šØFalcons Fansā Worst NIGHTMARE Might Be Coming True In Latest ESPN Reportā¦
[Music] You know, today started so positively surrounding the Atlanta Falcons. They got some really good news around a really young player and then probably the worst news that I’ve heard all season from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. And trust me when I say this, I’m going to break it down for you. Falcons fans, welcome in to Falcons Today by Chat Sports. My name is Moose and on today’s show, we’re going to talk a little bit about my guy Xavier Watts from the University of Notre Dame, who I believe is going to be a top five safety at some point in his career, maybe even top three. But did you know he’s also top five in Pro Bowl voting? And then this ESPN’s Raheem update is all I’m going to say about that right now. And if you love what we do, if you love non-stop Atlanta Falcons content, do me a favor and smash that thumbs up icon today. Let’s start with the good news because I want to be a more positive guy surrounding our great players. Xavier Watts is an absolute dog. How do I know? Everybody else is noticing it as well as me. He is now top five in Probowl voting. This is now a very interesting Pro Bowl race because I do believe that he could be number one at some point if he continues his amazing play. Here is what atlant Falcons.com said about the unbelievable performances he’s had so far this year. Watts is an impact player because he takes the ball away. You want to talk about making an impact? Turnovers make an impact. Watts’s knock for creating turnovers is more than just talk. as he’s currently leading not only the Falcons in interceptions, but also all rookie safeties this season. Oh, by the way, it goes on further than that. He also leads his class in passes defended. Now, not to toot my own horn, but toot toot. I told everybody, I literally screamed from the mountain tops. I said, “Zavier Watts is a firstround talent. if you do not pick this guy in the first round, you better pick him in the second round. And nobody wanted to do that. And then the Falcons got smart and they said, “You know what? We’ll take a guy with first round talent in the third round. That’s called value.” Hello. And so far this year, Xavier has been nothing shy of just exceptional. I would like to see him play a little bit more at the line of scrimmage because he did it a lot at Notre Dame. Get a little bit of TFLs in there. Even send him on a blitz from time to time. 66 tackles though, seven PBUS, three INTs with a coverage grade of 70.2 among the very top of all safeties, not just rookies, safeties in the NFL. And if you were wondering who those Pro Bowl voters were for free safety in the NFL, here are the top five. Kevin Bard for the Chicago Bears notably is having one of the best seasons I’ve ever seen from a safety. Kaylin Bulock is also playing really well. Kirby Joseph, Evan Williams from the Packers, but not far behind him is Xavier Watts. Funny enough, Xavier Watts could be better than all of those guys at some point. I still can’t believe he fell to round three. I had said, and I’m going to say it again. I’m going to say it 85 more times to you. Wow. God, I cannot breathe right now. I’m getting a lot of the burp hiccups. Xavier Watts. When I saw him play at the University of Notre Dame, I knew he was going to be a top three to top five safety at some point in his career. There’s just way too much talent. He was easily the best defensive player on the University of Notre Dame, and it wasn’t even that close. So, to get him in the third round to one of my favorite teams, hell, my favorite team right now in the NFL, I was so excited. Now, brief time out there. Maybe not right now cuz they’re pissing me off, but you get my point. So, if you had to show some love to my guy Xavier Watts, do it by spamming those Watts down in the comment section. Let him know, let me know, let the world know that you support our guy Xavier and his amazing season and career yet to come. Now, the bad news. It’s from ESPN, Jeremy Fowler, who uh delivered what I like to call the worst nightmare for the Atlanta Falcons. And I’m going to touch on that in a little bit. But before I do, I got to tell you about our friends over at Factor. I’m not trying to be hyperbolic. This literally made my smile from Xavier Was’s news turn into a frown because Jeremy Fowler believes that there is an opportunity that the Atlanta Falcons keep Raheem Morris. Another man, excuse me, pause. Take two. Another name that is coming up in conversations, this is from Jeremy Fowler, by the way, is Atlanta’s head coach Raheem Morris, whose Falcons slid to 4-8 after a loss to the Jets. Would Falcons owner Arthur Blank be compelled to make a change after two disappointing seasons? What I have been told