As much as I hate losing, I rather us go 4-13 and just get a new coaching staff next season. We don’t need to see another season of this.

    The team isn’t LOL bad to the point where they needed to fire him mid-season. If we played like the Titans or Giants then he would have already been gone.

    He’s probably not coming back, but if he did (please no) he would presumably have to have a scapegoat or two, which would be ST and OC.

    We just lost to an Aaron Glenn/Tyrod Taylor led Jets team that did a complete fire sale of their valuable players earlier this year. Raheem may have the greatest plot armor in the world right now.

  17. Haha so we would be closing our own window before it opens. While this team does have the talent to compete based on the current landscape of the NFL where there’s no clear cut number 1, our coaching has been a liability. While no new coach is a guarantee, you know what you have with the current regime. What more do you need to see? I was watching the Bengals the other night and I’m like Joe Burrow healthy on this team would be a force… Just longing for good QB play and coaching. 😔

  18. Nothing to gain from this outside of what we already know. Blank won’t fire RM during the season.

    If he’s back, it’s because he’s promised Blank some hot shot OC is coming to town, like a McDaniels maybe.

    RM doesn’t do enough for me coach wise to say we can’t be better if the coordinators are better.

    DQ sloganed his way to a NFC title thanks to Kyle Shanahan for the most part.

    Anything is possible with great coordinators.

  26. I’d be surprised if he’s back next year. But maybe more surprised if he’s fired before the season ends.

    Falcons have a made a habit of winning games when the season is already over. Would hate to see winning meaningless games have a big impact on the future of this team.
