Are the Vegas Golden Knights HIDING Goalie Injury SECRETS After Early Morning Roster Shuffle?

VGK is bringing at least some heat to the chilly New York metro stop on this road trip. Winners of two straight before departing to the Arctic Cold. First stop, The Rock in Newark, where the Devils have dropped three straight, prompting head coach Sheldon Keefe to declare his team essentially lifeless. And you can now catch us each and every day. Don’t forget on the Silver State Sports and Entertainment Network, tune in at 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday on SSSEN. You could find us on YouTube TV or on Cox Cable channel 77. We start off WTF day with a WTF. Yesper Vikman at 5:00 a.m. Thanks for keeping tabs on this. Chris is called up by the Golden Knights. So, what is up with the goalie situation? Five 5 a.m. news dump. This is a new one even for VGK. Um, all right. So, let’s start checking some boxes right now. Uh, this is not an insurance situation, I don’t believe. Number one, maybe there’s a tweak in in the practice yesterday and this is a just in case. Small possibility. Okay, fine. This is not going to be a salary cap situation where they’re just doing something on paper, bring them up and send them down. That’s definitely not the case. Fleekman’s not coming up to spell a goalender who’s struggling or anything like that. We know it’s not that. So, all that’s left are injury situations. Yes. Carter Hart’s the last Golden Knight Net Minder to play a game and he had a long game between overtime and a shootout. Maybe something happened. Maybe something happened with Akira. Akira Tony, there you go. That was for you. Maybe something happened with Schmid that we are not aware of. But this is something. It is noteworthy. This is not a non-starter. Something is up in BGK land again with the goalenders. With all of the controversy surrounding Carter Hart, do you think perhaps they’re leaving him back in Vegas? No. No. I mean, it’s a it’s a question we have to pose. It’s a fair question. And I got something interesting, too, um, regarding regarding the attendance for tonight, but I don’t think there’s an issue. And I think if they were concerned about any issues with fans or anything like that and if let’s just say uh Hart was not scheduled to start today, leave him in the locker room while the while the game’s going. He can watch the game there. If he has to come out, he can come out there. But I think that’s also the worst idea. But I don’t think that’s what it is. But maybe there is a small chance. I just can’t see a Golden Knight spending $2 million on a player they can only play for home games or or not in Canada. But so real faster, I came across this on Twitter. The account is uh Steph speaks sports actually amazed at the number of Devils fans boycotting the game tomorrow. This tweet was sent on Thursday. At first I’m like yeah whatever. This this is meaningless. So let’s do some research here for a second. Number one I went on ticket master. That’s the primary source for devil’s tickets. There is easily if you look at today’s game I would say conservatively 25 to 3500 open seats out there. So, it’s called 3,000 open seats right now. What I don’t know is if Glad Devils fans buy tickets late before the game, but this is not what the graph looks like on Access for the Vegas Golden Knights. So, next question. What does the attendance look like? The average attendance for the Devils, 16,234. They play in an arena with a hockey occupancy of 16,514. So, they’re averaging 98.3% of their seats occupied. 3,000 seats open uh 9 10 12 hours before the game is about to start feels a bit heavy. So maybe there is some Carter Hart effect going and Devils fans are simply not going to show up. Yeah, it could be that. It could also be the cold. It is bitter cold back there in New Jersey in the tri-state area. It’s bitter cold every every winter in there. Bunch of babies if that’s stopping them. Would you go out if it’s in the teens? I wouldn’t move to Jersey in the first place. Tony, next question. Ouch. Would you go out in the cold if there’s 40 mph winds and the temperatures are in the teens? No way. I’m originally from Chicago, the Chicago land area, dude. I’ve done it every winter. I’m from New York and I still wouldn’t go well, I wouldn’t go downtown. Uh, in any event, while the Devils are essentially lifeless, as we mentioned at the top, apparently the Golden Knights are essentially full of life now, right? Okay. They defeated the Sharks and the Blackhawks. They closed out the home