    Davion-Norm-Wiggins-Giannis-Bam is a fantastic starting unit. Keeping Dru-Pelle-Jamie-Jovic helps us have a functional bench (until the next trade is made).

    We’d still have $9.8m under the tax, so we can definitely go get a back-up C.

  10. For a player of Giannis level it’s insane people wouldn’t do this trade.

    I think it’s pretty fare, and would instantly make the Heat a true contender in the East.

    And I’d be really curious to know who’s beating this package as well? I think the Hawks could, but probably wouldn’t. Outside that I’m not seeing it

  11. My thing is is I am attached to this team yes. On paper, I can understand the trade, however, Gianni’s has been injured more than ever before the last two seasons and his game has not shown any signs of consistent floor spacing or non reliance on athleticism.

    We’d have to win within two years before it starts to be an issue.

  21. I love Ware, I think he will be great some day. But it’s not guaranteed. Giannis is him. I would definitely include Ware in a trade. Have to give up to get a player of Giannis caliber

  22. We aren’t getting Giannis without Herro, Ware, and one more young player Jaimie at worst or Pelle at best; maybe KJ (pg) too; AND all the picks + rozier. Maybe Jovic too.

    I don’t wanna do all that but I know Pat is thinking about it. I don’t see the Heat gutting their roster after where they finally got it to a place they really like while keeping their draft capital (sans hornets pick)

  24. Davion/wiggins/giannis on paper looks a lot like jrue/middleton/giannis. And thats before you factor in Bam and Norm. Obviously you take that trade if its available, but im not gonna lose sleep if we dont land him.

  25. I would trade Bam and picks if they were to do that. Honestly is what makes most sense. Bam and Giannis really make no sense together.
