All right fellas, how you guys doing? Baldi, you went with the Letterman jacket again representing the National Football League. Roger Goodell going to send that check. And uh Bart, you look good in red. I appreciate it. It’s actually salmon and a little bit of pink, but that’s okay. Something’s wrong with your eyes color blind. He he he’s very comfortable in his skin to be able to wear that salmon outfit right there. Very comfortable. He certainly is. Hey Bart, I wanted to ask you about the Jets rivalry uniform that they will will be wearing this weekend against the Miami Dolphins. What do you think? I think it’s cool. You know what I mean? I I wish they would have put a little bit more of the gunmetal um gray instead of the charcoal gray. You know what I’m saying? To flash the colors up. Kind of reminds me a little bit of when Oregon kind of goes with that type of stuff. You know what I mean? A little army fatigue going on. You know what I’m saying? I just hope they play as tough as they as the uniforms look. Uh, speaking of playing tough, Baldi, you had the Jets game last weekend against Atlanta. Man, I was hoping that you’d have the Jets on the schedule schedule this week because you are a good luck charm. I don’t know if I was I don’t know if it was luck, you know. I mean, they obviously they won this the special team battle, you know, from the very beginning of the game. Uh Isaiah with another great return, set up a score. Uh you know, and we’ve been talking the last two weeks that this is a showcase for guys like Adai Mitchell. And you know, we saw we saw pretty much what he can do. I mean, he’s he’s a big guy that’s smooth, that can run by people. First touchdown of his career, came at a great spot. um you know the field goal at the end in a tough day where I don’t know if it was sleeping raining I mean it was it wasn’t nice outside you know to be able to execute that everything from the snap the hold the kick to win it was great because Atlanta is a talented team they got a lot of good young talented players John Robinson the whole go the defense that’s that’s that was a good win it wasn’t pretty you know a lot of them aren’t pretty sometimes but that was a that that had to feel good the whole team celebrated you know at midfield with that field goal kick. Um they’ve won three out of five games right now. EA um you could feel that it’s beginning to turn around gradually, slowly. It doesn’t matter when it happens, but you could feel like it’s happening right now. Bart, what do you say about that? Gutty, gritty, that come well that comeback. The Jets scored 10 points in the last two minutes for only the third time in franchise history. First time that’s ever happened at home. Yeah, I mean you talk about, you know, Tyrod Telly, you have to tip your cap to him. It wasn’t nothing great, but you know, in those conditions, you just want to be be the team that’s standing on top at the end, not make too many pivotal mistakes. He was a true professional. He made the throws that he needed to make. I think he showed a lot of grit, a lot of toughness. We thought a couple times he took some hits that he wasn’t going to get up, but he got up. He was u confident. You talk about him still showing that he has like the wisdom, but also the legs. if used his legs, especially late in that game to extend plays, but especially in the goal line to be able to say, “Okay, everything’s taken away.” And they clearly weren’t playing him as a running quarterback because they had their backs turned, didn’t have a spy form, and he made them pay. And that’s what winners do. They just find ways to win. Nobody cares. They all go down the same in a win column or a loss column. They don’t say how much you won by. This isn’t how close you were. You don’t get participation trophies or points, you know, to help go, you know, for for playoffs later. So, I thought they showed a lot of poise and belief. And, you know, the week before it was Meti. This week it was I Mitchell. That’s right. And, you know, I think um Mitchell Mechie probably has some drops that he that he wants to have back and let’s see how he responds to next week. But the thing is, I think everybody’s getting comfortable in their roles. And I’ll be excited to see when Garrett Wilson comes back what it looks like because it could be a preview about what the season could look like the next year. Of course, they’ll go out and maybe add another receiver, but the fact that you have a deep threat receiver, a guy who’s pretty much, you know, taking um, you know, what we thought Allen Lazar was going to be with more speed to take the top off the defense and you’re seeing guys take advantage of their opportunities. The fact that they, you know, have guys that believe in them and they’re they’re they’re here instead of a supporting cast, they’re leading men, right? And they’re getting