Two of the final four games for the Rams are prime time solo standalone games. Matthew Stafford is going to have center stage to himself. They’ve got that Seattle game coming up on Thursday night in a couple of weeks. If he goes in there and balls out and that shoots them right back to the top of the conference, that is a huge opportunity for him to make an MVP case. The opposite’s true, too. If he lays an egg, then that’s probably a wrap because everybody’s going to see that he gets a Monday night game in Atlanta against a terrible Atlanta team that he can go in there and torch theoretically pad some stats and and kind of do that victory lap where he goes in there and has a a four touchdown 350 yard game and just puts on a show and that’s kind of the cherry on top of the Sunday to win the thing.
