  1. We’ll see on Sunday night whether any of it translates to getting off the field on 3rd downs.

  2. As a Nebraska Cornhuskers fan, this reminds me of when Scott Frost would say they had their best week of practice then lose by 20.

  3. Question. Why was it not possible for the team to be this locked in after being, say, 2-3 after being humiliated by the Jags?

  4. Football’s equivalent to the spring training “he’s in the best shape of his life”?

  5. This….. is never a good sign. The “best practice ever” the quotes typically only ever proceed a horrible loss.

    ………welp

  6. I get there’s not much to say that would satisfy many fans and he is obligated to speak, but where was this “locked in” mode the last few weeks? How about we better on 3rd and long? Again, not much different he could really say. Not like he would say they aren’t locked in.

  7. All this hype from Andy and Spags makes me think jobs are on the line, maybe not theirs, but other coaches might get the axe first

  8. Well, the Chiefs offense is facing a defense that sacked Allen like 8 times, so the chiefs defense better show up big.

  9. Hopefully they aren’t locked into offensive linemen and not getting home like the last two weeks.

  10. This just doesn’t matter.

No coach in today’s league would *ever* say “this was the worst no-helmet practice in XXXXXX” so immediately there isn’t even a floor to base it off of

Could have just said, “professional football players who have practiced football their entire lives are good at practicing when they don’t have to be worried about losing a rep”

  11. Because the d-line probably looks good actually since they are scrimmaging third stringers due to all our OL injuries.

  12. I hope that’s true but I’m feeling a little “thou doth protest too much”