opportunities to be starters and be guys that, you know, get plays called for them. And when Garrett Wilson comes back, I don’t expect that to change. I call him the three little horsemen. Baldi, we’re starting to see Aaron Glenn’s vision take form, aren’t we? Yeah. Yeah, I think so. I mean, the I mean, the penalty at the end uh backing up five yards wasn’t good, but the penalties are down. Um they’re playing hard. Everybody knows the role. Andrew Beck had a great block on the return. He knows his role. Uh, I think guys are comfortable getting comfortable with how they’re getting coached. That’s a big part of turning things around is I believe Aaron coaches hard. You got to hold these guys accountable. Look, Bejian’s a great player, but he didn’t kill the Jets. You know, they they they were able to kind of corral him enough where he didn’t single-handedly beat him. He’s done that he did that to Buffalo earlier this year. And so I feel like, you know, they got a rotation on the defensive line right now. Um, I feel like the identity is starting to show on offense, even though it’s not enough. It’s not consistent enough. You know, Ednai is a true ex receiver. They haven’t had that in a long time. Garrett is is your Z. Like Mason’s your tight end. like you’re starting to see pillars of what this team is going to be going forward and I think that’s what they’re beginning to establish and just the toughness that to your point EA that you can score 10 points in the final few minutes of a game to come back and win a game like that like those things are are really really important. Bart, what do you make of the special teams? You got folk hero, another great moment at Metife Stadium. Nelling the game winner, Austin M. He played with Johnny Unitas, right? Yes, he did. Christ like my teammate Willie Cologne teammate. We like, “Yeah, he played with you. Played with me, too. It’s still still kicking.” I tell you what, you know, he’s found a way to extend his career because of his accuracy and the fact that he’s clutch. You know, it was good to see. And listen, the special teams have been a strength for this team the entire year. And when everybody else, the other two units kind of pull themselves up, it’s only going to illuminate that special teams even more because it’s a true rep weapon to be able to flip the field by punting. And it’s a true weapon to be able to split uh to flip the field by, you know, your return game and guys that are unit um a legitimate threat. And you know, also, you know, you might just look at the the big ones, but you know, for me, the one at the end was pivotal. Getting eight to 12 yards. That’s a lot. you know, making sure and especially because the the play before the punt before you let the ball hit the ground, it pinned you back where it dictated what you can do offensively and then when you got the penalty, it made it even worse. The fact that you just catch the ball and don’t allow the ball to bounce and get those hitting yards and then get 12 yards, that’s flipping the field 20, 30 yards. That’s all you needed, you know? So, I’m impressed with the attention to detail, with the um complexity of like some of the returns, how they’ve morphed from just having guys flat on one line and basically being put in a wrestling match. They’re able to be able to to get separation in the um in the return game because they have guys off the line of scrimmage. No different than if guys had to run 20 yards. Naturally, the faster guys and the guys to the side of the kick would start to create, you know, vertical seams. Well, the Jets are figuring a way to create vertical seams by simply blocking some guys early and blocking some guys late based on their formations on the special teams. And that’s, you know, it’s a design and that’s taking advantage of the rules that we have now and find a way to be effective to get the same results because you know what you need. You need guys on different levels to be able to have great returns. There’s some football one five on for you, Bald. I mean, you really Hats off real quick to Quant Stiggers. Yeah, like he had a great game. He was a great gunner. He got the punt on the muff punt. Uh he beat his man. They they double teamed him later on. He beat the double team. You know, they had six punts and they averaged 49 and a half yards a punt because they eliminated the return yardage. And so that’s that’s a big flip of field position. Um you know, six different times in that game, they won the field position battle. That’s always the hidden the hidden part to success of a game like that. Yeah, I mean they’ve been consistent throughout, guys. Awesome. McNamera, you mentioned Stiggers coming up with the fumble recovery, of course, but McNamera, the Jets moved on from Thomas Morstead, an accomplished punter, and they brought McNamera in here. He’s played at a Pro Bowl throughout. And