty of incentive to just pound the rock again like they did versus Pittsburgh. 249 rush yards. Ran it 51 times. Josh Allen 38 rush yards and a touchdown. Allen. Allen. Allen being pushed and he’s driven across for the touchdown. 75 career rush touchdowns, most by a quarterback all time, now belongs to number 17. Ray Davis, nine carries, 62 yds, 6.9 per try. Davis rips off a good run. His longest rush of the season. And James Cook with 144 yards. Seventh 100yard game of the year. 115 plus back-to-back weeks. He’s got a huge opening here to start it. Buffalo the most rushing yards per game in the NFL. Cincinnati’s defense gave up six a carry to Dererick Henry. 5.1 yards per carry allowed for 2025. Only three teams giving up more to runners. Derrick Henry running left. Here’s Henry in the open field. Mike go only faced 10 Henry rush attempts, oddly enough, so only gave up 60 yards to him. 27 yards allowed to Lamar. 4.5 per still. Hudday faithful weren’t sure last week if they were suffering from a post turkey food coma. Am I hallucinating or did I just watch the Bengals play defense held Baltimore to 14 points. Only the third team they didn’t give up 26 or more points to all year. That ball got hit. That ball’s intercepted. It’s Demetrius Knight Jr. down the sideline. Bengals secondary didn’t give up any TD passes to Jackson. held him to a 65 rating, picked him off. Again, the pressure comes. Jackson in the middle, knocked down. It’s been a whole bunch of guys for the Bengals. A terrific defensive effort here tonight. It was like having Luke and Han in Stormtrooper suits. How are you guys doing your job when you normally don’t? Even their typically absent pass rush showed up. They were a team with fewer bags as a team than Miles Garrett has by himself. Only 15 QB takedowns this season. And then bam, three in one game. Joseph Osai with a pair and he lost the ball. Was caught out of the air. Joseph Osai hit him. Allen didn’t take a single sack on his 23 pass attempts. Only got hit once by TJ Watton company, but remains in a funk you can’t dance to as a passer. Sub 76 rating back-to-back games. Extended his INT streak to four straight games. Only threw for 123 yards. Allen pass. It is intercepted. Cook led the team with 33 receiving yards. Dawson Knox 28. Keon Coleman, the one TD he threw, only nine yards. Khalil Shakir 5 yardds, four targets. Good thing their defense showed up to party. Held Pittsburgh to seven points. Held Aaron Rogers to 117 yards, 5.6 per attempt. A 65 rating on 10 of 21 passing. Only one sack, but it was a Joey Bosa scoop and score kind of sack. So, it’s kind of like they come off a shut out. surrounded by Bosa and the ball comes out and Benford has it and the Bills have a scoop and scored to start the second half. They have been tough on most quarterbacks this season, have held five of the last six to fewer than 175 yards, held all Pittsburgh pass catchers under 50 yards, and now they get Mr. Burrow. It just wasn’t the same for a Bengals fan when they hear welcome to the jungle and it’s MC Jagger busting out on stage and not Axel. Mick is cool, but he’s old and the band needs swagger if it’s going to make it look so easy, if you will. Burrow sideline to Chase. Got it. First down. Joe Shy needed a couple of quarters to warm up his vocal cords in his return last week, but when he got him going, hit the right notes for two second half TDs. Threw for over 250 yards when he walked off stage. Burrow out to his right to the end zone. One hand brought in by Hudson for the touchdown. 32 points of offense versus a Baltimore defense that was pretty stingy with the points. Plenty impressive, but plenty to clean up, too. Their own defense set them up for more than 32 points. They only went one for six inside the red zone. Burrow scanning back of the end zone for Caseiki. Incomplete. Burrow didn’t have all his bandmates. T. Higgins was out hurt. He threw up Mitchell Tinsley nine times in his absence. Only two catches, 22 yards. loaded up on his slash. Jamar Chase doesn’t wear a top hat, but he caught seven of his 14 targets for 110 yards. Third and 10 for Burrow. Hands catch by Chase. He connected with Andre Yoshi Bosch for a 29yd touchdown. Tanner Hudson a 14yd TD. Mike Gasiki 19 yards and targeted Chase Brown seven times, 35 yards receiving. He’s pulled in six to eight receptions in three of his last four and has run for 75 plus yards over 5 yardds per carry in three straight games after hitting Baltimore with 78 yds on 52 a pop. He’s got the edge. Brown to the 30 yd line. Buffalo faced Jaylen Warren in their last win. Held him to 35 yardds on 10 attempts, but they are one of the teams allowing over five a carry to runners. So Brown could leave a dent. Buffalo Cincinnati tied up 17-7 all time after the Bengals beat the Bills six of their last eight meetings. They’ve met three times in the playoffs since he the victor in each, the first back in 1981. Charles Alexander’s touchdown run put the Bengals up by seven. And after the Bills tied it up in the final period, Cincinnati saddled up to take the lead for good. Motion and Anderson will go back to throw out the flat of Scott the 45 by Crater down the sideline to the 40 down to the 35 to 30 25 and all the way down to the 17 yd line. Big big play right here. Looking looking fires a field touchdown right down the middle of Collinsburg. The Bengals won their first playoff game ever, 28-21.

  1. Joe Burrow is back and the Bengals have their old mojo back also. The Bills better not take this one lightly, because they will lose out on winning the AFC East

  2. Cincinnati’s loses the playoffs are gone Buffalo loses the division is gone and playoffs are gonna be tough huge matchup. I think it’s just gonna come down to both defenses Buffalo needs to get to burrow and ou pressure on him and Cincinnati needs to force Allen into making mistakes because that’s how you beat Allen should be a great game I’m gonna say 34-31 Cincinnati

  3. I'm picking the Bengals to win this game and keep their AFC North hopes alive! I haven't been this optimistic since week 2, so I'm fully prepared to have my heart broken yet again. But Joe Burrow is the Bill's daddy, and we could be getting Tee Higgins back. If we could just play desperate defense like we did last week all season, we'd be Super Bowl contenders year in and year out. But unlike the last two years, a late season surge could result in a division crown. You with me Who Dey nation? Bengalsforever❤

  4. This one concerns me as a Bills fan, only because we’ve beaten good teams and lost to bad teams this year, and I really don’t know which of those the Bengals are at this moment

  5. Idk how much they will actually run the ball. With how bad the bengals tight end defense is expected kincaid and Knox to have a good day. Like 70 percent of Baltimores yards came from tightend.

  6. Glad Trey Hendrickson got a raise and everything guaranteed but one million. Be helpful the last several games. They might have pulled one or two out. I dont think hes gonna get some giant contract, when it looks like he quit on his team… sorry venting lol

  7. This Game should be a Good One i Know only One Person chose the Bengals to Win this but this will Very Likely be Close which can be seen by the Fact Almost All the Score Predictions are One Score. Personally, as a Bills Fan i feel like this Game is a Trap Game for the Bills which they've Struggled with this Year Plus the Bengals have Owned Them the Last Few Years So i think the Bengals will Win this Game 34-31.
