OL, Edge, CB, Safety, TE are all needs going into next season.

I don’t think we’ll be able to even address all these positions in one draft next year and free agency, but we have legit no TE going into next season, even Calcaterra as awful as he is, will be a free agent after this season.

  1. I would’ve said Goedert is gone earlier this year but all our tight ends genuinely suck. We may have no choice but to pay him.

  2. I heard Baldy say Goeddert’s blocking has been bad this year. Is that true? Seems hard to pay a guy that much who isn’t a good blocker and is injured a lot.

  3. Will always love Goedert but giving him anywhere near that kind of contract at this point in his career is the exact kind of thing that bad teams do and stay bad.

  4. Team utilizing him the way they are to get their money worth on his final year. We’re drafting a TE, was really hoping we went Fannin this last draft

  5. We should of drafted his replacement yesterday but this upcoming draft we will find our guy or 2

  6. We don’t need to spend that kind of money on a TE in what is a low volume passing offense that already struggles to get the ball to its star wide outs.

The priority for Howie this off season is to find TEs who actually want to block, because Dallas has even been bad at that this year. That and an actual fullback.

If we want to be a run dominant team, get the pieces in here to run that instead of just relying on the O-line.

  7. I’m really happy with jihad Campbell and Drew makuba, but man I would’ve loved to see us trade up for Tyler warren. His versatility and blocking ability would’ve really come in handy this year.

  8. Hasn’t Andrews’ play rather noticeably declined a decent amount the last two seasons? Doesn’t seem like the shrewdest move by the Ravens. Eagles need to draft a TE in the 2nd round next year, love Goedert (when he’s actually on the field) but I wouldn’t give him that kind of money.

  9. I am fine to see him leave. Nice player. Not worth that investment. Also Mark Andrews feels pretty mid last 2 years. Surprising contract to me.

  10. 0 additional dollars to skill players until someone on the offense shows the inclination to use them

  11. He is still a player the team needs

His blocking is required with O Line issues we have right now

He is a genuine target for QB1 and he is reliable

Yes. Had injury issues, but he’s not Robinson Crusoe there

  12. Honestly, I wouldnt mind trying to trade for a guy like Michael Mayer from the Raiders. Younger, good pass catcher and a stud at blocking for a TE. Calcaterra isn’t the answer and as much as I love Goedert his health has been an issue almost every season.

  13. His run blocking really has taken a step back this year. I don’t think I’d be in on that type of deal.

  14. they restructured him before the season otherwise he would have been released or traded. he’s not getting that here.

  15. He won’t be back. In addition to Oline they will almost certainly be drafting a TE if not multiple this offseason

  16. O line and cb are top priority. I wouldn’t re sign goedert. There’s alternatives out there for cheaper.

  17. I legit don’t know wtf the Ravens were thinking, that’s a terrible contract for Andrews. Welp, Goedert is either going to be franchised or Mayer is gonna be an Eagle next year.

  18. It’s why I’m so annoyed about this year. We’re gonna lose a lot of guys after this year and we’re not gonna make a deep run like we are now.