then you guys have talked about Stiggers. Well, the Jets thought they were going to able to depend on Chris Boyd, who was signed in free agency. Irv Charles, yeah, who unfortunately is coming off injury, so he hasn’t been able to play this season. Kane Wan Woo has been dynamic from a kick return perspective. Isaiah Williams, what a story he has been. And then, you know, you talk about other guys like Isaiah Oliver providing leadership. You had Marcelino McCra Ball who’s a special teams captain who was out for a while as well. Baldi mentioned Andrew Beck. I mean it’s like everybody’s producing and this is a firstear coordinator. Chris Banjo. Well, you know, if if if you let Westy tell it, you know, that’s just how he trained him. You know what I mean? So that that come that comes with the territory. Yeah. Um how about Isaiah Williams? The last time he played the Miami Dolphins. the Jets host the Dolphins this weekend is he was left for dead as far as what his future was going to be with the Jets because unfortunately had the fumble on the kickoff return also fair caught the ball inside his own five yd line and he has worked his way back um and he’s been so dynamic as a return man and he’s also earning reps on offensive side of the ball right and he’s producing there so I mean he’s earned that time uh Baldi, what do you make of Isaiah? Well, I mean, look, he’s uh he’s a he’s a key contributor right now week in week out and he’s a weapon and I’ll be interested to see just how the Dolphins handle it cuz like I was watching the game last night and why would you punt to Marcus Jones? Like why would you do that, you know, and he made him pay? But that’s what great returners do. They make you think about alternative ways to get the ball, you know, in play. And they if they make you think like that, then you have to be able to adjust if they do adjust. So I I think he’s you making these opponents right now rethink. I think you know if Raheem Morris had to do it all over again, I don’t think they’d be punting to Isaiah Williams in that situation. They directionally punt it out of bounds and they wouldn’t let him go 83 yards and flip the field like they just did. So I think he’s changing the way teams are going to game plan and approach the Jets right now. Ed and I Mitchell Bart six Jet uh receiver whose first touchdown pro touchdown came from 50 plus yards out. That was his first career 100 yard game. What what what do you make of his production? Because we saw Mchi early on, you know, those first couple games and now you’re seeing Mitchell come on. I mean, a lot of times you don’t get the the productivity and the recognition that you deserve or that you’re capable of. Not because you aren’t capable. It’s because you don’t have the opportunity. And you know, he came in with high expectations and, you know, things happen. You know, he got stuck behind some really good football players and, you know, he unfortunately, you know, dropped the ball and sometimes you get that scarlet letter there. You get branded with that. And that was his first, you know, career touchdown as well. And you know, what better way to have a touchdown than have a touchdown on, you know, a 50 yard bomb, right? You know, that’s that’s that’s kind of like telling everybody what we already knew that this guy’s a a threat and he can in the future be one of the better receivers in this league, one of the better, you know, deep threats. I mean, you look at where he left. He left a guy at Alec Pierce that was a big uh play threat. I think probably probably has the the the the greatest or or the highest um yard per catch right now in the NFL for the last couple years. Well, I think that Mitchell can be the same way. You know, he’s big, fast, and you saw his ability to separate. You know, even against Gonzalez the week before when he first came in, they had the inside fade that if, you know, Fields throws the ball in front, he’s hitting his head on the goal post two weeks earlier. So, he has that type of capability. And I love the mix that this creates because you have the route runner and and Matchi that can go underneath. You got uh Garrett Wilson that can do it all, but now you have the ability to if you want, you know, these guys been playing X and Z. You have the ability on certain downs and distance to put Garrett Wilson in the slot where you can’t put your hands on them and they still have to respect the fact that that Mitchell can run by everybody which is going to eat up the safeties and potentially the corner. So, you saw that in the in the sale route that you had me break down. pretty much what it is just a three- tiered, you know, um, route, but it’s it’s all led by the fact that that Mitchell mean that that you can you have guys that can take the top off the defense, multiple guys that can take the top off the defense, which gives you vertical