This is a keen observation to notice that Daniel Jones isn’t the exact same entity as some other QBs. He was pretty sneaky, but it’s good to know he isn’t a skinwalker.

I think in the world of quarterbacks he’s well above average. He’s not gonna be the elites of the position by any means, but his accuracy, IQ, and solid athleticism (when healthy) give him legitimate upside. He’s not a guy that’s gonna carry you to the Super Bowl but can definitely take you far if the offense and him are clicking. Most QBs in the league are not the Mahomes/Allen/Jackson/Burrow/Herbert tier.
He’s a guy that does just enough. He is not someone to depend on in crunch time when the QB is expected to go above and beyond.
He’s also not Anthony Richardson, and that’s a good thing.
