HIGHLIGHTS: Nets Use Team Effort and Long Ball to Beat the Bulls
and Buvich clears the board. Averaging 9.8 rebounds per game as Giddy gallops down the floor and then throws it away. Has dealt with a number of turnovers the last couple of games. Porter in transition. Bully ball can’t finish. Follows it up and the Nets first basket of the game. Yman has done a great job of forcing the issue getting downhill. Lob it inside. Claxon guides it home. Nice find by Porter. And what a beautiful pass but beautifully run and executed play. Just doesn’t go down. those you’re okay with when you’re getting that clean. And then Martin picks it. He’ll take it all the way for the swipe and score. Oh, it was a nice feed by Buch, but Phillips couldn’t put it through. Now Porter bully ball down the floor. Two plus one. Michael Porter Jr. Patrick Williams this season, his minutes have somewhat gone down. His roll not quite what it used to be as Porter just zigzags through the defense for the bucket. Danny Wolf just checked in for the first time. He got quite the ovation behind us. I I know. I think there was a big family friend section. Oh, Zier says no. It was Pal and Williams who really ignited the defense in the second half with their ball pressure against Charlotte. Great ball movement here on the swing. Swing and cash. Zier Williams keeps the head up and then bounces it right back to Sharp Pal in transition. Look out pal right to the rack for two. Six to work with. Saraf will pull and hit the three. Six points. Only turn it over twice in that first 12 minutes. And the Bulls got nothing off those two. And now getting everything inside. A chance for three. I don’t know if that’s Yeah. Well, the fact that there was no song is a big Midas for a jump ball. Saraf. Oh, a series of moves and the finish on the flurry. How much he’s worked to improve his defensive side obviously coming into the NBA. Everyone knew what he could do offensively. The question was going to be defensively how he could stay in front. This is what sets him apart. Sevenfooter knocking down threes. Porter relocates. Can’t hit the three. Oh, Clowny over the top. Porter attacks. Euros and finishes. Michael Porter Jr. says, “I’ll get in on the party.” They’ve done a great job defensively against Fuj who’s now two for nine. Claxton continues to attack for two more. Billy Donovan I rate will take a timeout. And you’ve talked about Josh Giddy, but even overall for this Bull team, it’s interesting kind of the point they’re at in the season. Yo, man. Oh, gets creative in midair. Williams and Gilman. Started on the perimeter by Dumu now with a switch. Gilman will fire. Makes it rain from the outside. Lock in a little bit more here on this end. Dumu trying to bounce it inside. There’s a turnover. Nets looking to push. Porter head up. Porter stop. Martin to the rim for two. Rebound Claxton. Second chance for Brooklyn. Swing it. Clowning caught her on hand. Finds the cutter. It’s Claxton with a chance for three. Hometown kid back in Chicago for the first time since being drafted in the NBA. Throws the ball. Got the mismatch. Porter finds the opening. Pure Michael Porter Jr. with his fifth three of the night. Oh, the great hustle on the second chance on a back tap by Clowny. Now he relocates and Clowny drills it. Really good position here down the stretch already. Giddy double comes. Oh, perfect bounce. Oh, Nick Claxton. Give me that. Brooklyn has been in front the rest of the way. Carter nine to shoot. Steps up. Short roll. Clocks in line and finish. side here. Williams skying for the slam. Gentlemen on the outside. Porter with a game high 33. Back to Gilman. His three is good. It’s a Jagor bomb to add to the Brooklyn lead. We’ve seen crazier things happen. Nets need one or two final plays to put this thing on ice. That’s going to help. Olay defense. Claxton right to the rack. Hey, and and you mentioned this earlier about the gravity of Porter. That’s it. Trenton Flowers is in the game and this thing is final. 113 103. The Brooklyn Nets have won back-to-back games for the first time this season as they take down the Bulls in Chicago by 10.
The Brooklyn Nets earn their second straight win in Chicago with a solid team effort and strong shooting from long range.

The future is bright. I see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Ohh yeah, very very very gooood job π€!
Congrats πππ!
π Let's go Brooklyn Nets π€ͺπ€π€π€πΌ!!!
More meaningless wins. How good. With not having a first next year, we really needed to draft that number 1 or 2 option in this next draft in order to rebuild with the proper talent. If we fall to the 6th pick because of wins like this, the rebuild will never get started. I understand rooting for wins here and there, but too many will quite literally hurt this teams long term future and chances to ever get back to competing for championships.
If you have a different take, go argue with a wall. Rooting for short term success over long term success, is stupid talk, and I will not partake.

Clax was talking his shit πππ
Wolf is legit smart player ..
Good game nets
What happened to tanking? If they're in a full on rebuild, these are games they should be losing along with that game against Boston a couple weeks ago. They got the 8th pick in last year's draft, no body expects the nets to win any games, I understand the players and coaches themselves want a W, but that's not serving the organization if they're committed to rebuilding. Makes no sense. They should be focused on trying to get a top 5 pick, not winning meaningless games.