space and it gives you horizontal space. So, you have all 53 wide and now because he’s able to get take the top off the defense that gets you 40 to 50 deep. So, that creates all type of voids for underneath and for the route runners and Mason, you know, should be able to eat off of that. Garrett should be able to eat off of that and Matthew should be able to eat off of that. Yeah, Baldi space. That’s the key word here is that he’s going to open things up. Mitchell’s opening things up for Garrett Wilson down the line, but in the short term number 20 as well because hey, what are you going to do? I mean, against the Jets, you know, they want to run the football, but if you’re going to load that box, you’re playing with fire. I think so. you know, um they called two plays for him on third downs in that game where he came across the field in in in in motion and then just ran uh you know, a speed out, one for, you know, 15 yards on third and 11 or third and nine, you know, another one on a shorter route, but still he’s he’s very smooth coming out of his breaks and he comes back to the football. He doesn’t like hang out there and allow the defender to really attack him. So, he’s got some fundamentals that are really good and his body like he comes out of his break smooth. You know, he’s going up against, you know, AJ Terrell. He’s a good corner. He’s been a Pro Bowl corner, but, you know, he’s separated from him and he can run by you. So, I think teams will Miami will look at that certainly this week and they’ll be a little bit more cognizant of it. But look, when you get a true X receiver that can beat you deep, it usually opens things up underneath. Whether it’s the run game or whether it’s a checkdown game or, you know, whether it’s your just your short game or your quick game, it opens things up. You’ve got to be cognizant of it. And I would think that, you know, he’s going to get a lot of attention because of it. You might even Miami doesn’t have a number one corner, but the teams like New England that do and Christian Gonzalees, you know, down the stretch until Garrett gets back, you know, he probably is going to get the number one corner out there, which can open things up for other guys. The draft capital is exciting. There’s no doubt about that when you’re talking about that trade. S Gardner, very talented player, goes to Indianapolis, you get a pair of first round picks. But I I think a lot of people early on at least were thinking, “Okay, Mitchell will have to see, you know, how this progresses.” To Bar’s point, buried on that de on that depth chart in Indianapolis. Now he just comes here, he has an opportunity. This is a former second round pick blessed with a lot of natural talent and he’s got a good mindset. So he comes in, he’s paired up with a veteran quarterback. So, I’m excited to watch what his near future looks like. And then down the line, once Garrett comes here, you’re starting to see Bart, it’s a young offense, man, because you got the pieces up front on that offensive line. You got the running back in the back field. You got Mason Taylor at the tight end position, and then you your three receivers when we’re talking about Matchy Mitchell and Garrett Wilson. They’re all under 25 and all under team control. But also what that allows you to do is that allows you to one go for a receiver if you want. But it you don’t have to go for him. If you want to go get the safety in the draft from Ohio State, you can do that. You can take the best player available. If you decide to to push kick the can down the road and address the quarterback position in 2027, if some of these guys decide to stay in because with all this NIL money, they’re not just trying to hurry up and run to the NFL because that that kind of holds guys in more. Um, so you know, also, you know, if if another Taiwan breaks loose, I understand that that Mason Teller, but you can always have two great tight ends. Look at a Jooko and look at uh, you know, look at Fannon right there. Look at look at likely, look at, you know, I mean, you need two of these type of guy, Mark Andrews, you know. So, if you get a guy that’s a dynam more dynamic than than Mason Taylor, then now you have two guys that can push each other, right? So, and that helps you work the middle of the field. So you can you just want to get the best weapon for the offense and that could be a tight end. The beauty is like like I said about the Ravens and the Kansas City Chiefs and back in the day it used to be the Seattle Seahawks under Pete Curl that you never know what beautiful thing falls to you and it’s always surprised like I can’t believe this guy’s here. Well he’s the number one guy on our board. We didn’t think he’ll be here. All right. So, and now the Jets offensively, I think, is at that point where they have a pretty good offensive line. If they want to sign Ver