I’m more depressed because of this team.
We have a different QB than last year! That’s exciting
This is what ya gotta do. Accept it’s over. Emotionally detach. Laugh about it. Realize it won’t last forever. Maybe we beat the purple browns and it will then be a pleasant surprise, like playing with house money. Basically lower your expectations to avoid being hurt. That’s my plan, being pissed off for a decade ain’t worked.
I honestly can’t think of one significant change.
The only “changes” that were made is sign an aging QB for 14 million, backed the brinks truck for our two defensive captains, and somehow regressed on defense and probably won’t even make the playoffs. Yeah so many changes.
I’m drinking more…
Mainly just players, they had not yet realized the dogshit coaches are the main problem. TBD if they’ve realized it yet or not.

Remember how you feel now. In July of 2026 it will be all hype up in here and blind praise of Tomlin.
Vrabel tried to get to the Patriots because they had Drake Maye. Tomlin could still be a viable head coach if they had a franchise QB and a Ben Johnson or Kyle Shanahan type offensive coordinator. But too much inertia in Steelers front office. The needed changes haven’t happened.
Will the 2025 draft in PGH be filled with booing? Will be quite a moment for the league…
The defense collapsed. Otherwise, not much.

I’m kind of curious to see what happens at the draft next year. If the rest of the year unfolds like many of us think and Art is to scared to hire, at the very least, some competent coordinators? Can you imagine if some fire the coach or sell the team chants breakout when the steelers make their picks?
Players, scheme, position coach changes.
