Manningcast BEST MOMENTS From New England Patriots Monday Night Football Win vs. Giants | Patriots
Drake May has made a big leap in year two. Let’s see how he’s been able to be so successful. Let’s see what he does here against the Panthers. This is a called fake to get out on the perimeter. Has a little flash fake there. He gets out to the left and does a great job of hitting his tight end Hunter Henry in stride so he can get down the sideline and get a touchdown for this Patriots offense. All right, let’s see that again. Actually, Pate, I’m going to go out on the field with these Patriots. You know, that’s always worked out really well for me. [Music] Drake May is a young athletic quarterback that can hurt defenses inside or outside the pocket. And that ability to move so well creates some real problems for a defense. You can see right here, he puts the Mario uh Douglas in motion. And at the snap, Hunter Henry, that’s on the right, is going to come across the formation, but instead of blocking the defensive end like he did last time they ran this movement, he’s going to slip past the defensive end into the flat. Now, here in this situation, the linebacker is in a bind. What is he going to do? He decides to run at May. Now, Drake has to get ready to make a throw. Now, a normal throw would look like this with this left shoulder facing his receiver, his target, and the ball coming out over his helmet. This one you can see his shoulders are wide open and he’s got to get his arm position underneath his shoulder pads to fit it through the window between two defenders. With that being said, with two defenders in his face, Drake does a great job getting the correct arm position to thread the needle between those defenders right into Hunter Henry’s hands. The Patriots are playing smart competitive football and it all starts with Drake May taking the next steps in his playmaking ability in his second season. play every Sunday or Monday night. That’s my suggestion for the new head coach. There you go. Oh, look out. Look out. Look out. Look out. Oh, no. Gone. Gone. Gone. All right. Not ideal. Not ideal. Special teams not off to a good start. Long long kickoff return. You better special teams. We want to go to our interim special teams coach next week, we don’t answer that. I’m not putting you I’m not trying to put you in a tough spot. Yeah. Ah, how great was that feeling as a quarterback when that happened? Okay, you’re putting your helmet on. You’re you’re warming up. You’re getting ready. Talk to the coach. What’s the play again? Okay, here we go. Here we go. And he runs it back. That is the best feeling. I mean, you feel like you did something. You did nothing, but you feel like you kind of scored that touchdown. Um, it is uh Oh. And it’s the worst feeling on the other side, right? Uh you feel like you your punt caused that touchdown because you didn’t convert that third down. So I like being on the Drake May side of it on a on a punt return for a touchdown. You know, I only I only ignore your facetimes, Peyton, not Danny. I think in fact I was talking to him on a FaceTime and he said what a throw Danny Danny FaceTime Eli right now and and say it’s going to be 247. We’ll see if he picks up. What a throw by Drake. Eli high outside away from the defender. Gave his guy a chance to run underneath and go and get it. Look at that throw. outside shoulder. One foot two. Is that knee is the left knee Danny down out of bounds before the right foot comes into bounds. Left foot. Eli, here’s the explosive play right here. They’re going to keep both tight ends on the backside in the block. Work this threeman pattern to the right. Let it play here. It’s just a scissors concept. Eli, see the outside guy running the post. This guy running the sail. Looks like a pair of scissors. That flat defender, that’s who Drake’s reading. He stays flatfooted. He throws the sail route, right? So scissors been around for a long time. Steve Young, Brett Favre called it razor. I actually checked the 55 Razer in my Saturday Night Live skinny line when I pegged the kids in the head. That was the play. It’s been around for a long time. But good read there by Drake. Could have had the check down in the flat. I like the read there. Gets down here to the goal line. Eli under center. Like you said, it’s a run play, but he’s under center. Eli, if he’s in the gun, that receiver is going to be out of the end zone. Let it play. By the time he gets this throw off, but it’s just a quick drop, right? One, two. It’s just almost, it’s not even a three-step, Eli. A two-step under center. 10 yardd line. Eli, we did three step inside the 5 yd line. We did a two-step drop. You get the ball out of your hands quicker so the receiver doesn’t get out of the end zone and can catch the touchdown inbounds.
The best moments from the Manningcast on ESPN during the Monday Night Football broadcast between the New England Patriots and New York Giants. Eli and Peyton Manning react to Drake Maye’s season so far, his touchdown passes to Kayshon Boutte and Kyle Williams, Marcus Jones’ punt-return touchdown, and more.