Tucker, if they want to bring back John Simpson, they can do that. They have the money and the allocation to do that. But if not, they can draft their replacement. And I always like, in my opinion, I always like when teams draft a guy’s replacement, but he has to sit and wait for a year. That way, you can work him in, unless he’s just a guy that’s ready to that blows you away in training camp. That’s the best way to have it. have a guy that could be mentored by somebody in that position and then move along later. Bald, the the Jets offensive line has had continuity throughout through 12 games. They’ve started the same five. That’s the first time that has happened around here since 2012. Well, not only that, Eates, it’s the only offensive line that has done that in the league. That’s right. This year, the only team to start all 12 guy, all five guys 12 straight games in a row. So, you know, for a long time we were like, why are these guys always getting hurt? I mean, it was everybody. It was older guys, it was young guys, it was, you know, maybe they’ve changed the way they practice. I I mean, I don’t know. We don’t know. Maybe it’s just the right guys. But it’s just encouraging to see that these five guys, and I believe Titman has improved to the point where if you want to keep him at guard, I think you could keep him at guard. If you want to, you know, put him back at center, I think he could do I think you got some flexibility here. Um, and so I feel like the longer, just from experience, the longer you play together, the better you get, the more you see things, the more the easier it is to adjust because nothing ever really looks if Bart freaking, you know, is sitting there at linebacker and I can’t get to him, you know, on my inside slant, like I might have to fold to get to him, but if I know if I don’t get to Bart, he’s going to freaking make the tackle. So just the the subtle adjustments you can make amongst your group in order to get things taken care of. Like this week in Miami that Jordan Brooks like he’ll make every tackle if you don’t block that kid. I think he might lead the league in tackles right now. So maybe it’s just one of those things in their 13th start if they they they can figure out a different way to get to Brooks in a look that you know in practice that looked like we could get to him in the game. We can’t put a a hat on him. So maybe you just adjust a little bit during the game because you have that familiarity with each other. All right, before we get to a quick preview of this upcoming game, Jets Dolphins, I just wanted to get your thoughts on the young dudes in the secondary, specifically a Thomas, what you’re seeing from him on the outside, Mel Kai Moore playing that safety position. Well, I like I like the physicality and I think that’s one of the things or one of the knocks that was on Sauce Gardner is that the physicality coming up in the run game. And if anything kind of shows you what Thomas is all about, it’s that fourth and short play where they went with the tight end and the quarterback sneak and you know, you got one of the most physical downhill runners in football in um um Alzir Alier. Alier. Yep. and he came down and he didn’t just wrap them up, he knocked them backwards. So that that’s what you like to see. And I think, you know, that that’s intimidating, right? Because sometimes your corners have to be force force defenders as well. And you know that, like you said, crack replace. How quickly and how enthusiastic are you to come up when the guy is cracking your safety and you got to come out and replace and make the tackle? Will you step on the train tracks when the train is coming through? And you like that physicality because that sends a message that, hey, we ain’t candy over here. Like listen, when we were here, like Crow Crow will get you down. Revers knocked the hell out of you. You know what I’m saying? So, it’s one of those things. And that was he equal he was an equal opportunist ass kicker when it came to it. Like I he didn’t care if it was a a tight end, a receiver, or a running back. I’m coming down and I’mma lay a physical tackle on you. And that that sends a message that, yeah, you can crack all you want. We don’t have no problem with our quarterback taking the kneecap of your running back out. We all good with that. Ain’t no ain’t nobody ain’t nobody on this field soft. So, if you looking for a weak link or a soft person, you got the wrong team, brother. You better put that chin strap up cuz it’s going to be downhill. This defense is scrappy. I mean, you know, listen, Bejian got his yards last week and Pitts got his yards as well, but to your point as far as what we’re seeing from the dudes in the secondary, they’ll come up and play the run and they’re thumpers and that’s what Aaron Glenn wants. Okay, so let’s take a quick break and then we’re going to