Rams’ McVay downplays chance at NFC’s top seed

  1. For Better or Worse, there is 5 weeks left in the season. A lot can happen until the final whistle of game 272 and our margin of error for Division or above is currently pretty thin. Best to focus on the game at hand and go from there.

  2. As far as I’m concerned we control our own destiny.

Sure if the Bears go 5-0 and we go 5-0 the bears would be the one seed, but the bears ain’t going 5-0 let’s be real. Pack twice, 49ers and Lions – that’s brutal.

Nothing has changed from our position last week in terms of standings, the loss is a blessing in disguise because it’s a wake up call and some good film to right the ship.

4-1 in this stretch of 5 should be good enough for the #1 seed.

  3. That’s coach speak, it’s extremely off putting to talk about getting the #1 seed with 5 games left and coming off a loss. McVay can read the room.

I’m sure that bye week and home field advantage is extremely appealing and a goal of his. Just like it’s a goal of every other team in position to end up #1.
