Rangers vs. Senators | NHL Highlights | December 04, 2025

a little bit tougher to focus and settle into.
Ottawa opens up a three-game home stand tonight with her first of three meetings against the
New York Rangers this evening. As Clare Hannah mentioned, the hottest team on the road right
now as Michael Amanio brings it in deep for Ottawa. Tried for a pass out in the slot. He
goes circuit. Spence has really settled in and there’s been an offensive force, but he uses
his speed to his advantage. On the far side, looking for a chance in front. Carolina makes
the save. Sam Carrick with an opening chance. starts right from behind the net. A little touch
play and Carrick is going to get inside position and Jensen takes away the redhot on the road.
They lead the league in road wins 54 goals for the most tied for the most on the road as well.
Studa protects finds the blue line. It’s Pato from the blue line to pick up the chance down low.
Just the second game at home in the Canadian Tire Center tonight. Bounce the other way. JT Miller
with Benagan. Miller to his advantage and he scores and the Rangers open the scoring tonight
in Ottawa. Transition play is covering on top but gets caught in between. A good play by JT Miller
to pop himself the puck between his legs and then Zabanagad gets available. Matten Powell is going
to shrink the zone. Snutza is covering up but he’s late on the play as Miller has speed through the
middle of the ice. He gets it over to Zabanagad. and he puts it underneath the bar. Visiting this
arena so the Rangers take the lead early in the first period. Sanderson looks for an option now
low on net. It will go makes the save as PL gets tied up front. Troche drops middle drags it back
and a shot stopped by Sanderson on the inside of his skate. Now a strike pass is Brady Kachchuck
looking for the equalizer stop by Shurkin followed up and an even better save. Igor Sturken denies
Pari in his first period. A stretch pass right through the middle of the ice. The truck tries
to go five hole quickly and then tries to jam it in. Sister Sturken’s able to keep it out. Dylan
Cousins finds him through the seam. Truck tries to elevate it then five hole as Sturken fights
that one off. Back in the lineup with the Rangers his sixth game this season. Samson into the near
corner. Spence from the blue line hoping to find the rebound to Surfin will make the save in the
corner. Bther leaves it for Cousins to take the body. Seems to lead his team and hits. Cousins now
out in front. It’s Bson delay. Delay with great patience off the post. It will go get the puck
and then looking for options. Got to get through the body through the body and he rips it right
off the the post as he’s able to find a lane. Great look from Drake Berson. will try again
now in the high slot. Finds Matt and Paulo in another shot. Rebound is there. The Rangers are
able to clear it. Aba trying to beat Kachchuck. Lava cuts back. Top of the circles. Starts the
cycle. Schneider to Gabricov. He steps down. He scores. Backto back goals for Gabricov. And it’s
two nothing for the Rangers. Stop back. Looking for options. Chuck’s going to be physical. Then
the cycle and then the pass to the middle and watch Gabricov walk right downtown and he’s
able to beat Levy Marilyn and over the glove gets a little time and space and then a slight
screen as well. Marilyn goes down and goes up and the Rangers have a a two nothing lead here in the
first 10 minutes of the first period. Fabric three goals in his last four. Patterson finds a way to
get it deep in Clayton’s territory off the glass. Sherkin will play the puck. Patterson has a lane
drops it off. Per delay shot again off the post. Make a two for Ottawa. A game of inches tonight
in the first period. Well, they’ve generated some chances. Another one here. Bath will float
it on net. Cousins stops back. It’s pinned by Borgan. Finds Bath. Strong cycle again from
Ottawa. Path up and down. Stroche trying to find an outlet pass. Cycles down to P off to Btherson
again off the glove of Shurkin. This line has had their chances all around it. Here’s a terrific
chance. He’s going to get in the middle of the ice. Try and go back far side and Shurkin gets a
big chunk of it. Gets taken by Gilbert along the boards. Up against Carrick in the near corner.
Carrick works it down low. Rangers now up high. calls for it. Shot here. Blocked off the signature
room. Another chance. Marilyn’s looking for it and it lands on top of the net. Moves ahead. Holiday
is able to keep it in. Steven Hall has some time on net and will go. Shusten makes the save.
Aden Zerland gets the red line and sends it in. Under five to go in the first period. Two
nothing for the Rangers. Carl finds some room. Comes off the wall and lets the shot go. A save
made by Shisturken. Loose puck. Afraneir comes away with it off the backhand and a quick pass
and Zan’s now at center. Goes oneon-ree. Opts to flip it in on nets and Marilyn will choose
to hold on. I think this is the type of start that they can settle back in and get some points
here tonight. Is out shooting the Rangers in this first period. As you get noticed now, Shinto
not on the bench from Cousins. Cousins now in the slot. Another shot. He scores. Dylan Cousins