preview Jets Dolphins. Gotham City football is coming. Be at Metife Stadium to see the Jets face the Dolphins. Baldi, what are you seeing from Miami? They’ve won three in a row, four of the past five. Uh Bart’s uh former teammate Anthony Weaver is doing a good job with that defense because they’ve really improved throughout the year. But offensively, Tua’s got 14 interceptions and everything’s running through Devon Han who’s having an outstanding season. Well, in his three-game win streak, I think Mike McDaniel has really adjusted. You’re seeing a lot of formations you don’t see in any other team. Tight ends in the back field, offensive guards in the back field. You could see a power pistol formation. You don’t know who’s coming in motion. Uh Darren Waller is healthy. He’s a factor right now. But it does run through a Chan and they’re playing much better. They got the right tackle back, Austin Jackson. Um the left the left side, Patrick Paul, is enormous. Um you could beat him in pass protection a little bit, but he’s getting he’s getting pretty good. Um, I I feel like right now the run game is got a lot of misdirection. Your eyes got to be right. You’re going to see a lot of uh a lot of pre- snap motions. You’re going to see a motion, a shift every single play. Every time you motion, every time you shift, Bart can talk about this. Your eyes change. They they adjust. And then you got different people going in different directions. And Tua is pretty masterful with all of his ball handling. So being disciplined and knowing where guys end up in the formation is critical and key to defending some of these plays. Han is I think he’s the third or fourth leading rusher, but he’s also a great receiver. He leads him in receptions and he leads him in rushing. Um you know the literally he’s going to touch the ball 25 or 30 times and he’s got elite speed. He can turn the corner like Bejian can, but he is a gamecher. And I think Mike McDaniel’s done a good job of really building this offense to try and take a lot of the pressure away from Tua and try to limit some of the turnovers that he’s been created. All right, Bart, what’s the defensive game plan here before you answer? Mike McDaniel said this week of the Dolphins offense, at some point we are going to have to execute in the near future because in the NFL you have success in a phase or success in running the ball and people will overcommit and eventually you will need the pass to win. I think that will be a big thing that we will be working on this week. Dolphins are having difficulty through there. Sure you are. Yeah. You’re going to come up here in these elements and we we believe that you’re going to throw the football. Yeah. Right. Guys are going to be having their hand pouches with hand warmers in them. So, we know this usually going to come in between the the trenches and if you watch Bean Robinson, I think they will be encouraged. The only difference is like when they do that crack toss and they have the, you know, the the what we call um far eye because they got the the the fullback offset and they do the crack toss and they force the corner to replace. I don’t think our corner will do the Olay move. that the Saints did last week and move out the way. I think it’d be straight ahead, no fair dodging and uh we’ll make them pay the price if they want to have an unblocked player. We’ll make those tackles. Um but you know, they get their explosive plays from the run. You know, Han is a home run hitter. You can’t allow him to circle the defense. So, I mean, I think that you you you you really got to make sure you set edges. You can’t be trying to get a sack on the run play. You got to make sure that you sit up and you’re you’re going through the man to via the man. You can’t be just trying to get up field, get bend blocked and allow that tackle to go, you know, bend block you and go run up and and hit the the linebacker two for one. You got to hit guys thick. You know, when that fullback comes in, it’s one thing to say, “Okay, I spilled it without burying yourself.” You got to hit that guy thick with your head on the inside of his helmet. That way, you get knock him back and you’re able to seal the gap inside with your body and seal the gap on the outside for your body and then make that ball have to bubble. But you got to go down and tell that fullback, listen, you might want to go tighten up your neck roll because you keep coming in here, you about end up without no neck. Uh the challenge is for the linebackers with all the pre- snap movement and will help the I mean we we listen, we we all call that you so crazy. That’s all I like you know you you you remember Shawn McVey used to do that as well, right? That’s that’s that’s what what it was all about. They doing all that to run regular traditional power plays. They just want to create that hesitation to set up the block