He’s not really on the market. Milwaukee already said they will only open trade talks with the teams that Giannis wants to play for, and everything has been pointing to NYK for the last little while.
Maybe he would want to play for us, but I doubt it, especially now with Masai gone.

Barnes is looking good and Ingram is producing. Swap Giannis with Barnes and I can see Raptors coming out of an open east.

Imo: adding BI to our roster was what we needed. Last year, I would have wanted to argue that adding an older and mature star next to Scotty could be it. This year, if these fresh rumors turn out to be legit and Giannis is available, one of our two stars would be gone and our emergence of Gradey, RJ, Shead and IQ could be stunted yet again

Ingram + RJ + Dick or Walter + 5-6 FRPs…maybe you could get them to throw in Cole Anthony or someone for guard depth, but the trade isn’t out of the realm of possibility.
I think the Spurs, Lakers and Knicks and potentially Pistons will be in the mix.
Giannis will have a lot of say in where he lands…I thnk the Lakers actually have a good shot at landing him which is a scray….Austin Reaves + Dalton Knecht + Ayton and a handful of picks could get it done if that’s what Giannis wants.
We aren’t in that win now position yet where we should be going all in on a superstar
Plus when that time comes, I think a superstar guard would fit our roster better

RJ, Poeltl, 1 Bench piece and 4-6 FRP. Poeltl can be traded in Jan. Most of the bucks can’t be traded till mid dec anyway. Bucks can’t demand Scottie they have no leverage. We start sandro when needed and look for a FA backup C.
Realistically though, do we even have the cash + players to trade that’ll still keep our rotation solid? It’s looking like most of our star players for him at the very least