is that Blank respects Morris a lot, so I don’t expect a rash decision one way or the other. Any sort of inseason move would be a mild surprise from my view. While there’s at least some smoke around this job, this feels far from finalized. And Atlanta has enough talent to turn things around over the final five weeks. If Morris gets a third year, and that’s the kicker right there. If he gets a third year, I would expect more staff or coordinator changes. Special teams have been a liability and the offense has regressed despite playmakers on that side of the ball. So, what I took from that was Raheem might keep his job. Now, it doesn’t mean he’s going to keep his job, but it also doesn’t mean that he’s a guaranteed firing. And if you remember, a couple of weeks ago, CBS Sports came out and said, “Hey, there’s a lot of smoke around Raheem Morris’s job.” And now he’s saying, “Well, that might not be exactly true.” Now, ESPN, I should at least mention to you guys as a reminder, these NFL insiders don’t just make up. They get told information from the locker rooms that they cover, the organizations that they cover. Someone in that Falcons upstairs is saying that Raheem might keep his job. That’s the crazy thing to me. So that means on some level Arthur Blank and Terry Fontno and Rich McCay all view this as a coordinator problem, not a Raheem problem. The article goes on and this is what pissed me off more than anything. Fowler says that the expectations would be for a staff or coordinator change after the special teams proved to be a liability while the offense has regressed. Dude, who hired the staff? Like, how am I going in circles with this? Every single episode I make a new statement that is the exact same roundabout answer that you guys keep getting. fire Raheem Morris. So, I decided I’m going to make a pros and cons list. Let’s weigh what Raheem Morris has done as the Dirty Birds head coach. He hired Jeff Albrich. That’s a good thing. He picked a great 2025 draft class alongside Terry Fontno. That’s a good thing. He helped create a better defense. He does get credit for that. He hired Jeff Albrich. He has a hand in the defense. He’s a defensive head coach. He gets credit for that. But then there’s the cons, and they’re way more than the pros. A mismanagement of staff, Iillier. He hired Zack Robinson. That in and of itself is a joke. Clock management malpractice. How many times do we say take a timeout, Raheem, or what are you doing, Raheem? He’s terrible at the microphone. He gives that doofus coach speak. He’s got a lack of offensive development for Michael Penn Jr. in company. And he’s got more importantly a losing record. We’re remember he said yesterday at his press conference, “Winning is my job.” Well, you’re a shitty do you’re doing a shitty job of that, Raheem. The cons outweigh the pros. And if the cons outweigh the pros, relationship 101 tells you dump them immediately. Why are we still continuing to do this? Why are we continuing to make Raheem’s job look like it’s safe? Why on earth is he still employed? And why is it taking so long for this staff, this ownership group to realize what we all know? Raheem and Zack Robinson and Maris Williams and this entire coaching staff is not good enough to lead the talent that’s already on the roster. Period. That’s it. Before I take on off, what’s the likelihood that Raheem Morris coaches in Atlanta in 2026? Scale it one to five. I would have told you like five being like he’s staying, one meaning he’s going to be gone. If it was just two days ago, I would have told you it was a one. Now I’m thinking it might be a two or a three. I don’t know. I really don’t know. We’re going to have to see as the season goes along. That’s going to do it for us, Falcons fans. A reminder to hit that subscribe button, like today’s video. As always, rise up and be cool. [Music]
Atlanta Falcons news today is both good and bad for the dirty birds. Falcons Today host Trace Moustakas explores how the Falcons got a STEAL in the 3rd round of the 2025 NFL draft by selecting Xavier Watts. Watts is currently top 5 in NFL pro bowl voting for NFL free safeties. Moose claims that Watts is only tipping the Iceberg of what his talent can be for the Atlanta Falcons. The back half of the episode is dedicated to the bad news surrounding Raheem Morrisā job with the Falcons, and ESPNās Jeremy Fowler claiming there is a world in which Raheem stays as the Falcons head coach in 2026.

I love watts ā¤ā¤ā¤
we should lowkey just give our spot in the nfl to a rugby team they would be better lol
The Falcons have had the lead at the 2 minute warning at least 4/5 games and the defense hasnāt stopped anyone. If you want us to take you seriously. Be prepared and fair the defense is killing the Falcons.and you never say anything about it?
