were able to do that. How did you execute it and what were you most proud of? Um, couple of things. Um, I think yet uh this morning we had a long film session in the hotel, you know, back to back and and we talk about little details that we have to do better and I think the guys responded. I think they they tried to do their best. They played hard. They they box out. they, you know, um all the assignments that we have, our um schemes on defense, on offense, they try to do the right things and paid off. So, uh good to see that. Of course, we made shots and and we play play hard, but um just following the the game plan and trying to do those little things. And on the flip side, the Cavs got out to a fantastic start. It was one of those games where it felt like it could have gotten away from you, but you obviously kind of rallied. Um, what were you guys talking about during that time and how did you make sure it didn’t get out of here? Yeah, I think you know sometimes they’re going to make tough shots and I think that’s what happened in the beginning like Donovan Mitchell was really making every shot and but we were on the plays. We were contesting shots and um then in the end of the day if you just play the right way um you know the game switches and it goes through your way. So, I think um you know was a one of the better games we had this season just taking care of little details. Twofold. What was key to getting to the line because you guys did a great job of that tonight and how pleased were you with the way that you were able to take down the free throws? Yeah, I mean making the free throws is important but also we were aggressive the whole game. I thought that, you know, maybe we could have even more free throws, but, you know, I understand we’ve been driving the whole game and we play with five guys that can shoot um a lot of minutes there when when DC was not in the core. So, um we had way more space to drive and force them to to make a decision, right? And um you know, but still, you know, Danny was 16 for 17, so that’s great. Uh he’s been aggressive the whole season. didn’t change today. And then again, some guys you can rely on. Caleb in the city. What did you think of their performances tonight? Yeah, I mean, Caleb is one of those guys that have extremely confidence. He thinks he’s always open almost too much, but uh shot the ball well, not afraid of any moment. Uh City play hard defensively. Just pushing the pace and being in the right spot, guarding people, bumping people, boxing out. um you know hustle plays a lot of guys contribute to to this game and even guys you know W didn’t play for a long time and and he was there stretching the four for us and being effective on defense so a lot of good things the assist tonight were spectacular. What did you like about the maybe the patience they showed to find the open man the extra pass? Yeah, we have 27 assists out of 37 um makes. So that’s pretty good. Um you know again Jeremy has six assist four Denny seven. So not have and Shaden five. So not having a point guard a true point guard out there. These guys were there making plays and you know finding teammates. We talked about this this morning how we got to you know play together and share the ball and move the ball side to side and make it harder for the defense. Uh and we did tonight. All right.   4. Everyone worked hard today, the pace slowed down and there were some good consecutive passes, which is a good sign. Yang deserved more playing time today, but the good news is he can go to the G League for training.

  7. Caleb Love was playing pretty good as well. Put him and Shaedon Sharpe out there as to make points and think the Blazers and chance scoring points

  9. addition to the fact that Kamara and Don have improved their three-point shooting in recent games, which helps Danny provide assists, there is also the matter of the officiating, which was fine in Cleveland. Against Toronto, the reffs were bad . 2 clear fouls against Danny that you can see even on replay were not called, and that's how Toronto won… Portland gets to a lot of close games, but loses both because of the reffes -which doesn't respect , especially late in the game, and because of the shooting.

Portland plays euro basketball style and i love it ,they will allways pass or search for the open guy no matter if his name is love or clingan or deni open on 3 , i think if Jrue will upgrade them cause hes a good ball share player i think that Damien can rise in a team like this after he's injury and take less on himself physically, when Deni plays point who will leave Damien or jrue open on 3 and go help recover? Portland can be a monster skilled euro style basketvall team , pass penatrait paint pass and again , they can be a no dribble team on 3 with clingan and williams for alli inside or open 3, next year if no injuries i see them semi final west
