Seattle Seahawks Get Even More Good News Ahead Of Falcons Clash…

All right, the Seattle Seahawks get even more good news as they head into this game against the Atlanta Falcons. If you’re new to the channel, we are Detroit Lions fans, but this channel fully dedicated to teams that get overlooked by the national media. So, we started talking about the Seahawks. Um, gez, when you got wid of Russell Wilson, we thought they might be all right with Gino Smith. By the way, what happened to Gino Smith? Holy smokes. Poor guy. Always liked him. You I wonder how you guys feel. Let me know in your com in the comments just seeing you because it’s like, man, I love you. thanks for all that you did and it’s too bad to see you just being terrible all of a sudden. Hate to see that. Okay, first of all, two teams heading in opposite directions. You got the Atlanta Falcons. Good news number one is they are just they’re four and eight. I mean just lost six of seven where you’ve won six of seven, right? Like life’s life’s good. But here’s the one that I I love. Um Reek Woolen was like totally talked about as a trade candidate back at the trade deadline, final year of his rookie contract. He’s kind of in this rotational thing. It’s like, is he even good? But the last few weeks, he’s defended eight passes in the past six games. Got an interception on Sunday. It’s like, this is what this is what we needed. If you’re if you’re a Seattle Seahawks fan, this is exactly what we’re looking for. So, can he continue that against the Falcons? Like, these are the things that you’re looking for. Number one, you want to get a win. Duh. But outside of that, you’re just at the point in the season, hey, could we get this player looking good? Could we get this player? Could we continue to stop the run? Can we be Can we get explosive plays? I mean, you guys have this ability to just get big plays defensively, pick sixes, scooping scores, sacks, strip sacks. It’s like that. Hello. Can that can that continue? Can Jackson Smith and Jigba keep doing his thing? Right? These are all the things you just want to keep that momentum going that you’ve had. So Reekquick Wool and I love that. Um, and I was talking about Leonard Williams and Byron Murphy. I mean, it’s just so many fun things happening in the backfield when you play people. Something good’s going to happen. The Seahawks have 40 sacks overall, fourth most in the NFL, and they’re going to face Kurt Cousins. I mean, come on. He’s a statue back there. It’s just a great matchup for the Seattle Seahawks. So that’s why the the news of you guys just keeps getting better because it’s like, oh yeah, the Falcons because I think in our minds the Falcons are better than they are and they’re not. No, no, they’re not. Um, the Falcons are actually one loss away from matching a franchise record. Um, let me let me see if I can find this really quick for consecutive losing seasons. man, brutal. And then, um, the other thing, too, is that they don’t have a good special teams, Atlanta. So, it’s just a great matchup all around. This should be a win. And now, when you look around at the league and the playoff seedings and who’s getting in and the whole thing, Lions fan know all about it. The Lions are on the outside looking in. But when you look at it, all all the teams are playing each other and there’s just going to be chaos here for the last four or five weeks of the year. So when you get these when you get these ones that you can win or that should be wins, you you just you got to have them because if you look at this schedule, it gets real interesting real fast after this game. So you go to Atlanta. So it’s a road game in the National Football League. You just never know. However, got to have this one because then it’s Indie, Rams, Carolina, San Francisco. Those last four games, all playoff teams or potential playoff teams with Carolina. So, Atlanta, geez, look at look at your last I mean, Jacksonville’s doing really well. Houston’s doing really well. Washington’s Yeah, they suck. Arizona sucks. Tennessee sucks. Minnesota actually sucks. So, never mind. I thought I was going to roll on go on a roll here of like, man, look at what Seattle’s doing. You beat two good teams really. Um, and then the other four kind of suck, but who cares? Every team in this league has two games. It’s just like, whoops, that one got away from us. You know what I’m saying? Like, so so what I’m saying is if you to beat a Minnesota to beat the to beat Tennessee, um, just take it. You just take it and and move on. Yeah, you really put the nail in the coffin to the Minnesota Vikings. Thank you for doing that. because I’m like there’s no way Minnesota can be good, right? There’s no way. And then they kind of were for a second and then they beat the Lions when JJ McCarthy came back like four weeks ago and it’s like this is not good. Okay, he’s not good thankfully. All right, now let’s take a look at the um the playoff standings as they as they are right now. And you can see you’re in just great spot if you can win this week because it is a it is a it’s not a gimme, but you got to have it because if you go, like I said, if you go around the league and look at who’s got who and what’s going on. Take a look at this. Here you are at nine and three. Now you’re number one in the wild card. You can jump all the way to two or stay at five. If you win, you get a home playoff game. Otherwise, you’re in. But look at this. Look at the NFC, man. Everyone thought the AFC was awesome, right? With Ravens, Chargers, Bills, Chiefs. It’s like Bengals, Joe Burrow. It’s like, no, what are we doing? You know, what are we doing? Because really in the NFC you have the have halves and halves not. So it’s like they’re the Lions seven and five just two games out of the playoffs. Geez Louise. It’s a must win against Cowboys. Anyway, sorry. At the time of this recording, the Lions are about to play the Cowboys. Come on. I mean, come on. No one likes the Cowboys. People like the Lions, you know. It’s like Yeah. Now, if they keep winning and something like that and it’s like I could see it down the road, but but they got a long way to go. People don’t don’t like the Lions. No one likes the Cowboys. People like Seattle. I like Seattle. I don’t like the Rams. Arizona I don’t care about. And the Niners are like, whatever. You know, they were getting annoying there for a second, but then they’ve fallen off so far that you just don’t even don’t even care. So, if you are a Seattle Seahawks fan, you’re sitting there thinking to yourself, “Okay, hold on a second. We we made the right decision at quarterback. So you think of there’s three teams involved in your quarterback situation. The Raiders and the Minnesota Vikings and yourself, right? The Raiders get your quarterback that you used to have. He’s terrible. Minnesota decides to stay with JJ McCarthy and you get Sam Darnold. Two out of the three teams are in a terrible spot and you’re in a great spot. You trade away DK Metaf. You get picks. It’s like, well, I want to trade away DK Metaf. I think we got something with Jackson Smith and Jigua. do. Well, we are going to get um we are going to get defense ramped up. We’re going to get this head coach that’s kind of a defensive minded. Hope we can settle just settle the franchise down and just get us playing well and playing together. Yep. Yep. Check. Check. Check. Right. Everything that you’ve wondered about has come true all the way into the last third or last quarter of the season and the Seattle Seahawks are in a great spot.
