Washington's 45-point loss to Boston is the largest margin of defeat by any team in the NBA this year.

Brian Keefe called last night a "step back." Last night unfortunately looked similar to more than a few this year.

  1. Looks at some of the lineups that were played and tell me were there was to step?

They closed the 3rd quarter with Bub, Riley, Whitmore, Kyshawn, Champagnie…

  2. They are one of the worst teams of all time, this won’t be the last time they get smashed this season. It is what it is, this is what everyone signed up for.

  3. Coaching seems to be the issue IMO, whitmore still wont pass to the open player, the same with CJ, Bub( i love the guy) is getting to much leeway. Nobody that isn’t hurt is willing to play defense. Champagnie does not get enough burn.

  4. I haven’t been in the anti-Keefe camp, but a lot of these deficits seem to balloon due to a lack of grit and attention…

  5. The bball IQ overall on the floor is deficient IMO. The plays they run are simplistic probably because of that. Hustling and corner threes can only go so far. JC and WR are the only guys that seem to truly hustle. CJ is the only guy on the floor with clearly high bball IQ and hes able to get his off because of this. Everyone else, including Middleton, make bonehead plays repeatedly. The bad basketball just compounds due to this.

Throw in a coach that clearly cannot get these guys to do anything with consistency, and here we are.

I think WR has more potential than both Bub and Key to be honest. Im hoping to see him takeover as the primary ballhandler later in the season to see what we might have there.

  6. This year has been a complete waste. I pray to God we get a top 3 pick because if we don’t idk how you sell another year of this.

  7. Out of every Celtic who scored in that game, the highest draft pick was Anfernee Simons at 24th.