for the lineman so they can get the angle for you. So listen man, I don’t care nothing about that out there. It’s guys that got the force. My job is to make sure I’m inside out to the football. I can care less about all this, you know, power. You if you want to get a couple if you if you want to get a couple uh jet sweeps and beat me around the corner once or twice, have at it, buddy. But I know that the meat and potatoes are the power, the wham, the wo, the boss, the outside zones, the crack toss. You can miss me with all this other trickeration stuff. I’mma come downhill. I’mma keep my eyes on who they supposed to be on. I’mma keep on them guards because the guards gonna take me to the ball and that fullback gonna take me to the ball. You can you can hand that little jet sweep off every once in a while. I let the corners and the little the little hyenas handle that. But these Lions in here going to eat. And Baldi, I’ll tell you what, our uh super linebacker here wants to have this game in a foam booth. You know, like it’s cold weather. We going to see how we going to see how much they want to play because one thing that happens to them shoulder pads is them things get nice and stiff, nice and cold and that ground get nice and cold. And you know, if it’s a quarterback, you may get in trouble. But man, if you take one of these uh running backs of tight ends, you pick them up, you dry that shoulder, dry that head into that frozen hard ground, uh yeah, they’ll be a little worse for wear offensively. Baldi Trod um got it going in that second half. How can the Jets carry that momentum against a Dolphins defense that we’ve talked about is playing an improved brand of football? Ma Fitzpatrick’s still back there and Russul Douglas, it’s going to be interesting to see where they put him this weekend. Obviously, he had the interception against the Saints. Uh Tyler Shuck, Russell Douglas been this league a long time. I mean, he’s a big corner. He’s his own corner. He he he he he was drafted where he was and he’s on his fifth or 16 for a reason. Like he doesn’t run great, but he’s excellent in zone coverage. He’s got good eyes and good instincts. So that’s what you’re going to get from him. You’re not getting any press man, but you know, AD Mitchell can run right by him if given the opportunity. I I’m not Their secondary is not very good. The front has gotten a lot better. A lot better. I think um you know, Weaver’s done a good job of really coaching. I mean, there was a time they couldn’t stop anybody from running, but those two linebackers, you know, Brooks has really understood how to play with his defensive line. Their run fits are very good. Uh, you know, they got some, you know, a young pass rusher and Chop Robinson had a good game last weekend. Um, they got some guys that can get to the quarterback. Zach Sealer inside has been a problem. He’s he’s been a 10 sack guy before, so they’ve got some guys inside that can, you know, that can also get to the quarterback. But, you know, I mean, got I don’t think that there’s exotic blitzes that you see from some other teams. I mean, that they’re pretty basic. They’re going to send a fifth linebacker, you know, uh to kind of balance out the rush and maybe limit Tyrod from, you know, scrambling like he did last week. I expect to see some of that stuff. But, um, you know, I I I feel like this is a very like I feel like this is the week that the Jets should get their first interception. Two is gonna put two up for grabs. He just does. He sails balls because he’s he doesn’t see real well from the pocket and you know he’s going to take his shots and there’s going to be a chance for two if you get one of them that’s going to go a long ways in that game. Yeah, he’s got 14 interceptions this year. Yeah. And here’s the thing too too that they that you know they tell you don’t tell you. The football one is harder to catch, right? Because it’s slick if it’s cold or the oil comes out of the football. So it could be some some tip balls tip tip balls and overthrows. you’ll change games, but also it’s what I would do is I would make sure I pack the boundary and pack the middle of the field and make him throw the ball outside the numbers because you have opportunities to break on the ball because he doesn’t have elite arm strength and with the cold weather his grip on the ball is going to be different and his timing and the speed in which the ball he’s used to the ball carrying through the wind just like we we see when the ball is kicked, you know, the ball doesn’t travel as far. Also, when you throw it, it’s going to take a little longer to get there. But you don’t know that until you try and actually throw it. So, your timing can be slightly off when you’re a receiver trying to hit a moving target if they want to throw speedos or speed outs. So, I’m going to give you a bunch of cover three