stand, but they did win games while not playing their game. not playing the best hockey. We can say that. And they did not let four points slip away like they’ve done previously. And the Devils, Chris, a team that is banged up and could be in the trademark sooner than later. Yeah, I saw Jack Hughes is out. That’s unfortunate. You have a third line. You remember what he did? You know what happened, right? The team the team dinner and somehow he sliced up his hand and had to undergo surgery. Now he’s pulling a Carlson by hanging out and a lot of Instagram photos, but he’s got Tate McCrae. He’s got Tate McCrae and he’s hanging out with her. Oh, that was the picture when he had his hand in his sling and all that. So, all I can see is is Jack Hughes having a few too many drinks with the with the team or something like that. You ever see that move that scene from the movie in Abyss where like they hold the person’s hand down with a knife and they between the fingers? That’s what I think happened right there. So, but listen. No, I don’t think you got a third line anchored by Cody Glass and Paul Carter. Paul Carter is doing Paul Carter things, which is basically not playing defense right now. Carter’s a minus 10. I think the next lowest New Jersey Devil in the plus minus department’s a minus five or something like that. So, the third line is where the Golden Knights need to take advantage. We know Cody Glass is uh well, Cody Glass is who he is. He just could never cut it here in Vegas. And um he’s found a home in New Jersey. It’s probably his fourth team that he’s been on since he has uh been in the NHL. Cody Glass’s stats this year. I got to keep scrolling. Four goals, no assists. Uh he is zero in the plus minus department, so at least he’s playing a responsible game. We told you about the Metro Division yesterday. No one wants to seize control. We talked about Jack. He’s out splitting his finger open at a team dinner. Brett Peshy is out. They’re also missing Zack Mchuan. If Genny Donovan is out, saw that and Jonathan Kovase is out and use is so important uh when he’s not dining with Tate McCrae. We’re so jealous. Uh the Devils are four and six without him after that hot start, one in which they saw an eightgame win streak. Devils if they can stay healthy could be a very they could be if they could be a cup contender if they can stay healthy and so we were expecting at u you know press time here that we would have the homecoming of Akira Akira Schmid but we’re not quite sure. Two years ago you may recall Schmid beat the Rangers in game seven four to nothing. The Devils won the opening round playoff series. Yes, I’m still bitter. But Schmid overall 92 and four and this would be game number 16 if we do see Akira Akira and his high was 19 games with the Devils two years ago. And so I hate to say this and use maybe one of your terms, but oh boy, it’s almost unchartered territory for for Kira Schmidt. There’s no such thing in in VGK land as uncharted territory when it comes to VGK goalending, Tony. All right, there’s two things we learned about about uh about random. A cat just hit my door. Um two random things we learned this morning. One, I’m never moving to New Jersey. And number two, there’s no such thing as uncharted territory in VGK goalie land. So, you know, that’s uh it’s just I’m just amazed at waking up at 5:00 a.m. and seeing this. And it’s just so strange trying to figure out exactly who went. You know, there was a practice yesterday. Number one, I’m assuming there was some local New Jersey media there. I will assume that if there was no Carter Hart on the ice or a Kira Schmid that this news would have, you know, come out and hey, what’s going on here? So, you know, we’re operating off of a lot of assumptions right now and that’s all we have at the moment. It could be nothing. It could simply be. Well, we can speculate, but I I trust No, could be a hang. They woke up. I trust your gut. I I definitely trust your gut instinct, right? Cuz Oh, something’s always up with the VK goalies. That’s my gut instinct. Something’s always up in BK land with the goalies. 