it's been well known you can aggregate players in a trade if you end up below the second apron post transaction.

Giannis makes us a mid garbage team with no future
They’d need to drop 23 million dollars. No one has cap space. You’d need 3 extra teams to dump cap for and they’d have you over a barrel, so it wouldn’t be cheap.
I’ve been messing around with the trade machine on fanspo and it is a lot easier than I thought to get under the 2nd apron with a third team involved.
That being said, I’m in no rush to blow up the team all willy nilly. Even with Giannis, we’d have to give up a lot and he’s had a few injuries these past few years.