GO PATS
You will keep Eli Manning off of this channel Astaghfirullah
I used to despise Eli because of those 2 SB losses but honestly he's so down to Earth and likeable that I can't, he also helped our king Drake Maye in his QB camp so he has a hand in his success, he's the better of the Manning bros imo
Danny DeVito inserting himself into chat is literally the most random thing I've experienced recently 😂
The mannings have to be miserable that New England about to go on another 20 yr run.
"Thats always worked out for me" Darn youuuuu
WE DID GREAT IN DEFENSE!! WE HAVE TO CONTINUE THE BRUTAL DEFENSE! THAT IS CLEAN HIT! NOTHING WRONG ELLIS DID. HE DID GOOD JOB IN DEFENSE! WHO CARES IF THEY MAD!! WE HAVE TO CONTINUE OUR BRUTAL DEFENSE! IN NEXT GAME TO BILLS!
……….Not cool Eli
When Paton gets excited over a May pass it's a sign of good things to come.
I turned on the manningcast, in the first 30 seconds heard Payton "well let's hope they can get back into this thing" and I turned it back to ESPN. It would appear being neutral is beyond these guys. I won't make that mistake again.
Bill Belichick has as many Giants Superbowls as Eli Manning
why after all those years of suffering watching the Mannings play football do i need to hear they analyzing football
Thank you, Eli, the Giants are a huge pucker factor no matter what the record for the Patriots.
One Giant tripped the other at the end of the punt return
It is amazing that the Manning brothers get paid to watch and talk football at their own homes and virtually hang out with old and new friends. This is the ultimate post-retirement job for any NFL player or fan.
Eli’s face reaction haha didn’t like it at all 😂
I havent seen the manning cast before, but the old 2002 looking graphics is actually amazing. they had the exact play recreated in quick time too, pretty sick haha
Next time Eli steps on the field, Vrabel will have something for him. HAHA
Is the audio in this super choppy for anyone else?
EFF THE MANNINGS
This is such a awesome format. More pls
Danny looks like Santy Claus!
I took a shot every time Peyton said "Eli". I need a nap on da flooor noow.😵
What "leap"??? The Patriots had the softest schedule in the AFC, and even then, many of their wins were only by a few points against lousy teams or teams that had injury issues. They aren't this "great team"-once the playoffs start, it will be ONE and DONE
Eli's face on the return.. lol.. while we were all jumping! Priceless..
ELI manning was an average QB at best
You can hear Peyton’s excitement talking about Drake’s passes.
2 ex rival qbs of Tom brady n patriots covering the current patriots games. Poetic lol jk
I LOVE DRAKE MAYE
Im no football scholar, but that punt runback says a lot about how a team is coached.. number 12 had a beat on the guy.. did he go for the score stopping tackle or did he go for the glory strip? He went for the ball, allowing the runner to score on his team. If he managed to strip the ball it might have been recovered by one of his team mates, if he went for the legs the guy would have been knocked out of bounds, play over. Best play there would have been the legs.. isn't that what they mean about 'situational' football? Again, im just a novice
Eli looks sick
It was seeing Eli Manning reacting to the game and us winning that reminded me that this is not the Eli Manning Giants team that forever cemented the Giants as the BIGGEST pain in our butts a decade and a half ago lol
Audio problems, guys. Hard to listen.
Please fix.
Compared against four other YouTube videos to confirm this one is corrupted.
What about the TURF KICK⁉️😂🤣🤣
Love my Pats, and not to take anything away from the win, both the Henry and the Jones TD's were the result of bad coaching or un-coachable players. You have the angle on the runners, on the sidelines, and you swat at the ball? They deserved to lose. There's the difference, a physical well coached team make it a bunch of W's vs cashing a check.
I want to hear more about how that knee was down before the second foot for that first passing touchdown. They never even mentioned it on the main broadcast. I noticed it with that first replay and was bugging out. They even cut it out as they were going to watch it in slow-mo and show that it should've been reversed.
Snoooooze dorks
Eli went nonverbal
That Eli feature with the virtual reality stuff was cool AF would love to see more of the views from the QBs perspective like that
Eli manning on a Patriots official channel video is so surreal
Weird to see Mannings featured on official Patriots media.