100%. Okay. And uh perhaps again, they did ride Carter Hart very hard in the opening game. We talked about it yesterday and could be something there. Um we’ll have to see. But it’s real interesting to wake up to the 5:00 a.m. news dump in VGK land. It definitely is. And I don’t see like like I mean looking at comments, I don’t see anyone commenting with anything that seems to make sense about any of this. So that’s neither here nor there at the moment here. And a lot of people asking the same questions here. And then as far as like who’s retweeting it and stuff, I mean, no one knows. No one knows. But maybe practice skate this morning. No one’s awake in Vegas. Come on, media people. Coming up next, we preview Saturday night’s game against the Rangers in New York City. Comes your way next right here on this WT. I do like it out there. I do like Atlantic City. Okay. But 2010, 2012, 2013, something like that. My boss sends me to Atlantic City to assist in opening a new poker room uh with the back when I was with Cedars Entertainments, they were consolidating poker rooms, opening one mega poker room. So, my job was to go out there and just kind of, you know, this how we do it in Vegas. this is the right way, you know, kind of that sort of thing here. And it was early February and my boss had come out to my boss is also from Chicago, so we got that going for us. And we see there’s a noraster coming through. So, what do we do? Put our hoodies on. We are on the beach at like 8 or 9:00 walking a few feet from the water while snow is coming down in the middle of a noraster in Atlantic City. So, that uh that that was uh that was fun. It’s a good thing you went to the beach headed east and not behind all those casinos on the west. The one thing you learn about Atlantic City is avoid the streets that are named that have that share the thing the the Monopoly uh property. Avoid those streets. Okay. Uh so, oh, good news. This weekend, both of the faceoff times are at 400 p.m. Let’s go. Las Vegas time. That’s good news. Uh talk about the Rangers game. So, the Rangers with 11 road wins and just three wins at home. my New York Rangers at 38 and two. And to make matters worse now for the Rangers, they’re missing defenseman Adam Fox. He’s out with a left shoulder injury and he is key, especially on the power play. And so they’ve moved now Braden Schneider on the top pairing with Vlad Gaver. So they’re trying it. Not an easy guy to replace. Who would you say is not an easy guy to replace for the Golden Knights? Just Jasper Vikman. Um Jasper Vikman is definitely not not an easy guy to report. Oh, I mean Jack Eel. I mean, this is Yeah, probably Eel, right? I mean, besides Eel, I guess, uh you know, this is where the unsung unsung hero category starts. Braden McNab is nearly impossible to replace. Um you’re saying on defense? I’m just saying in general, this is a general perspective. Yeah, general perspective. Yeah. No, guys are incredibly tough to replace. That’s fair. Um and Fox too with scoring and again on the power play he’s really strong but he’s second in scoring to our Tammy or Tammy Paneran the bread the there’s the glue guy and there’s the bread guy and uh has 26 points um before he was injured. So they’re going to have to see what they can do there. Uh, I just was thinking reflecting back to that first meeting, right? And the play that stood out, of course, lifelong Rangers fan here. Remember JT Miller’s lazy play? He gave up the puck. Oh, I got such a good chirp here in a second for you. Okay. Pavle Dorfy, who then fed it to the one and only a guy that you can’t live without, Ben Hutton, who scored that goal, I think, right? Another glue guy. Uh Miller had one other gaff recently and uh he just did it this past week um against the Stars. It led to a Mo Rantin uh goal. And the thing about JT Miller is he’s out to lunch sometime. So I don’t know. It was remember that play? It was so bizarre because he gave up the puck and he’s like, “Okay, I’m out of here.” Like I’m going to the bar. New York, New York or whatever. Like he just was gone. He just disappeared. So, we were um having one of our tournament games two weekends ago and Spanella, I’m calling you out, Spanella. Spanella wasn’t moving his feet at all in the defensive side. Not Spanella. And we were we were doing well. We were doing our team was doing well that game. So, I was having a little fun on the bench with the players, too. So, I yelled pretty loud in my coach’s voice, “Spanella, move your feet. You look like JT Miller out there.” And the ref is right in front of me. The ref just loses it. The ref just lost it right there. It was so good. And like I’m glad one other person got it cuz I knew none of the players knew I was getting it right there. But I mean Rangers, listen interesting situation. Um the Golden Knights certainly found a way to solve Sherkin. Um I’m not sure what the rotation situation is, but is there a world that exists where Jonathan Quick makes his seventh or