[Kendall] Kirk Cousins isn’t concerned about Falcons fracturing, he said. “These guys in general are positive people. They enjoy football, they want to be here. And our head coach, his wiring is so positive and it makes it an enjoyable place to work. Guys aren’t dragging around.”

  1. Glad to hear there is so much positivity in the building despite us being 4-8

    /s

  2. Everyone is all smiles in the building? Kirk always knows the exact wrong thing to say. Fire everyone.

  3. That’s been the problem bro. Everyone’s having fun except the fans

“We’re all making millions and having a great time!”

  4. I believe him, just because the Falcons in general have prioritized drafting and bringing in guys with cheery personalities. You can see it anecdotally from a lot of our players social media accounts. Of course we don’t know them on a personal level, but most of the team seems like genuinely good, family oriented people. I just wish it translated into wins.

  5. Yes. Translation: I am positively being paid very well not matter what. I am very positive.

  6. Cool. But, don’t professional athletes generally hate losing? You’d think they would be more sick of this shit than we are.

  7. I mean the fact they haven’t broken is a good sign that these guys get along. But at this point I’ll take what silver lining I can find.

  8. Yikes. This just highlights how terrible Raheem is. Eveyone is happy to lucky and comfortable when this team is full of talent and has one of the worst records in the NFL. I can’t stand seeing this dude laughing and smiling after getting his ass kicked after beyond out coached. He should be embarrassed and angry.

  9. The problem is Arthur and Rich are going to take this as an endorsement to keep Raheem. “Well the players love him! So…”

  10. Of course they want to win and are not happy with their record but win or lose they are going home with their millions so hard to be angry with the money these guys make.

  11. YOU’RE not dragging around Kurt because you’re getting paid $100 million to play ~ 20 games 😂😂😂

  12. I’m all for being positive but you can’t just be positive. You also have to change shit when things don’t work.

  13. Wait a minute. So when a disgruntled former employee ray ray “likes” a statement made by an absolute nobody that Raheem has lost the team its the gospel. When the teams literal starting quarterback says “no actually we’re good” its “OMG WHY ARENT THEY AS EMOTIONAL AND UPSET AS US FANS!!”. Gimme a fucking break man.

  14. You’d rather have this than whatever’s going on inside the Giants locker room. Or Dolphins every year where players check out of games every December.

The core guys are playing hard, no denying that but they’ve got like 7 practice squad level players starting on both sides of ball, over the last 3 months.

    -Right Offensive Line
    -2 WRs
    -JD Bertrand
-Every DB outside of Terrell and Bates
-Yonghoe Koo then whoever kicks it now.

  15. I think it’s important to remember that for a lot of these prayers, this really is just a job. Sure they want to win but at the end of the day, they want to work in a nice facility with a boss that respects them and cultivates a positive culture. That’s why despite our record, Raheem constantly gets high praise from the players. He’s a fun guy to work for.

  16. This reads like someone struggling to find nice things to say about the ugly sweater grandma just gifted you.
