Cleveland coming into this one 13-10 on the year, 7 and 16 against the number this season, losing four of their last five after a 122 110 loss at home to Portland in their last matchup. San Antonio comes in 15-6 on the year, 128-1 against the number this season after a 114112 win in Orlando as eight-point dogs. Now they’re back on the road again for you know the second game of this four game road trip. And you know, this is a San Antonio team that, you know, early on this year wasn’t a team that I was going out of my way to back when they were missing. You know, Victor Webyama and you know, Stefan Castle and, you know, they were just, you know, having trouble keeping guys healthy and in the lineup. You know, Harrison Ingram was is out for this game. You know, Jakor, sorry, Jordan McLaclin’s out for this game. So, you do have Luke Cornet listed as questionable, but again, the big players for for San Antonio, you know, WBY and Stefon Castle out for this game. Now you do have guys like De’aran Fox that are picking up the slack in their absence. Devin Vel has been having, you know, himself some games and I still think that this is a San Antonio team once, you know, WBY and Stfan Castle get back are going to be a force. They’re going to be a really solid team in the Western Conference. Now, they do take on a Cleveland team that still, you know, is regarded as one of the better teams in the NBA and maybe aren’t the same team that went, you know, ran rough shot through the NBA through the first, you know, or actually I shouldn’t say through the first part, through the majority of last season, but they are still good at home. So, they’re eight and five at home, but, you know, we’ve started to see them take some losses at home as well. You know, teams like Houston, Boston, Portland have been coming in and uh and getting the job done. And that’s what the Cleveland Cavaliers, you know, as favorites against teams like Boston and Portland. They were slight underdogs against Houston. But now you got San Antonio coming to town playing some really solid basketball. And, you know, they’ve won three of their last five games in these, you know, little road trips that they’ve been on. They’ve been covering games left and right. I think the value here is with the San Antonio Spurs and the points. I’m just not in a position where I feel like laying, you know, any sort of points right now with the Cleveland Cavaliers. You know, the Cavs will still have Donovan Mitchell for this game, but you know, Jared Allen’s out. You know, Darius Garland’s, you know, listed as out. Sam Merrill, Larry Nance. You know, obviously, we’re still dealing with the injury to Max Struce. So, I I just think this is a tricky spot for Cleveland. I think that San Antonio is live in this game.
