Personally, I was surprised to learn that Nolan Ryan had only been ejected once. He was ejected shortly after what appeared to be him intentionally hitting Willie Wilson of the Oakland Athletics. I often thought of Ryan as an explosive player, with a short temper, but I was surprised after learning this.

This was my first MLB game to attend. I was 7 years old, and didn’t really know what was going on. I do remember trash being thrown onto the field from all the way around the stadium, soon after the ejection.
Fun Fact: Nolan Ryan ate raw beef and drank Jack before every start.
