Penguins vs. Lightning | NHL Highlights | December 04, 2025
Hegel not bad either. How about six goals in his
last eight games and away we go. Faceoff sponsored by Rooms to Go. At the top of your screen, you’re
going to see the starting lines sponsored by Advent Health. This one dumped all the way down
the ice. Retrieving it is Gergensson’s out of the corner. Back towards the net and Jarry
squeezes the pads on that one and keeps it out. Puck picked up by Hegel. They’ll steer it
back for Darren Radish. Radish up the boards. Chipped in the middle by Coov. And here’s a break.
Here goes Heaggel. He is sucked by Charlie on the hottest goal score right now for the Lightning.
Wrap. Let’s go Hegel. Nobody even in the picture till the last second. The five hole was there.
And then Gage Gonzalez in the corner getting leaned on there. Picked up by the Penguins.
M. Here’s a drive and a save made by Yiannis Hawson and Parker Wtherspoon. Carlson is such a
good skater and always so aware. Here’s Kra with a shot. Saved by Jarry and he gets the rebound in
his glove. Penguins dump it in the Lightning zone trying to work it back to the line. They do. Shay
across. Here’s Latang. His drive punched down by Johansson. Rebound picked off by Hegel and away
come the Lightning through center. Dropped off for Kudra. Kudra drops it back. Shot saved by Jari
again who’s made a couple of real excellent stops. Same thing up in the slot. Then coming back the
other way. Lightning with a terrific set up by guess who? Cooer up. Penguins were three for
four against the Flyers the other night. And here’s another break. Sean had it going in and
Jarry kicks that one out. Ends up near side with Novak. Chris Lang gives it up to the rookie Koven.
Back to Latang. Watch the line. Looks Kvenan in. Takes the shot and scores. And it’s another power
play goal for the Penguins. And that’s the first career goal for Billy Kovven. This happens so
often in the National Hockey scoring champion which the Lightning have had. A couple of big
time saves by the goalender. And don’t forget, yeah, it’s still on the power play. Johansson’s
in good position there. Maybe a bit of a screen. Watch Johansson. Yeah, part of the reason was
the screen in front of him as he looks down and to his right. Watch Johansson. He looks down and
to his right. Quan in really intelligent shot. Where did twice at 97 mph that pass picks off.
30 seconds to go in this man advantage. Here come the Penguins. Short-handed Russ hits the post. Oh
man, the chances in this game. They’ll step back inside the line. Hegel puts it across wide open
across. Oh, what a save by Jerry. Absolutely rock. Another cross ice pass picked off and skated away
by the Penguins. Back up they come shortanded in and hidden with a drive and a save made by Johass
again. Games against the Lightning because he was in good position and he stole that cross ice pass
from Nikita Cucher. Really well done by Radish. Measure the guys. Kendall’s a rookie. I don’t know
him. Okay, kid. You could take the shot. Plus, he’s being pressured from behind. There’s no
way that cross ice go trying to go cross ice. That’s picked off by Carlson. Carlson read
that carries in. He centers it and Johansson had to make a save on Kevin Hayes. The stew
shovels a backhander across to Littleberg. Lillberg dishes off in quarters. It’s given
up to Malin. And Kenny Malin is in. Scores. That guy is not going to miss a chance like that.
And it is two nothing Penguins. Not many guys can make a move like this. either in areas where he
can get offensive chances. He knows he reads the play there. He sniffs it out. He just have to
get it off the wall and he knows he’s free and clear all the way to the net. This is super
slow-mo. But look at that little fake there. You don’t know if he’s going to go to his backand
so it freezes Johansson for a second. Then once Johansson opens up a second. Smooth. And they
lose that one. Penguins set up again. moved into the corner. Rosie gets it back to Malin.
There’s a shot tipped and they score. Blast from Carlson and the tip in front I believe by Kindle.
Rusk was there as well. And now it’s going to be Kindle the kid. They’ve got two goals from rookies
tonight. And it is three nothing Penguins. Yeah, it starts with the faceoff win again. And
Carlson winds up with a big heater there, but this one is a shot pass all the way.
Kendall’s there. is well positioned. The Lightning D have to choose between three guys
in scoring position. And because of that, Kendall gets left open. You go to Crosby,
you shade towards him. That’s smart. You take a look on the outside, that’s Russ. Yeah,
that’s smart. At home against the Islanders with a shot, rebound, bounces right back to the
Lightning. And here’s Gensel. Gensel wide on Shay. Hangs on it. gets it to Radish. Radish weaving
his way in. Pulls it in front. Coojov scores. Great pass from Radish. Coov taps it home
and the Lightning are on the board. This is really smart. I’m not going to beat this
guy one-on-one. It’s a self chip. He beats the defenseman to the puck. Radish is coming
up on the play. And how about the confidence of Darren Radish compared to the first eight or
10 games of the season. Watch this little move. Whoops. Beautiful. Hangs on to it. Cucharov only
half covered. Gets inside position. Darren Radish pulls up. Dead even right now at 50%. England
trying to get a hold of that puck off the draw, but it’s going to be kept in by
Radish. Slides it across to Cutra. Fifth power play of the game for the Lightning.
