HARD KNOCKS JUST EXPOSED THE TRUTH ABOUT THE WASHINGTON COMMANDERS…

So yesterday, the Washington Commanders along with the rest of the NFC East premiered on NFL’s in season hard knocks and it exposed everything that I already knew about the Washington Commanders and it makes me feel happy. Let’s talk about it. Shout out to Juan Gotti talking sports. You know what it is. Shout out Watti token sports. The way that we live is not for everybody. Nah, that ain’t it y’all. How do you think the rest of Jay Daniel’s career is going to go? If we’re what, six, seven games into Jane Daniel’s career and he’s already milking injuries like I sign my name. They grind back. She bring it back slow. My love. I love the way she moving, moving, shaking. She is a winner. You can tell that again. So, what’s up y’all? It’s your man Juan Gotti here. And yesterday the Washington Commanders along with the rest of the NFC East was on NFL’s in season hard knocks. If you don’t know what that is, that is basically uh a a show in which uh HBO crew go follow, you know, the four teams in the division. Washington Commanders, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, and Dallas Cowboys. Give behind the scenes look. And I always feel like a inseason version is much more better than offseason because it’s like in season it’s like bro this this just happened and we already get to see it the following week. So it’s pretty cool uh that we actually was on it. But now like that it it has happened and we actually got to see behind the scenes of this team. Man, it really just confirmed to me what I which I already knew, but this confirmed to me more so than everything is this season has just been so bad and unlucky and unfortunate. And if you if you had any question about Dan Quinn, about this team, are they bored in the DQ? Is he starting to lose the locker room? First of all, shame on you. I tried to tell you months ago when the season technically was not over. I said the only person that I feel bad for somewhat is Dan Quinn because I get a feeling that he’s actually trying. He’s actually out there coaching his tail off, pulling all the strings and they’re just not falling his way. You can just tell how he carries himself, how he is in the press conferences. I said it. It’s not like Ron River where you can clearly see the locker room was divided. You can clearly see he was in and over his head. You know, he seen a wipe writing on the wall of him being fired. Like, it’s such a night and day difference between Dan Quinn and Ron River, especially during a losing time like this. And again, if you guys had any questions about if Dan Quinn is losing the locker room or if they stop believing in him or if he’s not the right man for the job, go watch Hard Knocks because that is going to give you all the questions that you needed to know. And I did not need to see Hard Knocks or the little clips about Hard Knocks and the Washington Mand to to know this. I already felt this. I already had a feeling that this is just what it is. And I hope we’re to the point now that we’ve seen this and now that it’s December and now that the season is pretty much done. We’re playing really for for for for fun at this point. Not really nothing meaningful. I hope we understand that this season is not a a inkling or a a a a uh checkpoint or whatever you want to say of who this team is. It’s not a vision of who this team is or who Dan Quinn wants this team to be. this is just an unfortunate unlucky year. It happens. You know what I mean? So, I hope this serves to you as a as a comforting thing for you, like knowing, man, Dan Quinn is the guy that, you know, we got the quarterback that we that we need of the future. We got still got all these pieces. They’re trying. Um, and we’re close. And that and that’s how I felt. You know what I mean? And I don’t mean to continue to bark down the the, you know, the same tree and talk about injuries cuz we’ve we’ve heard about it time and time again this year, but it’s just true. Like this injury bug has ruined our season. We did not have a shot this year. We didn’t have a shot this year. And Dan Quinn, after the Broncos lost on hard knocks, he talked to the locker room. said we lost. Yeah, you can’t change that and that sucks. But we found who we were. You know what I mean? We we found what who we were and we know who we are. And and and that was my feeling and that was 99% of the fan base’s feeling after Sunday when we went live for the post game. A lot of you all was like, “Man, that game was fun.” Yeah, it sucks we lost, but we haven’t been able to enjoy a game like that all year long. That game felt like a 2024 Washington Commanders game, did it not down to the wire, score after score, defense actually finding ways to get stops. Late season heroics, or excuse me, should I say late game heroics, penalty flags, game being over. Oh, no it’s not. Ta Noa ran over J um Jmack go down to score. You know what I mean? Overtime having to match Denver score cuz they owe they open they they first drive offensively they score. You know what I mean? That that felt like who we were. And I know to the core of this team that’s who we are. That’s who we are. You can’t sit up here with a straight face and tell me you genuinely think with a healthy team this team is three and n with a healthy team this team was a fluke of last year. Like I I saw a lot of that and I get it. It’s in the moment of these losses. So you guys feel that way and and we and we’re fans. We have rights to feel in the moment, you know, feelings because of we’re losing. But again, uh, when you take a step back and actually reflect on this team, there’s there’s no luck in making it to the NFC Championship. There’s no fluke in making the NFC Championship. Dan Quinn isn’t just trash all of a sudden as a coach. These players aren’t just bad as a as players. We’re just It’s just an unfortunate season. That’s what you have to just chalk it up as. So, for the people that want to tank, people that want to get the highest draft pick possible, I’m all for it. But at the end of the day, if they win the rest of these games, I’m going to be damn excited. I’m going be damn excited because we’re not taking for a quarterback. So, we we already have the most prestige position figured out. So whether we’re picking top five, top six, top eight, or we’re picking 15, 16, 20, I’m fine with either one. And not 20 anymore because clearly not 