I absolutely love Joel and AD’s banter

  1. I could not survive this time without them, and I think that covers pretty much all of us

  2. Antonio is great with Rob Perez. They have a daily show called Give & Go on NBA Radio (Sirius XM) (Antonio is a LeBron glazer, so don’t listen if you don’t want to deal with that)

  3. Not a Pels fan but tune into the these guys and the Hornets frequently on league pass just for the commentary ✌️

  4. Hawks fan here (coming in peace, of course). I have been watching a lot of Pels games on League Pass for unsavory shameful reasons this year and I gotta say that I think they’re the best announcing crew in the NBA. There is no bullshit; they don’t sugarcoat what’s happening; they talk about the game at a high level. I actually, you know, **learn about basketball** watching them. It has made me feel bad that I have to root against you guys this year. They’re great.

  5. I’m a secondary fan (Knicks fan with a brother in NOLA) and I tune in regularly because of these 2 dudes.

I think I got spoiled having my Knicks duo of Mike Breen and Clyde Frazier, because I legit can’t stand most banter – as a musician, I watch most games on MUTE and practice instead – but I will ALWAYS tune in for Joel and AD. They are genuinely fantastic.

And similar to my Clyde & Breen, I love that AD & Joel actually try to EXPLAIN basketball to the viewer – and they ALWAYS tell it like is. Despite a clear and genuine love for the dudes, there’s absolutely no homer bias nonsense.

I get so sick of the same old ‘Well if the ball went in, then they’d have scored and they would be winning, Greg’ – like no shit dude. Or the ‘No WAY are they calling that a FOUL! Come ON refs!’ right after Draymond stomped someone in the chest. AD & Joel will explain basketball, keep it extremely welcoming and entertaining, while also keeping it REAL.

Here’s to hoping better days are on the horizon
