Cinematic Recap: Completed the Comeback | Cowboys vs Eagles

[Music] My name is Nate. I’m an athletic trainer for the Cowboys. And I’m a cleat designer as well, as you can see. And I’ve been here for a year now. And this is my first year doing cleats. So trying to figure out how to do both at the same time. But I think it’s it’s definitely worth it. It’s a good time. I enjoy it a lot. one of my passions that I found, you know, outside of athletic training and they kind of go hand in hand. So, that’s pretty good for me. I always thought that custom cleats were super cool. So, I decided I was like, you know, let me just see if I can do this. So, I watched a ton of YouTube videos and then one weekend I just bought some stuff and said, I’m going to do it. So, I made a pair for myself first. I really enjoyed it. So, I started telling some of my rehab guys. I was like, “Hey, you know, like I started doing this.” They were the first ones that kind of said like, “Oh, do a fair for me.” And, you know, if they’re good, I’ll wear them to games or practice or whatever. And then after that, it kind of just took off. And then Dak started wearing them and coming to me every week. And that was kind of the big like the big intro of everybody, you know, sees Dak cleat, so they want to pair and they want to do this and that. If it wasn’t for them and the the first few people that I made cleat for, I definitely wouldn’t be in this position. I draw a lot of my inspiration from other cleat designers and other shoes that are kind of out right now. So like Dax X-ray pair that I did, it’s modeled off a Kobe 5 X-ray. But it really it always just comes down to the guys. If they have an idea and they want to do it, I’ll do it. But if they don’t have an idea, I’m going to come up with something pretty good for them to wear. This is for Turp. So, it’s the Autism Speeds Foundation. So, that was something that was, you know, personal for him. And I’m I’m thankful that he came to me to have me do them for him because, you know, Turp is Turpp is one of those guys that I talked about where, you know, I spend a good amount of time with him and to be able to, you know, have him kind of ask me to do it. It’s it’s special with these pairs probably more so than just the regular, you know, game pairs that they wear. These ones, they all have special meanings. you know, this one for Turp and his family. It’s good causes and it makes it so I want to, you know, do an even better job for them cuz this is something that’s important to them and something that that matters, not for them, but for, you know, for the foundations and for everybody that’s affected by the things that they’re actually trying to support with these. So, that’s why I really like doing this and this, you know, the my cause mic beats. I think it’s a really good initiative [Music] learning about everybody’s causes and you know a lot of it is like people’s families and things that have like affected them personally. So that’s that’s very special to be able to do something like this. And I never thought that that’s this is kind of where the whole cleat thing was headed when I started doing this. I thought it was going to be, you know, just for fun and maybe do a couple pairs and call it good. But to be involved with something like this is really really special, really awesome. [Music] Originally when me and Marshon talked about it, he didn’t have a cause in mind and uh I gave him a couple days and he texted me and said, you know, I want to do mental health. So I asked him if he had a foundation. He didn’t have one. So we we talked with our community relations people and we came up with NMI Texas. So he wanted to go more for the design, less for the foundation, you know, cuz he’s going to go to them anyway. And you know he said mental health I was like do you want me to you know put any dates put any memory anything like that and he said no just just do what you do. So actually I finished them the day before he passed showed him the morning of. So the fact that we you know have them and are going to honor him in this way it’s it it means a lot to me for sure. [Music] I’m glad that we could honor him. Very go. [Music] [Music] George, with three games in 12 days span, how do you stay ready for that? And then when you physically Three games in 12 days, have you had something like that? Obviously, you got three games in 12 days, but what you have up in the next 12 days. Do you feel these next three games could really be defining this team season knowing the three games you guys have coming up in general, the opponents? Yeah, they will be defining. [Music] When you look at the schedule, the next three are gauntlets, right? They have the Philadelphia Eagles, then I believe they have the Kansas City Chiefs, then they travel to Detroit. If they were to just win one of those two, I think they have an outside chance to get it. If they win two of those three, they’re getting into the playoffs. Yeah. Starting with this one, you know, we’re playing, you know, a really good football team in Philly, defending champs. And, you know, we look forward to this matchup and then play another team, a team that was matched up against them in February. I’m pretty sure every team has a stretch where they got to play three games in 10 days or four games in 17. We at AT&T. Pull up. UK if you want a C3. Y’all get ready for the show. Again, we’ll find out a lot about ourselves. But I’m the I’m the guy that wants to play the good teams. You know, I want to play the good teams and find out where we truly are. We’ll know a little bit more in the next whatever it is, 12 days, 11 days, kind of where we stack up uh in the league. And uh I think we’ll answer that question in a uh in a very positive