Visiting Pirates fan here!
During the offseason, I'm creating a graph like this for every MLB team. It tracks each franchise's cumulative record relative to .500 (equal wins and losses) throughout their entire history.
The annotations show the franchise's all-time peak, lowest point, and most recent time at exactly .500.
If we only take the Atlanta part of the graph, the record is 4926-4547 (+380)
The complete album can be seen here. I also made the NFL and NHL charts (before the current season).

This is really cool. Looking forward to seeing the rest.
Boy, that Falcons one. Woof.
Crazy that they averaged 12 games under .500 for 88 years between 1903 and 1988. Then the slope in the 90’s and 00’s is bananas
Hmm… Like the graph, but shouldn’t it be modern era only, i.e. 1900 forward?
I like the nice winning streak in Milwaukee that I never realize
What I’m seeing from the Jaguars graph is the newer logo is the problem.
I love graphics like this. Cool stuff.