eighth appearance of the season who has a 944 save percentage very nicely complimenting Shasherkin and his 9 uh 912 912 save percentage. So getting good goalending in New York, getting good road victories in New York. And it’s odd that home is where the concern is, especially when you play in one of the most, if not the most famous uh stadiums certainly in North America and one of the most famous barns in the entire world. So not sure why the Rangers can’t figure it out. Not sure why JT Miller is lazy and not sure uh not sure what’s up with your Rangers. I mean, are they just going to sell the farm and uh and move on and you know like like Lafrenier certainly isn’t uh turning into the player they needed him to be. JT Miller that looks like that’s going to be a a regret. Paneran Zabanad. I’m sure their contracts are coming up soon. This is Miko would much rather be Tony. Yeah, Mo would much rather be DJing somewhere. Um I said 11 wins on the road. It’s 12. I forgot to count the Ottawa game the other night. they won and in that game the defenseman did step up because I think they got a pair of goals from defenseman in that game and so they’re on a heater now like they beat Dallas right they shut them out I think three to nothing was that the score and then of course they went to Ottawa and they got the W there so uh they’re playing decent hockey they come back home they have to sooner or later settle but that division we talked about it yesterday how many points separated first to last. Was it five points? Five, six, six, seven. I don’t know. Not a lot. 67. No, seriously. I mean, they’re it’s a it’s a No, it’s tight. Um, looks like the Rangers will be on a backto back against the Golden Knights on on Sunday. Rangers have Colorado the night before. Colorado. They might have lost in regulation finally. So, there is a God, I guess. So that that proves that the that the Avalanche are somewhat uh it’s like when um when Rocky cut Ivan Drago in in Rocky 4 and you know he’s human so that’s a that’s a good thing. But um that will certainly give the Golden Knights a little bit of an edge against a team struggling mightily at home. So if this road trip can start with let’s say three points between these next two games that’d be a real real good start. Of concern to me before VGK goes out on this road trip. They gave up a lot of oddman rushes, right, the last game, last couple of games at home. So, uh, defensively, they’re going to have to clamp down. It’s this Cassidy system. I mean, this is a a conversation we’ve had on and off. There’s no new system. Well, there Well, that’s the problem. I think there definitely is a change in the system because they want more shots. I mean, you you can’t have it all, Tony. You can’t have more shots. You can’t have the defense being more active without something being given up in return. There’s a give and take in every strategy that you invoke in a hockey game. At the youth level and at the adult level and at the NHL level, it doesn’t matter. And when the Golden Knights are generating more shots, more high dangers, that usually means something’s going to happen on the other side here. And this Golden Knights team, their Stanley Cup is based off of good transitional play, limiting the other team’s oddman rushes and breakaway situations. That’s not what been happening. And the Golden Knights played two had two cookie games essentially. The Sharks are better than a cookie, but they’re not really. And the Chicago Blackhawks and the Golden Knights almost didn’t get beat the Kings for crying out loud on their back to back. Jackal and hide, Tony. Coming up next, I’m emptying the chamber today. I’m getting everything out. Next, it’s that time of the week again. It’s WTF time and Chris is already raring to go. We’ll get to it next right here on Lockdown Golden Nights. Welcome back on this edition of Lockdown Golden Nights. You joined us late, the 500 a.m. news dump. I say that because we’re on TV, of course, if you’re listening, right? It goes right to the start and hear the whole show, but we’re on TV each and every day on SSEN. Uh, best of luck going out. Good luck to the alma mater on Friday. They play against Boise State for a third year in a row. Pick them, right? Pick them. Isn’t it champion championship? Uh Boise State now a minus five favorite at home. Speak about cold and blustery and what have you. It is it be pretty nasty on that stinking blue turf in Boise. People like you going to the game. No. No. I’m not getting paid to go there. Number one. It’s Oh, it’s WTF