There’s a shot. Scores. Brandon Hel gets one to go and it’s a onegoal game. He’s earlier in the
game. Hasn’t had many since. This cross pass is off the wall. It’s airborne. Get a really smart
reaction. Let it go past you. Take it off the wall. Cut has to make it airborne in order to
get it by a couple of Pittsburgh Penguins. And that super slow-mo doesn’t do justice to how much
zip he had on this shot. That is sheer perfection. Wheels it back. Hangs on out of big save by Char
on Bjö. He’s done that more often over the last handful of games. He likes to hang around by
the faceoff dot, but it makes it more compact and makes it more difficult to find the seams
and for other guys to get open. But when he drifts up high to control it near side again
into the middle down was right there. Yeah, take the stick away from me. The first one
fans, he’s under pressure. Rolls off the heel. It goes right to Gensel. Good’s going to
happen for Dash, too. Here’s Min save Johansson, but a penalty call coming up. It’s going to be a
hook combined and the Pens have control. There’s Molin on the drive rebound. Johansson comes
across and makes a big save on Brian Rust. Really has to make a quick move to his side. Malin
off the face off going to get it. And then, yeah, Rust coming to the net. That’s a tough save
for the Penguins. Novak does not get a clean entry. Taken away by Hegel. He’s a Vice. Hegel
in. Shoots. Stopped by Jerry. Rebound. He got that too. Into the freez. It’s a smok and hot
pass. Can’t be handled. Later. Same sequence. Brandon Hegel who had almost James goes riick
wide to Coutron into the middle. He goes, gets all the way across. Hands Croer. And a
save by Chari again. What a chance for Max Croer. Cory Van digs it out. another turned it
over and the pass attempt to Gonzalz never got there. Now he’s got it again. Here’s Hegel. He’s
in. He scores. Brandon Hangel has tied the game. Couple of weeks he was not going to be denied.
He’s already screamed one into the top shell. His legs never stop moving. Always in good position.
Reads the play. Gets open. Gonzalez keeps the puck alive along the wall. And Hegel in behind the
defense. Such patience. Super slow-mo. Waits for the goalender to go down. The perfect shot in
the crook of the arm up under the crop ball. 3-3 tie. And this place is bumping on a that went off
a skate. It’s going to be picked up by Carlson. Carlson lobs this one all the way down.
Batted down by Duo. Ends up with Mantha. The Gib and they score. A broken play that’s
finished off by a Getty Malin. And the Penguins have the lead back. Mulan does it again. It’s
unfortunate this long pass that’s in the air. So he can’t control it. It goes off of Malin and
Malin just that great scoring sense. Just finds the open space. There’s the lob play. Now watch
what Malcolin does. He’s on the move. So I’ll just feel my way into an open spot. And that is a
heck of a play. A heck of a pass pass by. Novak. Who knows that if Genny Malin is just going
to find an open area there and waits. Here’s Radish. Here’s Kra with a shot save. Rebound. And
that is blocked in front. They battle the loose puck. Picked up by Gord again. Scrambled little
puck comes in the line held by Dat Stew’s cards right in front. Hegel gets it back to Stew.
Gets it right back. Ends up with Ravage to Kra scores. Na Kov has tied it again. A brilliant
shot again. Kush must be up to about 17 attempts on net now. I’ve never seen him shoot so much
in a game. Love watching it. And this shot is pure perfection. He’s taken so many one-times.
That’s like a double clanker off the near side post. Radish has been such a threat from up top.
After reviewing the play, it was determined that there was a hand pass at 107. Therefore,
the call is overturned. We got no goal. Bradish up ahead into the no. He’s in.
Conser stopped by Jerry. We rebound goes into the corner. Wallace. Whoa.
They almost got it from a sharp angle. Here’s another tip on the far side.
That doesn’t go. They try to jam it out in front and the Pittsburgh Penguins
are going to hang on. What a wild

Jarry was so good
Was tuning in and out and it got really close towards the end. Shame they called 4-4 off for lightning
Pittsburgh 👍 penguin
The call at the end was dumb, is went off hangles arm not hand pass.the situation room should be movedto the US
Tampa skated circles around us. The pens won because jarry bailed them out for the first ~39 minutes
Jarry was possessed 👻
Prime Geno!! 🔥
Go Pens!
Congrats on your first NHL goal Ville!!🎉
Jarry was a much better goaltender than his opponent. Deserved the win. Pens are terrible and outgunned but they score PP goals and have great goaltending.
Can we see the hand pass?
Why would you not include the fight ? Know your audience. You don’t need to sanitize everything.
They didin't show the Imama beatdown
Hagel battling for that spot on the Olympic team!
Angry Gina is best Gina.
TRADE JARRY
Неужели у Тампы опять кризис ?Только недавно набрали хороший ход ,и вот второе поражение подряд .Команде надо побыстрее выбираться из этой ямы ,ведь это им по силам .
The no goal call for a handpass was complete BS. Put a black mark on an otherwise great game by both teams.
Title could've had "Stanley cup playoffs round x" and I wouldn't know the difference. Intense af game.
Thank you Tristen Jarry!
This is definitely up there as one of the craziest games of the season so far for me. Felt like a playoff game
Jake Guentzel still hurts!
There were a lot of pens fans there
That was one of the best hockey games of the year!
Нихрена наши зажгли
Malkin is 39 years old and he still brings his A game every night. He’s another Jagr.