way. [Music] Yeah. Prescott fourman rush looking floats one incomplete. It would have been a diving effort from Travante Williams, but Nico Dean said not this time and the Eagles will take over. [Music] AJ Brown touchdown Eagles. That’s an easy pitch and catch there from Herz to AJ Brown. [Music] Third six, the fourman rush. Prescott stepping into it, going deep, looking for CD Lamb over the wrong shoulder. A little miscommunication there. Lamb went left, throw went right, and a punting situation now for the Cowboys. [Music] designer run. Up the middle he goes. Jaylen Herz still going. He’s in. Touchdown. Jaylen Herz has a lot of rushing touchdowns, but this was not the push. This game came on a straight quarterback drive. And that solid execution. They just can’t afford many more mistakes. Again, see if you can get a little momentum going your way. Oh, after he lost the ball that is on the floor and is picked up by this time the Eagles will have the recovery. So this is the absolute guaranteed recipe for how to lose the game half forward. He’s in. Touchdown. It’s like the San Francisco NFC Championship game, right? They’re down 21 nothing. I always say they didn’t lose that game. They just ran out of time. They could have kept playing overtake. Well, they they can’t score 21 points on this drive, so just have a good drive. Look traffic [Applause] in the end zone. [Music] [Applause] And this is the bottom line. The Eagles, this is how they win. They win the turnover better than better than anyone. [Music] Cowboys send four. Stunts picked up. Hearts thinking deep. Throwing deep is knocked away for Devonte Smith, but Bell was there. So is Don Wilson. And the Cowboys should get it back here. for the home team. Cowboys looking to get back in it. See what they got. Prescott pressure right in his face. Steps away. Good play. Oh, good move. Kavante Turin. Look at the speed. Turban all the way inside the 25. That was a lightning bolt to Cavante Turban and they needed it. Wow. What a spark. And that’s the juice they need. when he gets an open space and where he’s most danger looking to throw touchdown pickings Cowboys needed that. So the Cowboys just sloppy. They showed some flashes. They got on the board just for the half. How do they really get back into this game though, TB? Well, it starts on their defense. their defense is mother and they just no more of those kind of self-inflicted wounds on defense either the offside that killed them on that second scoring drive for the C for the Phillies offense. They’re just can’t get multiple opportunities that third down. This is a tough offense to stop anyway again. It’s only 14 points. Third down rush out of the field slips and Smith fell to the ground and it’s incomplete flag. Third down. Pres the catch. Multiple flags. So let’s see what the goal is today. First on the year, first in goal, Dallas. Prescott roll looking caught. Touchdown span forward. Elliot gets into it. It is no good. He pushed it right and it stays a one-sore game. Prescott has some time. Loading up going deep. He’s gone. Oh, come on. Is he going to get there? Gets a block. He’s in. Touchdown. Flips to Barkley. Nice little play. Barkley lost the ball. It’s loose. Cowboys recover. Sam Williams knocked it out and Kenneth Murray takes it home. Fashes it at the one. He gets a good block and Gibson. Oh, he doubles it. It’s loose. Cowboys recovered it. Trent C, I think, got it. He’s the long snapper and he holds it in. Look at the emotion here. Marshon Nan, that’s how it started by bringing the knee’s flag out. Cowboys were 21 down trying to pull off the comeback all the way from 42 and the win up and he’s got it. The Cowboys win and maybe Ne looking down from above. [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] Listen up. Hey, we got a lot to celebrate, but I got a question first. Can you win the game in the first quarter? No. Can you win the game in the second quarter? No. Did we spot him 21 points? But what about Hey, hey, can you win the game of third quarter? What about that? Hey, hey, hey. We’re starting with the takeaways today. Sam Williams forced a fumble. Kevin Murray covered it. Elijah Clark forced a fumble. Yeah. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Yes. Is that Trent? Yes, sir. Covered it. Dak Press got through past George Pig. Dress got through past the breakfast by Thor and the old man ran one in. But this dude sack and then Hey, nothing like walking him off with Brandon Aubrey Big. Everything we’ve talked about, everything you guys have done. You stack these days, you stack these wins, you learn because they build championship habits. I am soing proud of the men in this room. Hey, hey, hey. We get to do it again in four days. [Music]

  1. I have to admit I got emotional watching this. True Cowboys fans know the pain we've felt since 1995. 30 years of absolute failure. But now, that exact same feeling from 1992 is back. That feeling of FINALLY!!! It's HAPPENING! It's about damn time, too.

  2. That game was historic! Sadly enough, the one thing that made me madd about that game…we got 2 fumble recoveries and didnt score points on either one. That took the wind out of my sails but Aubrey sealed the deal for us. That game should have been 35 unanswered points TBH. But I’ll take a cinematic dub over the sorry azz Eagles any day of the week!

  3. RIP marshawn i know for a fact your loss effected not only the boys but the fans. I loved marshawn and the energy he brought he got a sack first game vs Philly it would have been amazing to have him on this journey , the cleats did it for me. I just don’t get it why he couldn’t ask for help πŸ’” may god bless coach and the Dallas cowboys and their families during this tough time. I’m not crying you are