Got him and JPJ from that trade. I'd say we won that trade.

60%: Zac, 25%: the special teams guy, 15%: Raheem in my opinion 7:59
Ur right 8:22
Watts!
If Raheem wins a few at the end, he'll probably keep his job like Dan Quinn did the year before he got fired. Blank doesn't seem to learn.
Watts !!!!
Watts! Watts! Watts!
Mr Blank will get Raheem his 3rd year, because Mr Blank does not care if Falcons wins or lose.
Falcons arenāt even the best football team in ATLANTA and Raheem keeps his job? God I hope not
If Raheem stays for 2026 and Arthur Blank wants to prove the whole city wrong, I believe a large group of fans won't be going to the the stadium until something changes or until he actually proves the whole city wrong. In the meantime, pressure will build for him to sell the team.

Question hereā¦where the &$@ is the veteran Jessie Bates? I havenāt seen him on the field in awhile now. Ok so heās been out there just not jumping any routes
con: he hired the original DC, who had to be fired immediately.
4, Blank cares more about friendships. Winning doesn't matter to him hes still making millions
Your information is from Rich McKay
It's simple, Falcon fans. Quit watching them. Quit going to the games. As long as Morris is coach, I have cut them completely off.
I don't mind if Raheem is still the HC 2026 long as he fires Zac and hires a real experienced OC.
Again, Raheem is a DEI hire and he is going nowhere. He is protected. Blank doesn't care about losses. He's a billionaire for gosh sakes.
I will not watch this team as long as he is the coach cause its a waste of time. He will never win anything. The falcons are a good old boy organization. We hire our friends
Thatās bullshit
This organization is literally his ass
I will 100% quit this tram is Raheem returns.

#FIRERAHEEM THIS IS BULLSHIT!!!!!š£ļøš£ļøš£ļø
Idk if yall remember but the broncos I think it was hired a clock game manager. I think we should do this! If we keep morris, fire special teams and OC then I think weād be okay
Do these people NOT listen to his press conferences? He sounds like i did in school when i didn't do the work before a presentation. š
Iām 50 years old born and raised in Atlanta and although I donāt think Raheem is a good head coach, my problem with the Falcons coaching is it is all over the place. The franchise is shit. U canāt expect instant success. If I was a coach I u would have to give me a 10 year contract to even come here. We change too much. Get a coach and stick with him. Those tend to be the good franchises.
God…if he stays next year..I might have to burn all my jerseys…45 years of this shit, ARTHUR!!!!!!
Me and my brother in law were planning a ācoach releaseā party now disappointedly that celebration is out the door š„ŗš¢
Raheem Morris may not be a great coach, but he is a decent one.
Coming from someone who TRULY wanted to believe in Raheem, saying this season has been a disaster is an understatement. The only positive thing about keeping Raheem is trying to establish some consistency here. We canāt keep playing merry go round with different HCās every few years. So IF Coach Morris stays another season, he better make sure he gets a PROVEN OC and Special Teams coordinator because the fanbase will not be sold at the outset. Theyāve gotta prove it to the fans first.
I will be ending my falcons fandom if he stays
Its a good deal if you say pick em but when Terry picks him its bad
If they keep Morris , I want to be traded
Blank will wait until season is over. He respect everyone anyways.
He should be gone !!! especially after losing to the Jets ! get him out of ATL !
What happened to the other person that did this show he was better
Start a petition and get all 100 falcons fans to sign it and maybe Arthur will listen.
I've been saying all along Raheem will not be fired. He's going to replace Robinson. Another losing season and he's gone. So Another year of this craziness
My chest…this is government driven. The powers that be want to wipe out the demographic that cheers for the falcons by cardiac arrest. Blank is an informant. Another year with Heem faaaaak
If the Falcons keep Raheem…I will not be watching any Falcons football next year and I hope others boycott the Falcons!!!
What up Reid! What up moose! š«
I bet they will change OC and it will make Raheem look like he is a great HC! …… Moose #Falcons would you be more comfortable with Zac robinson or Raheem calling the offensive plays?? reason i ask is I feel like they might fire Zac and Raheem takes over with play calling until a new OC comes in.
