Caitlin Clark showed love to her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, gifting his team with her player-exclusive shoes. On Thursday, the Butler Bulldogs posted a series of pictures featuring players practicing in Kobe 6 ‘Light Armory Blue’ PE shoes gifted by the Indiana Fever star.

One of the pictures in the post also featured McCaffery rocking his girlfriend’s PEs. In the subsequent slide, a video showed the Bulldogs players unpacking the gift in McCaffery’s presence.

The post also showed love to Clark in the caption.

“Ultimate shoe plug @caitlinclark22 ❄️ Christmas came early in Hinkle 🐶🎅,” the message for the Fever star read.

Caitlin Clark also reciprocated love for the team. She reacted to the post with a dog and a heart emoji. Connor McCaffery’s younger brother, who also played for the Bulldogs, hyped up the WNBA star.

“Great job CC,” he wrote in the comments section.

This is the second Caitlin Clark Kobe PE that Nike released. Earlier, the shoe giant released the Fever star’s PE version of Kobe Bryant’s sneaker. Clark wore the Kobe 6 throughout her rookie season and has a special place in her heart.

“I’m a Kobe person, everybody knows that. It’s the best shoe, it’s not even close,” Clark said. “I probably like the Kobe 6s the best, which are the ones I have on right now. I like the 5s as well, but the 6s are kind of my thing.”

The shoe was released in October earlier this year.

Nike CEO gives update on Caitlin Clark’s signature shoe

Caitlin Clark’s fanbase is restlessly waiting for their favorite star’s signature shoe to drop. With the potential release date getting near, all eyes are on her first signature shoe, expected to boost Nike’s sales.

The shoe is expected to drop next year, and the Nike CEO, Elliott Hill, gave a big update on Clark’s signature shoe release. In November, Hill was asked about Clark’s signature shoe during an interview with the Wall Street Journal.

“That shoe’s coming,” Hill said when asked about Clark’s signature shoe release.
“We’re gonna continue to invest in our women’s business. We’ve had a great response to the logo we’ve created for Caitlin,” he added. “Clark has been a tremendous person to work with, and we want to make sure that we have everything from her logo to the product exactly the way she wants it before we launch it.”

There is no exact date for Caitlin Clark’s signature shoe release, but it is expected to drop by the start of the 2026 WNBA season.