brings Ottawa to life. [Music] [Applause] [Music] This is a perfectly placed shot. All starts
with winning a draw. Get it back. Now watch over to Bathson. A little backhand play into
Cousins. So Cousins is going to take that puck, protect it as Savannah Jed was right there.
Turns and fires. Uses the defender as a screen. Shurkens late on the play, but
this is a great view of it as he puts it right inside the post. Looking to close
out this first period on a high note for Ottawa. Lava to Bard looking for a centering
pass. Capric settles it along the blue line. Tipped in front. Meline and stretches out
in time as Will Culie was right there. Jabont remains sideline. Cousins looking for
the strut pass. Zetterland to Brady Kachchuck. On netto will go. An early save from Shurken.
Sends back on their heels here as the Rangers are quicker to pucks all around. Bonzinski to
the blue line. Mororrow steps down to centering slot and a stop by Marina and somehow some
way Robinson. An excellent up by Marilyn. Robertson takes his time far side from Rosinski.
Pearl challenges him. Rangers back to the middle of the ice. Robertson delays. Reverse pass down
deep in Ottawa zone. Plays a body. Uber Jensen getting hemmed in their own end. So they’ll pop it
up high to center ice. They’re trying to relieve a little pressure as Gilbert’s able to get off, but
Nick Jensen still caught out there on the play. Back to the blue line. Susie Morgan has some
time. takes a shot. They score. Tipped in front. It’s 3-1 for New York. Low to high.
Dto D. Watch the traffic in front. I don’t think that’s going to be a high stick. I
think that’s a potential redirect in front as Borggan’s going to throw it towards the net.
They haven’t been touched at the final moment, but at this time, looks like Borggan
will get credited. Oh, yeah. That’s Yeah, that’s a straight shot that just goes through the
body of Carolina. Challenged by Cousins. working along the blue line. Brady Kachchuck breaks
has Dutil with him. A twoon one unfolding for Ottawa. Kachchuck sto by Shusturkin. High quality
chance off a turnover by Christian Susi elects to keep as he got lane. Cousins steals it back
to Jensen has a lane. Nick Jensen shot on net. Shurka with the save. Tim Stol stopped by the
glove of Igor Shurkin. DD on the play. Thrown down to the front of the net. Rebound’s going to
come off of Shurkin. is able to seal the ice and Path trying to elevate it on the short side.
Mr. Sturkin rips that out of the air and gets the whistle. That second period there wasn’t
a lot going on for the waits out the pressure stretch pass. Britney Kachchuck a twoon one
unfolding. It’s Duda all alone stopped by Shirkin as Dutler goes all the way into the net.
But that play Sanderson touched the Zetterland and then Kachuk to Stutzland. He gets all of
it as well. He tries to elevate this puck and Shurken rips it out of the air and the presence
of mind to keep that glove in front of him as Stutler goes heavy into him. Just a great A chance
and a great A save by moves it back to center. JT Miller quick on the transition. In comes the
Rangers. Carolina top of his crease with another big save down low for Bath. Kach’s net front.
Student approaches. It’s Sanderson now with the lane. He will look to pass it off for Stuts
on the far side. Reverse pass. And Sanderson Kachet one time shot redirected. They score
off of Bath and Ottawa’s within one. [Music] is moving the puck around to get the top
of the umbrella through the tostla back to the point over to Kachchuck and it’s
a favorable bounce we’ll call it. He goes to short hop this or pinch down on the stick
and get everything he can on it and it hits Drake Bath on the back door as he’s being boxed
out and he takes the redirect as Robertson is still averaging a point a game this season off
the face off winds and fires off the stick of Shurken and tries to keep it in right off the
draw. You’re the key to winning a draw in the offensive zone. Tim Stutler takes a little ice
to the middle. Great look from Martendi Paneran holding it at center. Paneran scoops it up
alone on three off the post line and swats it to the corner. Four goals over the course of
the road trip. By Kachchuck walks in Kachchuck to center a shot stopped by Shurken. Final
minute to go in the third period. The Rangers now Paneran shot can’t get off. Back to the blue
line. Snider Katrocha pulls it into the slot. Paneran on net. It will go. An empty net goal
for the Rangers for their fourth of the night. Bad angle. They move the puck around
and he’s going to roll his wrist for the last second and fire five hole on Jake
Sanderson. The Rangers get a an empty net to ice the game with 44 seconds left. Shiner
finds Miller. Looks to wind down the clock. Ottawa in their return home come up short
to the New York Rangers who take it 42

  1. I'm calling it right now. Ottawa isn't making the playoffs this year. Our defense is non existent too many nights, our PK is down right embarrassing and our goalies are sieves.

  2. Очень тяжёлая победа .После сирены игроки Рейнджерс ,наверное ,выдохнули и сказали :"Слава Богу что всё закончилось" .Заработаны очень нужные очки .И Гавриков потихоньку растёт как игрок .
