Seeing tatis at the ballpark will never get old for me because it makes me think about all the kids who dream of seeing him play in person
Fernando is such a boon for Padres “soft power” in Latin America
We’ve been on 3 baseball tours, working our way to 30– as Padre fans we noticed how many kids love Fernando. Whichever city we visited, when we happened to be there to see the Padres, many kids wore #23 jerseys when the parents wore the home colors. Just an observation.
