He’s Getting MUCH Better..
Last night, the Canadians were hosting the Jets, but the big storyline hitting into this one is that it was Andre Marov night at the Bell Center. Look at that. The general was in the building. It was a bit of a touching ceremony. Marov, of course, played up to 16 seasons with the Montreal Canadiens, a total of 990 games. He didn’t get that final contract, which would have brought him up to a thousand. still boggles my mind to this day, but it was nice to see him and his family back in the building. He got his nice little ovation. He definitely deserved it. On to the game we go. And this game review is brought to you by the good folks over at Mirage Trading. And at mirage.com, you can buy hockey cards, baseball cards, Pokemon cards, all kinds of neat little Christmas gifts to put under that Christmas tree. I know Santa Claus can get his fingertips on pretty much anything these days, but one thing you can’t get at the North Pole are young gun scars. If you want to get them, you got to get them at Mirage. And you can find their links in the description of today’s video. So, here we go. Dolby is between the pipes for the Habs. Eric Comry for the Jets. The puck is dropped. And we didn’t really get to see a whole lot of action during the first five minutes of this hockey game, did we? It almost felt like everybody was about to fall asleep or something. But eventually when this game does start to open up, two of these goenders, they begin putting on a show out there. Jaden Strobball rings one off the post. These Jets defenseman, they look they look terrible for some reason. It’s like a big pizza distribution factory out there right in their own zone. But you see, luckily for them, this Eric Cartman guy just so happens to be the greatest goender who ever lived all of a sudden. It was incredible to watch. He was great out there. Jakob Dish as well looked like a a completely different person than we saw a couple of nights ago against the Colorado Avalanche. Eventually, we get a tough between Arby and Lowry. That’s the the second time these two guys went at it. Arby was pumped. Okay, he got the jackhammer going, avenging his teammate Kier, who got hit by Lowry just seconds before this fight happened. It looked like he pushed him down an invisible flight of stairs or something. It was a weird looking hit. And just when it looked like this period was about to remain scoreless. Well, well, well, well, well. Look who it is. It’s public enemy number one. Mark Shley. He puts the Jets on the board with just 85 seconds left on the clock. What a shot. He’s got that that dirty looking Amber Alert mustache going on even even in December for some reason. But it’s a onegoal game after a pretty even first period. And now we’re going to move on to the dreaded second period where the Canadians have looked like pure ass for the majority of the season. However, plot twist. You see, last night’s second period, it it actually didn’t go too bad. The boys, they still seem to have a little more fuel left in the tank, which is surprising, you know, considering their schedule lately. They keep chipping away. They keep firing pucks towards Eric Hartman until eventually an opportunity presents itself when former Hebs legend Tanner Pearson gets himself into a little penalty trouble for this slash on Lane Hudson. Tanner, you can’t be doing that. That’s our boy. You should be aware of this stuff. Now the Habs do make him pay with Yuri Slavkowski beating Camry Glove side. It was a nice little setup. I like that one. That’s goal number nine now this season for Slavowski. But unfortunately on the very next shift, Montreal gets caught in their own zone. Slavowski’s out there again. He doesn’t even have a stick. He’s just hammering away out there, guys. Just trying to get the puck out of the zone. But after a solid minute of zone time, Connor for the Jets talks away his 14th goal of the season. And then the Canadians once again find themselves playing a game of catchup. Oh, great. Now they got to find a way to beat this greedy little one more time. Well, believe it or not, after a couple of solid shifts, they managed to get the job done. A thanks to some hard work by Ivan Demidob. Look at this. He’s going to out muscle his guy. That’s Josh Morrisy in the corner. He sets up Oliver Kaan, making this a two game. And it’s goal number eight for him. He almost gets another one. and he almost gets goal number nine right before the second period comes to an end. But it all comes down to this. It all comes down to the third period. He just knew with the way that these two goenders have been playing, the Knicks goal is probably going to be enough to do it. It’s probably going to be enough to win the game. Two of