Kraken vs. Oilers | NHL Highlights | December 04, 2025

are suiting up in the same game this year. We’re
underway with McDavid winning the opening draw. Booard to an offbalance echol as your Oilers
starting lineup nurse. I agree. And that’s building building on games. Right. Here’s Ma cuts
in, shoots, and scores. And that’s massive for Mapani. His first goal in 14 games, his fifth of
the year. And Edmonton gets on the board early. Pan was still alive. What a shot by Mapanati. He
rips this one. Good transitional play. Nurse up the wall and then here’s the rip. And I mean for
Henrique, he had the best look at this. He didn’t think this went in. We’ll keep an eye on it here.
Bar down. Tell you, I don’t see the line. Henrik could have fired this one. He had it in the slot,
but everybody was celebrating in the corner. Are we going to tell Are we going to be able to tell
Louis whether it breaks the plane? Not on that. That’s the thing. See, it bounced. to bounce right
before the second post. Here’s a pretty good look right here. Does it break the plane? I don’t
think it does. It doesn’t break the plane. No way. After the video, the puck does not completely
cross the goal line there. There’s no breakers looking to create a threeon two the other way.
McDavid and New set by Bart nearly 96 miles an hour. New Jan Hopkins to McDavid. Shot score. That
one will count and Edmonton this time takes a one- nothing lead. McDavid’s 12th reunited with
Nanopus and that combo lights the way. Pick the corner on this one. McDavid again. Good
activation by to keep it alive on the first attempted shot. And then it’s just the forche.
Turn a puck over. Possession for the Kraken. Little bit of a bobble will cost him here on this
turnover. Once it gets back over to McDavid off the stick of Newton Hopkins shot mentality, we’ve
talked about it early. That by challenging it, it stays as a goal. Power play, it
can turn the game instantly. Don’t mind that from L’s play. Here’s a swinging
one time and scores. Two nothing Edmonton. Dry’s almost a decoy now and Pod Coulson is
starting to move into that spot. We’ve seen him one timing pucks more regularly. He gets in
the spot. Tell you, rubbing off Dry Sidle on Pod Coulson. He finds him with a beautiful pass.
I mean, that is just some nifty work by Dry Saddle navigating through the middle of the back
across the grain. And it doesn’t necessarily take a perfect shot. This one goes off the inside
of the right pad of the court and finds its way across the line. They’ve been a whack-a-ole
team offensively. A drive by Ekhol went right to McDavid. Shot tipped and then nudged wide by Nan
Hopkins whose initial tip is the second lowest in the league. He’s fourth at even strength. But
a save percentage on the PK is less than 77%. Faceoff win for McDavid. Booard and New Hopkins.
McDavid back door scoron tric settle three nothing Edmonton pouring it on here in the first typical
characters for Edmonson short work on this power play good faceoff win by McDavid quickly back
down low from Nent Hopkins as Bousard takes to the middle back to Nent Hopkins down low to
McDavid this is a hard hard pass over to Dryidle but he’s ready for it set play in the back of the
Goender Calvin Picker. Montour has to fall back. Kako to Kat. Kako puts it across. One-time Montour
might have broke his stick. Here’s a drive and Ellie Tolvenan blasts one in. Power play goal.
Seattle Kraken. Tolvenan has always been able to shoot it. That’s his fourth. A bounce off the
shin pad Coulson who’s down in the middle of the ice trying to block this one. And it goes right to
Tolvin for the one-time. Good movement here by the Crackers. That broken shot right there that kind
of rolls into Pod Coulson. He’s expecting a blast here. All of a sudden, it goes off of his skate.
The reaction quick by Tolvin into one time this one. And that’s exactly what it does. I believe
it was Montour with the one-time opportunity that brings out the way this first period has come to
an end. What a pass by Dryside though. I mean, that was right on the table. 35 seconds left in
the frame. Oh, here’s a turnover by DO back score. And just like that, Seattle has real life. Freddy
Gadro first goal as a member of the Kraken and suddenly it’s 32 with a nice reaction to get down.
Take that away. Good defensive play. Looks like it’s out of harm’s way, but it’s Gro punch his
way through there and just steals the puck. So, a quick little turnover right here. Bang. Gdro
gets in. Quick stick and then he goes right to the backhand in tight. I mean did he ever bring
which is really just a positional cross check to keep him to the outside. A tough one quickly
swept away. Savoy from Booard walks in back. Score that one. Savoy converts. Shorthanded goal. 42
Edmonson. Find your way. You need to start to see that puck go in the net. Good winger win here,
Henrik. The centerman comes back and battles for this puck. And then Bruce Shard with a beauty of
a pass onto the tape. Lots of time. Head up. Fake a little shot. The flare of the pads go down and
he goes upstairs right there. That quick little fake gets to Cord to go. Carson gives him a look.
