The Timberwolves FAILED Rob Dillingham

The Rob Dillingham experience in Minnesota has been nothing short of a disappointment. The expectations were high for Rob, who the Timberwolves traded a first round pick and a swap to draft at number eight. This move has aged terribly. Two years in the league and he’s played just 10 minutes a night in both seasons. The coaching staff has no trust in him. He doesn’t have the size to finish against bigger NBA defenders. His playmaking comes and goes, and the shooting has definitely been lacking. Point guard is Minnesota’s biggest weakness, and Rob has yet to become a starter as a former top 10 pick. In win now mode with Anthony Edwards, the Timberwolves will probably be moving on from Rob Dillingham before his rookie contract even expires.

  1. I like how the video is titled how the Timberwolves failed him yet anyone who watches the wolves knows Rob has been disappointing when he’s played this season. Highly undersized and he hasn’t scored or made plays well all season

  2. He is doing fine, what do folks expect, he is a long term investment like Joan Beringer was this draft. He’s not even 21 yet, and they knew he was gonna take time. He’s wants on the court faster than the team does. His turn over to assist ratio keeps improving and he hasn’t shot a lot in the regular season.

The skill and talent is still there, people are just so hell bent on expecting every young draft pick to be epic like Edward’s.

News Flash Edward’s is rarified air like KG was and making waves before their 24. That and point guard takes the longest to adjust from college to the pros.
