I understand why he hasn’t been fired yet, and it’s because as bad as he is, it would be so much worse with any of his assistants taking over. But it’s gotten to the point where other coaches are making fun of us openly and he doesn’t care. And JG will still blindly defend him. No accountability is probably the easiest way to lose a locker room (like how Steve Wilks blamed everything on having no gap integrity) and I think JG is starting to get there

  1. The fact that Gannon defends him is ultimately why Gannon has to go. He endorses this style of play, he wants this style to remain.

You CANNOT trust a coach who wants this style of football.

  2. I don’t even know why folks ask them questions. They always reply they love what they did, even though it wasn’t enough.

  3. I don’t understand why people make a big deal out of these quotes. He’s not gonna come out and say “I suck and should be fired” he’s gonna keep saying this nothing statement of we need to get better.

Even if he did acknowledge his mistakes he’s not gonna change anything. I fundamentally believe he can’t make this offense better. Has any coach interview ever actually changed any perception of a coach. No, and nothing he says is gonna change how we feel. He sucks. He should be fired. We want him fired now. Those opinions aren’t changing.

  4. These guys speak so much bullshit that they can’t even admit that the defense knowing what the play is before it even happened is bad its genuinely sounds like a bit at this point 😂😂😂

  5. God I hope Mcvay dunks on them during his press conference on Sunday. He’s not one to hold back.

  6. Drew Putzing is a fuck. He looks like Elmer Fudd and Ross Perot had a baby then threw up on him.

  7. I’ll shit on the coaches all day. But I highly doubt they knew exactly what the routes were and where the ball was going. That’s how he made it sound. There’s multiple plays out of a single formation. Do I think they had a good idea of what might have been coming? Sure. That’s part of studying. He also might have been playing it up to toot his own horn.

That’s just my opinion, and another angle to consider. And I could definitely be wrong.

  8. Petzing could have gone up there and shit in a sandwich. That would be more impressive than the play calling he does every Sunday.

  9. As much as you all want to see it, most coaches aren’t going to throw their players or coordinators under the bus. Besides it still never is a absolving of your own issues to blame and point the finger at someone else. JG probly knows they are all getting fired… and so why would he lose a friend, lose a collegue for what..? To make himself look like he’s not the problem? It’s a trash heap, they’ll all gone next year… I wouldn’t be pointing the finger at anyone either. There is no benefit to it.

This is just hilarious though, it shows honestly how bad Petzing is at his job and it’s insight into why we haven’t been good.

  10. “I didn’t make the right call. I think that’s always gonna be the case” finally something he says that I agree with

  11. Gotta keep the genius level play calling a massive secret. Can’t afford to give away anything. Way to answer Petzing!

  12. Pretty sure this isn’t the only time our offense has been called predictably easy to counter, too