these teams, they give it all they got in regulation. Colonoscopy Cfield gets a couple of nice looks, but Comry, he stops him not once, but two times, which means this game is going into overtime with the stingy goalending. It continues. My god, I even I even had nightmares about Camry when I hit the sheets last night. Dolby deserves a lot of credit as well. Okay, this was a great game from him. Nobody could score in overtime. So, off to the shootout skills competition we go. Colinator comes in. He’s going to open up Eric Camry five hole. Gets him open up. He’s about 7 cm dilated here. Camry didn’t even he didn’t even know he was pregnant. Which means now all we need is for Yakob Davish to just shut the door. And guess what? He gets the job done and he’s he’s pretty happy about it. The Habs go on to win this game by a score of three-2. It was a big one. Okay, they needed it for their confidence. And with two extra points, the Habs now move back up to second place in the division again. They got 14 wins, nine regulation losses, and three overtime losses. Not going to lie, Dolby, he does give me a little bit of hope sometimes. All right. It’s nice seeing him get a get a big bounceback game like that last night. I hope they go right back with them again against Toronto on Saturday cuz I don’t know about you, but I’ve been just getting sick and tired of shuffling goalies around after they put up wins. It’s just it hasn’t been working. But now I want to talk about a couple of standouts from last night’s game. And I’m going to start off with a guy that’s been arguably the best player on this Canadians roster over the past couple of weeks. It’s your Slavowski. He’s now on pace for 28 goals this season, which would be a a huge accomplishment for him. Lately, I’ve been noticing that he’s been using his size more often. He’s been he’s been like a dog in a dollar store every time he gets in the ozone, which I think is great. There’s a lot of people out there that tend to forget that he’s still just a pup. He’s 21 years old right now. And these big guys, they sometimes take quite a bit of time to develop. And let me tell you something, it’s only the tip of the iceberg for your eyes. He’s going to be a beauty. I noticed I think he I think he might have a cold or he might be sick. He definitely didn’t look himself last night, but he stayed in the lineup. The man’s a tank and he scored a big goal against Camry, who was a stingy bastard last night. So, it’s nice to see him have a have a monster game like that. Now, next up, I want to talk about a guy that’s even younger than Slapovsky. It’s 19-year-old Ivan Demidav, who’s finally been given some more ice time. And personally, I think he should have been getting 20 minutes a game weeks ago. Come on. He just continues to dominate whenever he’s on the ice. He’s got 20 points right now in 26 games. He’s tied for he’s tied for the league lead amongst rookies in points. But if that ice time keeps going up and he continues to build some confidence, I think eventually he’s going to start to run away with this thing. He’s going to run away with this race. That doesn’t necessarily mean that I think he’s going to win the collar, but all I’m going to say is Schaefer should have some pretty decent competition. But that’s going to do it for today’s video. Please, for the love of God, let this be something to build off of. Hopefully, they absolutely destroy the Leafs on Saturday night. I mean, that would be great. You can go ahead and let me know your thoughts down in the comments section. For those of you that are interested, there’s going to be an NHL gone wild video that’s about to come out tomorrow. Please don’t forget to bang ding out that like button before you leave here. And hey, see you next time.
OK Guys, it’s time to take a look at the game last night between the Montreal Canadiens and the Winnipeg Jets! The Habs won this game in a shootout, with Cole Caufield and Jakub Dobes being the heroes. However, there needs to be a conversation about Juraj Slafkovsky right now.. Because this young man has taken his game to a whole new level this season!

In case you didn't see Slaf's post game, he chirps Dobes for not crying after the game.. might be some useful footage there for the channel. Lol love Slaf.. what a dick.
Dude I love your videos I watch every single one
But can you clip things a bit slower like itโs hard to follow
"Bang Ding Ow that like button" that's a hell of a reference lol
Amber alert stache!!! ๐๐๐
We can bring markov back for 10 games right, lol
I must say, the Ducks didn't miss with Sennecke like I thought they did at the time. Not sure what Cayden Lindstrom is up to these days though
Dobes is their secret weapon
Goalies need to stay in rhythm.
