  6. I was so going to wear my Kane FAP today. Then they choked it away. Not today friend. Not today.

  8. You think its a good look for the league when a team can play like this and make the playoffs? 

  9. The good:
    – Conventional wisdom says that you need to get 50% of the points on a road trip.  
    – We currently have 50% of the points on this road trip.  

    The bad:
    – The goaltending wasn’t stellar last night.
    – We couldn’t finish on *so many high danger chances.*

    The ugly:
    – The team defense.  Sweet fucking hell, the team defense continues to be abysmal – casual, brain-dead, unnecessarily risky – we’ve got it all.  
    – With all of the fancy tools at their disposal, it is somewhat shocking to see the team make similar mistakes over and over.

    Getting ready to watch the media with my coffee and gear what Todd has to say this time.  Waiting for the day when he just says SSDD and walks away.  

  10. Priority Trash forcing their way onto our winter taxes is about as garbage as the patch and organzion in general. I live In waterford and they added a $200 charge to our taxes right before x-mas. Get F**KED priority.

  11. Do people really think we are suppose to blow out every opponent? Games will be close that’s just how it is. Be glad we even got a point and move on to the next one. A lot of games yet to come and many of you might not make it at this rate. All teams make mistakes but ours are made more obvious because these goalies suck and cant bail them out of anything.

  12. We’ve got 3 out of 4 points vs Boston and 1 vs Columbus in the last 3 games for a total of 4 points, 3 vs a division rival. The games may not have looked good but that is a good outcome. Let’s beat a wavering Seattle team and then farm some of the worst team in the west for some points and guess what, they are back in likely 2:nd in the division with hopefully a 6 game pointstreak.

  15. ive seen people argue that we can’t call up Cossa because our defense is so bad it would murder his confidence in net. i am assuming this is true, the organization knows it, and Cossa will be our starter as soon as this quinn hughes trade goes though

  18. Didn’t watch the game last night, but I understand that it was bad? Or are people freaking out over nothing?

  20. Anyone catch what ASP TOI was for the third? He ended the game at ~13 minutes and I felt like I didn’t see much of him in the third after a bad play.

  21. Was Compher paired with Cat and Copp with Kane for a couple shifts in OT last night or did my eyes deceive me?

  23. 5 teams in the division on pace for 90ish points, Tampa only on pace for 103. I think the trade market is going to heat up sooner rather than later. Teams in the east need to find an edge to get out of “midville.” Curious to see what organizations take a swing before the roster freeze this year.

  24. According to moneypuck, we’re currently 5th in the league in xG% and 4th in xGF/60. We’re one of the most effective teams in the league at generating scoring chances and currently the 2nd worst in the league at converting them. We’re first in the whole league in high danger scoring chances.

    It’s *remarkable* how dramatically different that is from all of the Wings teams in the last 10 years.
