I would love to see a Michkov – Konecny – Zegras line!!!
I was hoping he’d be in Philly for part of last summer and just figured Briere and staff would know how he was training over in Russia. I’m happy to see that he is going to learn from last years mistake, and work with his team staff and anyone else that trains among the players
Get this guy with whoever’s got that Cates-foerster-brink line buzzing all the damn time!
Guy’s clearly showing that he learned from his mistakes the past offseason. That’s the sign of a keeper – not never making a mistake, but knowing you’ve made one and correcting it.
Tocchet to Michkov: Skate hard. Put puck in goal.
Michkov: 💡💡💡

Just follow through MM and you’re gonna be ok
I love Meech. I’m always smiling when I see him in the middle of scrums
The reason I felt so strongly about his franchise player potential was his desire to be the best and willingness to put the work in. Things like wanting to hit the ice/shooting room right off the long plane ride over here.
This is exactly what I was hoping for coming off of how this offseason seems to have gone. Got to get some time away and also learn a lesson in what it’s going to take early in his career and should be better for it in the long run.
Kid is a professional.
Thank Christ.
this will become the best decision he makes after choosing to come here before the draft. we better hire the best skating coaches money can buy, throw so much sports science at this kid he feels like ivan drago. the one thing im not concerned is his strength and willingness to bang around hes a thicc boi with a low center of gravity and ive seen his strength trainers videos on IG lol.
give Mich a full off season of top tier training and he will be a fucking demon next year, i hope some of the other prospects follow his lead, I hope they all do.
He knows what he needs to do. Put in the work kid, you got this
I’m glad that last off season he got whatever out of his system, I can understand that as young man( I’m old). And I believe that with the way they are playing now has lit a fire in him. And Tocchet has been good for him. Great interview with Tochs last night during the game also.
Sounds like a typical “sophomore slump”. Have a great rookie year , rocky first offseason, now everyone has a season worth of tape on you to defend you better, reality check, pushes it to the next level this offseason. Next year is gunna be straight fire from Meech
I’m erect. Hallelujah.
Gonna look like Brock lesnar after a summer of training + cheesesteaks
Yes, I just got done watching the presser today from Tocc where he relayed this info, music 🎶 to my ears!!
Great answer from the kid
It was disappointing to see how he came into the season, but he’s young, mistakes happen, what matters now is how you react to it. So far he’s owned up to it and isn’t going to make the same mistake again.
Maybe he was expecting a Torts style training camp to get his skating legs going.
Has he yet to experience a summer down the shore!?!?!
Just keep him away from his countryman Kuzmenko and his Bali summer “training” regime Surprised the Dubai training didn’t go as planned.
Nice to see him maturing.
