I think we’ve reached the point with Cam where it’s worth the conversation. I think most of us can agree that we’re severely disappointed in what we’ve got in Ward compared to what was expected of him. Rosen who was #10 overall I believe fetched a 2nd rounder the year after draft, so if we could get back a first rounder and start over at QB is that really such a crazy deal to take?

Cam ain’t Josh Rosen besides this team is diabolically bad. Especially ain’t fair to Cam when everyone knows our only offense is through Cams arm or legs.
I’d like to see him with a actual run game, and better coaching before calling him a bust.

This is one of, if not, the worst Titans coaching staff I have seen in my 27 years of being a Titans fan. It makes Wisenhunt look half ass decent. Not to mention this organization thought it was a good idea to draft a QB number 1 overall, WITH NO WEAPONS AROUND HIM AT ALL. No talent. Zero. Trial by fire. Outside of Chim and Big Jeff, who else is having a good season? Exactly. I’m going to keep it a buck. We ass. Not to mention he has played a lot of good defenses this year with no one doing him any favors. Did Cam play well on Sunday? Hell no. But he is far and away from the worst problem with this team. Edit: Cedric Gray is also having a pretty good season too. But you get my point.
Best thing to do is not engage it. It’s not rational or human.
Regular journalist outside of Nashville have NO clue about the Titans.
Analyst that actually watch film and pay attention have actively been saying the opposite most of the season.

There are no guarantees of success for any player. Cam will get next year to show how his game is progressing. I’m sure he will show improvement.

Even if he doesn’t pan out. I dont think we can keep plugging rookies into a shit lineup. Have good drafts, get some good FAs then Cam either works out or you have a team ready to plug in another QB for.

Titans could well end up with 10 or more draft picks next year, depending on how they play their anticipated # 1 pick. Hopefully they’ve learned something with how the Fem pick turned out. A 2nd round pick is too valuable to play around with.
To be fair, anyone convinced that cam is 100% the answer going forward is on some good stuff. Granted he’s not thrown many interceptions, but he holds the ball far too long and is regularly sacked. Sure, you can blame the O line, but it’s also the responsibility of the qb to know when to get rid of the football.

A QB is important but so is the rest of the team. Writing an article about replacing the QB is simple. Talking about the coaching staff or other positions is difficult because rarely do people see these.
I mean anytime you watch a game on TV they NEVER show the entire field. They focus on the QB. It gives the impression that the QB is responsible for everything on the field. This was true like half a century ago when the QBs also called plays. Rarely do they do that today.

I think Cam is going to have to fight Levis for the spot next year, but he’s worth developing. It is a lot of garbage time padded stats, so it’s hard to tell what is ‘working’ without watching the game.
