this is a bad trade for us, the rest of the team is too young to make use of giannis’s prime. We just aren’t a good landing spot for the freak.
the math might work but that’s about it.
MIL would want more even out of the first trade most likely an unprotected 1st draft pick or two. 2nd trade just wouldn’t happen.
They would definitely want a lot of picks on top.
It’d have to include a bunch of picks. Like 4/5 1st rounders.
Taking Giannis gives us the offensive weapon we’ve been missing and gives Melo someone who can be the best pob threat hes ever had.
People who think that wouldnt make us better OR set us up for long term success arent thinking things through here.
Yeah we’d give up multiple firsts but Giannis is 1000% worth it and if we only have to give up Miles, maybe Tre and Josh Green then I’d absolutely agree to that.
We’d immediately be in the play-off picture which gives us experience and as long as we keep the core intact then that speeds up our growth TREMENDOUSLY.