and hope I can get that hook curl same flat player to come in and still be one on one of them weak ass out routes. Yeah, those are far throws across the field, especially in December up in my life stadium. Okay, so with the win, let’s get out of here with this. Jess won three of five. um they have yet to win a division game. Over the course of these next five games, you’re playing three inside the AFC East. The division right now looks like it’s flipping. You got the Patriots have won 10 consecutive games. They might be on their way to a divisional crown. They might be the number one seed in the AFC. With that being said, how important is it for Glenn and this group to get over the hump inside the division? These are teams you’re going to be battling for not only this year but 2026 and beyond forever because Patriots aren’t going anywhere. It they’re ascending. The Bills are always going to be dangerous with Josh Allen and we don’t know what Miami situation is going to be. But just shortterm just getting worn inside the ASC. Well, I’m trying to be the Grinch that stole Christmas. Yeah. And I’m trying to make sure I put coal in all these dudes uh thing. I’m saying all right Buffalo. Yeah. you ain’t winning the division. I’m say, “Okay, well, uh, you know, New England, you not going to have the best record.” Now, here you go. And Miami, you think you going to sneak in or maybe you got hope? Well, I’m going to kill your dreams, too. If I can’t go, ain’t nobody going. So, I’m going to try and make sure I do damage to everybody. And I’m saying, “Hey, when you come in here, yeah, we going to make this one of the most physical games. We gonna make sure you lit to the playoffs so that y’all can get.” They said, “I can’t have no happy ending. Can’t nobody have one.” Baldi. Well, I mean, look, you build your team to win in the division. Division games count for two. Like, you’ve got to win division games. If you think, you know, you want to start improving, you win in your division. You send a message because everybody sees everybody’s tape in the division. They all get watched every week in the cutups. Like, winning in the division matters. And so, this would be a great spot. You got a home game. um you know got you got a home game, whatever crowd is out there and braving the weather, braving the elements. Um those are true Jet fans being out there. They’re going to be like they’ll be standing up the whole game no matter what the uh you know weather conditions are. Like winning in in your division is important and maybe it’s time to send that message back to Mike McDaniel and that South Florida group that maybe this isn’t the right regime going forward. right now they’re feeling pretty good about themselves that they can dig out of the hole, but maybe you should just like stop that and stop that celebrating that they’re doing down there. Uh, you know, all talking big for winning three in a row and beating the lowly Saints like they did. Like this is the time to go put an end to that. Yeah, it’s extremely winnable game for the Jets and they can make it four or six before they go face Jacksonville the following week and then after that it’s a date with the Saints in New Orleans, a team who has won two games to this point and then you will get a shot at the New England Patriots. So, uh AFC East landscape is changing. I think the Jets are on the scent. We know the Patriots are so far this season and the Buffalo Bills right in the playoff hunt as well. We’re gonna have to see how it all plays out. Great stuff is always Baldi with your Letterman’s jacket and yeah and Bart coming out going to his fresh off the homecoming game. Bart coming out here with the salmon sweater again. Man, I’ll tell you what, you’re in good shape for December. You give us a few snaps on Sunday. Well, I’m about to go straight to the gym. If they playing If they paying, I’m playing. I mean, I know Ragnar couldn’t get it. I think my hamstrings, both my hamstrings are good. Yeah, that that was some physical that Frank. All right, boys. bring back the Jets road whites from SB3
The route running last game was very good most plays, they were creating space. Jets Attacked those corners trying to play off, created a lot of spacing between routes it was Good man, looked real good. Great called game too by Tanner.
Close wins are probably going to be the norm for a while.
Eric Allen aught to make an appointment with Jake Asman's hair transplant Dr.
Bart needs to be the LB coach for the Jets!!!
It took New England the right coach and one off season to become the best team in the AFC. We got AG and the worst start in franchise history.
You can tell Bart ain’t buying in lol. He’s trying to contain himself but when EA is talking up the jets Bart is rolling his eyes lol. 😂
We need Bart as a defensive assistant coach! Confused as to why AG hasn’t tapped that resource