Hopkins one-time dry. Save the court. Rebound play back behind McDavid over to Dutle. Bouncing puck.
Finally coraled. 25 seconds on the man advantage. Booard McDavid shot and score completely full.
Joey Dord and Edmonson extends to a 52 lead and it’s just a quick release but it’s a recovery
first. The one-time by Dryson. Looked like Seattle was going to come out with possession but
it’s McDavid with the out works. I believe Lexiak in the corner to keep it alive and then once he
gets the puck with speed on the wall when he’s attacking from wall to net he can make so many
plays from this position. His number one target is obviously that guy back door Leon Dryidle but a
little fake and then he just zips this one through that quick release. Seattle was starting to take
it over. They came out in the second period here and had the the better shift to start things off.
Short-handed goal. Another opportunity coming into the net back score. 62 Edmonton and the
Oilers run the Kraken right out of the building. Big goal for Zack Heyman, too. The first one
that he’s put in the net off of his stick this season. Missed a ton of time with that broken
hand for the playoffs here. And he just put this in high gear. We’ve seen him drive this puck
down the right hand side a couple times. He was not going to be denied on this one. He knew he
had the inside track. Little forehand backhand elevation. Sparing playing time this year for
Seattle as he looks to kind of rediscover the form he showed in Colorado. Centering pass net
rebound score and Jared McCann cuts it to 63. And another guy coming off of injury and just
trying to find his game too. We talked about it. a team that’s offensively starved and
he’s getting his game going too. Starting to feel it the last few games and he’s such a
dangerous player and this is a little turnover. Quick little transition boom and Mac’s always
been one of those players never been afraid to shoot. He just sweeps this in one motion and
zips it home. The shot by Beners off the pads of Picker. It somehow goes through Echol and McCann’s
right there waiting for it to shovel it home. This is a little better start to this period
for they come out skating, driving to the net and looking for more instead of sitting back
trying to maintain the lead. A turnover that kick redirected and then pumped home on the
rebound by Matias Yandmark. And there it is, his first goal in 42 regular season games.
And this is just a good line change by the Evston owners. Quickly get right back
on the for kind of taking his time here. Little mishandled in the corner though. That’s
the turnover right there. It’s Yanmar who’s in that spot to pick the puck up. Little funnel down
to Majapani who thought he was off the schneide in the first period when he went bar down far and
picker able to kick it away. Excuse me. That was Winterton on the backside. Dropped past McDin
shoots against Grub. Rebound fired home from a sharp angle and there’s the hattick for Conor
McDavid. number 13 of his career. 83 Edmonson, maybe third. He jabbed away on a couple, missed
the net on one, but he’s been around it. And this chance by Nan Hopkins, I mean, Grubau sold
out on that one because he did so hard. Well, this puck comes around to McDavid. The
net’s wide open. I mean, he gets this puck and Grubau just wasn’t there to react. And
again, just the heady play by McDavid. Majapani switches with that goal. One timer. That
was wild by Gruba. 5 seconds left in the two man. Shot coming to San rebound. Savoy
slams home. The ninth goal of the evening. He got publed a few times. He had to give
it back to Larson here a couple times. Says, “Yeah, I’ve taken enough. I’m giving it back.”
He’s going to get worked over again here. You’re going to see as this puck comes to the net,
but in this scrum in the battle right there, he takes a pretty good shot afterwards. That
little tiny pass after the shot by a cop fend it off with the blocker of group hour. It’s Henrique
with a little tap and he tap over to some boy who was just waiting for this one. Thank you very
much. His second of the game David on to Kulak angled ahead. Here’s Matias and Mark and he fell
out and that might have been Ev’s last gas at 10. Looks like it’s safe for another night. Newman
dropping off for Gecko. Right. A shot. Kicks in. Rebound stuffed home by Newman with less than 5
seconds to go. Yannotti Newman will account for the final margin at 9 to four against Evans.
Probably because he’s seen him more than any other team in his early NHL career. But he’s a
big guy and he’s injected back in the lineup. the injury to Schwarz with Marchman not being
able to play in this game tonight and this is what he’s expected to do. He has a nose around the
net. It’s late but that’s a good sign for a young player 21 years old right to the dying seconds of
the game. He buries his fourth goal of the season. He had not had a point in his previous
nine outings and in fact had been scratched in eight of the last
