We are keeping everyone in it by letting them go to overtime.
We did earn at least a point in 9 out of 11 games which is good, but we allowed them collectively at least a point in 9 out of 11 as well.
Crazy that bottom of the metro is still middle of the league.
Jackets would be 4th in the Central, tied for 3rd in the Pacific, and Tied for 3rd in the Atlantic. Entire Metro popping off right now.
I feel like it’s a logjam every year and the only question is whether CBJ is in the mix or not. It’s a good bunch of teams to measure yourself against but it sure makes it difficult to raise your profile in the league. If/when they ever do, they will have earned the recognition for sure.
This is why blowing all these third period leads has been so irritating. Everyone else is good and I hate it!
Has our strength of schedule felt like a crazy gauntlet or is it that everybody’s schedule is also tough because there just aren’t that many horrible teams this year?
Like a 3 game winning streak has us near the top of this so just avoid standings watching at the moment imo.
We would be 4th right now in any of the other divisions….. sometimes I hate this division lol
lol after every Blue Jackets win, I take a look at the metro and see that almost every metro team wins as well. Wild.
It’s not the wins that are keeping us in the cellar. It’s all the blown games and points. It’s a miracle we’re still somewhat in things given how shitty we play at times. Penalties, blown leads, etc.

I just want them to keep winning. All they can do. The rest will shake out.
7 of the top 13 teams in the league are in the Metro. That is pretty crazy.

What the hell is the East this year
The mantra of “in a playoff spot by Thanksgiving” won’t hold much water this year since 90% of the damn conference is within 1-2 pts of the wildcard.
