  8. Is tucker objectively better overall than Bo? Probably. And would I like to sign tucker? Absolutely. But I need a Bo deal completed above and beyond anything else. And soon. Like yesterday.

  10. Give him the same deal they gave Cease, maybe with an extra year or two, and call it a day.

  11. I get that he has his defensive shortcomings but let’s not forget this is the guy that missed a month and a half then just showed up to the World Series and hit .350. Pay the man.

  13. Tucker should be the guy. Outfield FA class is awful next year for when we move off of Springer and transition Santander to DH. Compare that to the infield which still has Vlad, Ernie, Gimenez, Barger, and our top two position-player prospects.

  22. I’m just hoping Santander can get back to form. Having one of bichette and/or tucker would be such a fucking problem for opposing teams to deal with when top to bottom your lineup can produce offensively and it’s not like sending your 7th to 9th batters our there to just strikeout.

    It’d be such a crazy lineup to watch lol.

  23. The Bichette situation is a bit complicated as far as his free agency goes, because both the jays and Bo expressed strong interest to make it work…

    Teams are cautious to approach because they don’t want to just increase his Jays salary, and the Jays want to get the best value deal that he feels good about

  24. Ernie said in an interview he was invited to Bo’s wedding early in the New Year. Wouldn’t be surprised if Bo is motivated to get his deal signed in December before his wedding.

  26. No doubt having tucker on the team would be great. They’re talking to him because they should. There’s no guarantee Bo will sign.

    After the last place finish in 2024, Schneider, the FO, and players all learned from their mistakes. A few years ago we kept hearing about “the window”. Well, there’s a tremendous opportunity in front of this team now. Signing Bo is like having a perpetual window.