20, but like middle of the pack, 14, 15, cuz 20, you got to actually be in the playoffs, you know, or on on the verge. We’re not that. So, wherever wherever we pick, I I’m I’m fine with because for everyone that wants to see what what what what Adam Peters truly is, that’s why I say you should actually want to win these games, you know what I’m saying? If you if you’re a person, and I’m not one of them, but if you’re a person that questions Adam Peters and don’t believe in his philosophy or say he he doesn’t know how to really be a good GM, he can’t draft. Look at his draft picks. You probably shouldn’t want him have to having to draft in the the middle of the pack because if he has to draft top five, top six, top seven, top eight, that’s easy, quote unquote. So I I’m I’m really happy that we were on Hard Knocks. Would I have wished for it to be better cuz we were actually involved? Yes. In terms of playoff, yes, it would have made it for must see TV. It still is musty TV, don’t get me wrong, but man, it would have been musty TV had we been in the playoffs right now in playoff race for this division. It would have been lit. But even in a down season, this team is still lit. Like, let’s talk about the fact that Pritchard got a head coaching job at Stanford and the energy in the meeting room is just amazing. Everyone is happy. You wouldn’t be able to tell that this team is three and nine. You know what I mean? These players are showing up day and day in day at the office, day after day at the office trying. And as a fan of a team that is so used to losing, that’s all I could ask for is effort. It’s been so many years in which we questioned the effort because we vividly can see that it wasn’t there. But I don’t get that same vibe from this from this regime, from this team. And I love that. Dan Quinn was so fired up when when uh Jeremy Reeves announced Tvita Pritchard to be the head coach at Stanford. You know what I mean? So again, what was your takeaways? Those were like my two takeaways, but really it wasn’t nothing that surprised me. I already had that feeling. I already could just tell. Yeah, y’all. It’s just one of them seasons like we ain’t trash. I fully expect to be back in the mix next year. I fully expect to compete for the division next year. The injury reaper just got us. It was just one of them seasons. That’s that’s what I’m chalking it up as. And I hope you are too. I hope you aren’t, oh, this team trash. We’re so far away. We’re this. We’re that. We’re We’re not going to be good. I hope. Dang, Quinn needs to be fired. I hope it’s not that for you. Maybe if it was a month or two ago. Okay. But after seeing that team fight on Sunday, after watching Hard Knocks and actually getting the inside look, something that we don’t usually get to see, when do we ever be on Hard Knocks? We’re never on Knox unless it’s D’Angelo Hall getting his ankle or torn Achilles by by by uh Prime DeHawk. Other than that, we’re never the center of attention. And we are along with the three other teams in the division. But next thing I want to talk about is how how about Terry McLuren? How about Terry McL? A lot of people questioned Terry. A lot of people was upset with Terry McLuren. Oh, he’s holding out. Oh, he he did all that crime for that money and now he wants to play hurt. He I told you we shouldn’t have paid him one. I told you he wasn’t worth it. First game back, he reminded y’all why he was worth every single penny. Shame on some of y’all that turned job back on 17. First game back in ages. He has to go up against the best quarterback in football. Worked them. I don’t care what Denver fans try to say. Oh, only three passes was caught on Patrick Certain out of eight out of eight targets. Statistically, that’s what it shows you. But the eye test says different. They don’t have on their very first drive of the game Patrick Certan get called for illegal contact because Turig Glo smoked him and had a walk-in touchdown had had uh he not made the legal contact on there. It doesn’t show those passes that were too tall for Terry McGloin. And had it been in the wheelhouse of him, I I guarantee you he would have caught or I would have loved to see how that outcome would have would have happened. Now, of course, PS2, best corner in the game, one of the best corners in the game at least. He had his fair share of moments. But 96 yards, almost 100 yards for a touchdown. Should have had three if we’re being completely honest, because he he finally got one. The one before that that he actually got, he got he got c he got held. And obviously I’m talking about the other one early in the game. So he back and I hope he reminded you all that he’s that dude cuz I never waver. I love 17. I go to bat for him any day of the week because I know he’s that dude and I’m glad he’s back. And I don’t know if we get five back this week or not, but I can’t wait to see what five Debo and Terry looks like together. And last but not least, uh the game versus Philly is now going to be prime time. We have been moved, the week 16 matchup has been moved to prime time, and I love it. Let’s play spoiler. Let’s send one of them home. Phillies looking like they’re the more vulnerable team at this point. We’ll see how they look. Maybe they get their stuff together by week 16 and it’ll be and they’ll be back to being who they were early in the year, but it’s not headed that way. And week 16 could be for the division for Dallas and Philly. And we could very well play spoiler. You know what I mean? Why not? Let’s do it. I don’t want to lose that game. If you told me one you finished six and 10, six and 11, but you finished your three wins came against Dallas Philly twice or should I say five and 12 because or no no should I say seven and 10 because at that point I I want to sweep Giants. We already got one. We got one more Giants on set four. We haven’t played D. Okay, we did play Dallas already. We got to play Dallas one more time. So that’d be five. And then yeah, Philly twice because we ain’t played Philly yet. So if you tell me we finished seven and 10, seven and 10, six and 11, and you finish strong beating your me and your division foes, hey, I know all y’all want top draft picks, but hey, I’d rather be Philly, Dallas, and New York cuz we already got our guy. Had we not had a quarterback, I’d be all for the tankathon, but we man, we don’t need a quarterback. We already got the most important position.