Slaf is becoming a f'n beast with Demidov. I like it.
I'm not sure which was funnier, the Eric Cartman joke or Shitfly's Amber Alert moustache. ๐
Slaf played his best game of the year IDC about the points I look at the player and how he thinks on the ice.He still made stupid passes like the one that ended up a turnover and a goal and those rinkwide passes he likes to make that never accomplish anything but overall his best game yet.
Texier hustled well Arber played solid Caufield stopped skating on the back check goal where Matheson went over to help Dobson. No Caufield wouldn't make it back in time but that pass had not yet developed and he stopped skating.
OT was very exciting in spite of all 3 small guys falling down at one point Caufield/Suzuki and Hutson.Suzuki's was the worst he looked like a ninety year old trying to get back up.The shootout was sad as usual low scoring IQ except Caufield who has the highest scoring IQ in the NHL.
Slaf is having a breakthrough season and so was newhook ๐ข
7 cm dilated ..almost PWHL material ๐คฃ๐คฃ
"Amber Alert Lookin' Mustache"… ๐
There are people saying Arber's scrap was a draw. I think they are blind.
I'll never forget the people that had premade Shane Wright jerseys lmao
I would prefer they play hockey instead of the game of ketchup!
Slaf is definitely a pillar to the team
2:02 thankfully you showed the best highlight of the game
Itโs almost like big wingers take longer to develop, people were so quick to hate on the pick, call Slaf a bust itโs insane haha, I love the way the Slovak king is playing second half Slaf came early this year ๐ฅ๐ฅ
So wishing him the bestโฆ SlafKERE ๐ธ๐ฐ
2 other young guys that played great in that game were Hutson and Kapanen. Both playing great at both ends of the ice.
Slavy is unleashing himself!! Love to see the big kid playing!
Dobes is our number 1 and that's it from now on! We got a BIG W! Suzuki needs to be on Team Canada!
What about all the broken sticks? Itโs too much. Canโt they give up a bit of flex of the stick (and consequently maybe a bit of power) for durability? Itโs an epidemic how often the sticks break! Please explain this one to me.
If anybody runs into Matheson tell him to switch his sticks he broke three of them last night. He breaks more sticks than a 40 year old angry brothel Madame.
If Demi doesn't win the Calder, I'll be as broken as a Mike Matheson stick.
Sportsnet did Markov so dirty, how dare the skip his ceremony???
I'm sure Marty would give 10 games to Markov
Being slovak, Slaf is like the Last Mohican for us.
From having loads of top nhl players, now he and Nemo are the last standing ones :sad cry emoji:
Quit smoking crack ๐๐๐
Slaf is the ๐ฉ ๐. !!!
Slav definitely starting to stand out ๐ฅ
Damn Junkie, don't Tkachuk me that early in the video!
I've been reading a lot about this Xack Bolduc situation.
MSL puts him on the 1st line, and he has 5 pts in 2 games. SLAF got put with Demidov and Kapanene, and everyone said he played fantastic with them. Had more responsibility than he does on the first line and did the most of it. If I had known about this lineup change in advance, I'd have had nightmares about breaking up the 1st line. But it seemed to work out great. "Seemed"
Now, all of a sudden, Bolduc is in MSL's shit house and got a measly 8 MINUTES of ice time vs WIN. WTF is up with that? Did he have THAT bad of a game vs OTT compared to everyone else on the roster? Looking at the game stats, it didn't seem so, but granted, I didn't watch the whole thing.
Does anyone have any insight into what NSL is doing with BOLDUC? And what Texier is doing on the 2nd line all of a sudden?
Demidov is a hell of a player, but holy timbits has Slaf been puttin' up the points and makin' his presence known! Good on him!
