Dustin Wolf Spoke on the Calgary Flames Offensive Struggles to Start The Season

Dustin Wolf kind of called out his team after last night’s seven straight loss in a row. Go ahead and listen. It’s What is that like watching it? It’s tough. I mean, I I can’t generate offense. So, um know I do my job. I try to keep the puck out of our net and um know hope that our guys can generate a couple and it’s I’m glad we got we got one there. We got a point. But, um we got to keep working to to find more offense. I talk hockey every single day to make sure you don’t miss anything, but the Calgary Flames are having a super rough go of it to start the season. They’ve lost seven games in a row and have only scored nine goals over those seven games. I mean, I think this is just the Flames finally regressing to the mean. Last season, they had no hope of getting as close to the playoffs as they did, and yet they somehow managed to. I mean, they couldn’t score last season either, but they had Dustin Wolf being absolutely insane in net. In 53 games, he had a 9-10 safe percentage compared to this season. Through seven games, he only has an 875. So, with him not stopping quite as many pucks as he did last season, it’s starting to make that offense be a little bit more glaring. Do you think the Flames can fix their season?
