[Brewers] The Brewers have unveiled a new alternate road jersey

  1. Consistently the only team I envy with uniforms and logo.

Edit – Them and the Pawtucket Hot Weiners

  2. I’m convinced that someone at Nike thinks baby blue is the only color pallet available for jerseys

  3. Are the Brewers due for a new City Connect this year? Seems like they liked the keep to vibe of the Brew Crew pseudo-throwbacks still.

  4. Even though it’s the Brewers I gotta give credit where credit is due those are awesome looking jerseys

  5. It’s giving Brew Jays vibes, now the Jays need to match it with a smattering of Brewers yellow.

  6. Seeing as powder blues were used as road jerseys in the 70s/80s this is fine with me, as long as they wear matching pants.

It also seems like Nike has applied whatever changes they made to grey road jerseys to, at the very least, non-white alternate jerseys. The powder blue looks like it has the old collar shape, no stretchy material on the collar or sleeves, sewn on piping, and, best of all, THE BATTERMAN LOGO BACK WHERE IT BELONGS (pausing the video with Miz spinning like the damn Tasmanian devil was tough).

  7. Really thought they were gonna have overalls jerseys for a second at the beginning there

  8. Missed opportunity for Jacob to answer how he’s feeling with “Blue.”

    Nice jersey though.

  9. Love these jerseys. I have a love/hate relationship with teams getting rid of their gray jerseys for colored ones, I know the Rays and the Mariners already did it but man I love the grays. I feel like my O’s are gonna make the black jerseys their road shirt next year or the year after.

Also, extremely hot take but I love they didn’t do the full powdered blue. I feel like it’s been done to death recently with a good amount of the league doing it. I think the Jays, Twins, Royals, Rangers, Phillies, Cardinals have done it.

  10. These are nice, but there are too many teams with power blues.

If you don’t have blue in your primary color set, you shouldn’t have a powder blue variant (I’m looking at you, Philadelphia and St. Louis).

  11. when is some team going to have the balls to bring back the multi-colored elastic waistband?

  12. Genuine question. Do people actually like this over the classic brewers powder blues from the 80s?

As a die hard brewer fan I would personally rather just bring back this exact design. But it’s impossible for me to know if that’s actually the better jersey, or if bias/nostalgia is kicking in.

  13. “New”. The reason this color scheme even exists for the brewers is because they were the Seattle Pilots’ road color scheme and the brewers didnt have enough time revamp the look before the ’70 season.

  14. So if the cycle continues, where gonna see the sleeveless jerseys again in the 2040s?
