This play permanently traumatized me and still makes me shudder

1st play, and that team was pretty good, but morale went to 0 after that
This was such an awful game it did irreparable damage to my soul
It seemed like they just woke up to play the game.
I saw it coming all season. Pounce high snapped earlier in the year and did it several times during it.
I remember saying that it was something to worry about.
I still remember watching this game with my Browns fan dad. Was like watching a train wreck
Was insane how high and far Pouncey snapped that ball over his head. We all went, NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Any momentum swinging play kills all hope on a Steelers team the rest of the game. I can’t recall the last time we actually came from a big turnover play, it’s always like the team just shuts down. Doesn’t matter if happens in Q1,2,3, or 4, you know the game is over when it happens
If Tomlin was a better coach he would have told his future HoF center not to do that.
My dad and I staring at Ben and Pouncey sitting on the bench mirroring exactly how we were sitting on the couch.
Iirc Pouncey was in a rush to help on a double team just to end up whiffing 🤦🏽♂️
There were signs before. But everything changed after this play.
The Shazier play haunts me.
That was also the turning point for this entire situation with the Steelers we have never recovered.
That and Mike Munchack going to Denver.
This and the Tebow TD live rent free in my head.
If there ever was such a blatant and obvious omen of the times to come, this sure as hell was it.
Loved it!
I waited all night for that game and to have it start like that.
I will never forget this game. First Mike Tomlin snaps the ball so high and Browns score instantly. Then i believe on the next offensive drive Mike Tomlin threw a crazy interception that immediately led to another Browns touchdown. After all is said and done i think Mike Tomlin fumbled once or twice and threw like 5 interceptions. Terrible game by Mike Tomlin
I can recall Steelers games from 1998-2012 then the Tebow game happened and now they are all just a blur
I’ve permanently erased this entire game from my memory so I have no idea what you’re talking about…
we have some of the most embarrassing play off losses in the league
Followed by the interception on an overthrown hb screen — thanks Ben
Ben should have retired after this.
I was a junior in high school when I watched this game. I’m graduating college in may, and sadly after all the partying and drinking I can still vividly remember this snap.
I only remember laughingly saying what the fuck, then angrily saying what the fuck, then getting up to get a stronger drink for the rest of the game.
Never forget
I just … don’t even understand how this could’ve happened on a first play … I’m still in denial
