HOW MANY People Watched Cowboys vs Chiefs on Thanksgiving Day?!?!? | The Rich Eisen Show

this just in the NFL’s popular. Uh so are the Chiefs and so are the Cowboys. Now we did a what’s more likely uh on Wednesday, one week ago. Uh just a what’s more likely for the Thanksgiving games. And your what’s more likely was what’s going to be the higher total total points between the Cowboys and Chiefs. Yep. Or the ratings in millions. Yeah. In millions. Yes. And cuz going into the season, we had Mike North, uh, who is the executive in charge of scheduling. He has a fancier title, I’m sure. Um, he said because the AFC North is playing the NFC North this year. He’s the vice president of broadcast planning and scheduling. Thank you. Very good. And I think he’s also the executive vice president of man buns of the NFL as well. What’s up, Mike? Hey, listen. There’s not many guys walking around the NFL offices with a man bun. Um, nobody has hair here. No, they’re here either. None of us have hair. I certainly don’t look at us, right, Chris? Or you too, J. All right. I have the capabilities. We digress. But Mike came on and said because there’s so many compelling matchups based on how good these teams are and how it’s all working out with one division playing another division. We’re able to we’re able to have tons of filetmenan to place on plates that ordinarily we don’t place them on because we need to have a matchup to be boosted by the beachfront property like say the middle game of Thanksgiving and because they they could open the season because of that they were able to open the season with the Eagles Cowboys. Yeah. Right. and then have Chiefs Cowboys on Thanksgiving. And Mike said at the time that could set a record. Well, guess what? It did. And what’s more likely? 59 total points between the Cowboys and the Chiefs. 3128. And America in millions missed it by that much. What was the number? So close. 57 million and change is the grand total number. Insane number. That’s what happens when you put the varsity in a prominent this guy schedule placement. Excuse me, sir. Every year the middle game of Thanksgiving is is it crushes where we usually well which is what the Dallas Cowboys usually are. Then you place the Chiefs at six and five and the Cowboys playing well and the game was tight. 57.23 Two, three million viewers watched everything. That is awesome. Including George scrape his pickings on top of McDuffy in this photograph right here. My goodness. Almost having the play of the year right there. That is one of the coolest photos I’ve seen. Wait a second. Is that what Andy Reed meant about like No. Oh goodness. What a number this is. And the thing is you said 50 million, right? It was almost It was And you were underestimated. I did indeed. Which is crazy cuz people in the comments are like 50. There’s no way. Well, laughing. Laughing. Well, they ain’t laughing now. Richard, look at this. That’s a heck of a number. And um cuz the total for the game was 52 and a half. Obviously, the over hit and I’m like, “Oh, that’s pretty good. Decent. Does it get to 50?” You know, both teams, you know, could could play some defense. Nope. They both crushed it. Um Hans Schroeder, the executive vice president and chief operating officer of the National Football League and NFL media will be on Thursday’s show to talk about this. Uh because he asked and my contracts up. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. No, we’re it’s a it’s a big story. You know the other thing, Rich? It’s like it’s like the Howard Stern thing. The fans of both teams watched, but then how much was this hate watch? Sure. The people they hate the Cowboys hate the Chiefs. Thanksgiving. Why would there be a hate watch? Cuz you know people have you been to a Thanksgiving where do you understand hate watch but you know you it’s the exact opposite. You would like to think that it it’s but listen man it is amazing and this weekend slate you know is incredible. 14 ban and that’s with the niners and Pats on by. That’s right. Great games. Hey you made it all the way to the end. Thanks for that. Check us out every single day streaming live on Disney Plus and the ESPN app 12 to 3 Eastern.

  1. I don't think it is hate watch or something to watch on TV. I have met so many new chief fans because of i guess who they are. Then the cowboys are the cowboys. Like any videos online.. how do they have that many views. Im 29 and watch sports and listen to music.