day. That’s right. Not getting paid to go there. And I’m definitely not going out in the stinking cold. All right. What was in New Jersey? I am going to start off with a serious WTF. So, I heard this and I almost ran off the road the other night when the VGK radio team said Carter Hart is quote a great fit with the Golden Knights because he’s a misfit and all the original members were misfits with issues prior to playing in Las Vegas. Oh, you’re cringing. I see you there. You’re cringing. And that’s exactly what I did. What kind You got to be kidding me. What kind of a stinking narrative is that? That’s absolutely horrid. I think there’s a way you can present that without going over the edge. But keep going. That’s over the edge. Yes, I agree. That’s over the glass. It’s over the glass eating the nachos and doing whatever else you do. And the people in Summerland in downtown, beautiful downtown Summerland. Beautiful. in their glass office or glass houses have no idea what reality is. None. None. None. And after the game, ESPN and Steve Levy, I’ll go one step further. They were way soft on Carter Hart. I He thanked his family. I Hey, this is a comeback story for the ages according to everyone out there. He thanked his family. He said he worked hard to get back. That’s great. But we need to for we cannot forget that there was a victim in this case. We cannot forget that. So please please stop putting Carter hard on a pedestal and that’s all WTF. I came out firing. We only got three and a half minutes. I’d keep going there, but I’m just going to move forward. Um, but I’m going to go along lines with Carter Hart here. So I put a tweet up pregame on Tuesday. Didn’t see any protest outside. Didn’t see any negative signs on the glass. Hart will likely and did get massive cheers when they announced him. Most of the noise is from outside the organization. It’s been a long road and then I wish Carter Hart good luck. I thought he’s done a good job getting himself back to this current situation. And where I’m going with this is the venom that comes out and number one, it proved my point. Most of the noise is from outside the organization. There are some people that are upset and that’s fine. Nothing wrong with that. But just the venom that comes out of social media from people and the words they say to each other, it’s just the society is just just hard to this is not how we talk to each other. No one would talk to each other like this face to face, let alone behind the keyboard, you know, flexing their their their pinky muscles and stuff like that. So WTF, we can all be a little bit better in our interactions. End of story right there. And then I’m going to get I want to make sure E runs gets his flowers here. WTF? the other day someone on state run said it’s not the how in line do they not know puck and then tagged tagged me so I thought that was pretty good start off I got tagged and then I want to get uh I want to get Maria Maria’s Corino I hope I said your name right Margarita I’m not sure it could be Margarita Maras I don’t know either way I if I’m getting your name wrong I’m sorry Marita’s carell I think I got it right I like margaritas so that’s why I just it sounded like margaritas okay I like the sticker I’m an everyday by the way I listen on the way to work and finish listening at work if need be. Let’s go. Burn earning the paycheck right there. Future K fans, that’s day one. And I will go ahead and save the rest for tomorrow. Let’s give her the Let’s give her the stickers. So, make sure that we DM. Yeah. So, Marie does do me a favor. DM me on on on Twitter. Let me get that address. We’ll get you a sticker. Yes. And of course, gets stickers. Gets hot dogs for me. Okay. And we got a question and hopefully you have time to answer this. Oh, god. Yeah. Go ahead. Question. Not comment from Seth Bales. Yep. From Bale’s law group. The Bedard shootout goal was obviously awesome, but rule says that the puck must be moving forward and he pulled it back on the deak. So, one, should it have counted? And two, is that a challengeable play? So, there’s no not going to be a challenge in a shootout. Number one, and number one, your feet have to keep going forward. Wait, wait, wait. Why no challenge in a shootout? You There’s no challenge. It’s automatic reviews at that point. Everything’s out. You’re not going to get a delay game penalty on the other team at that moment right there. So, I I got the I’m watching it over and over here. And that last move, his feet are going forward and the puck is going backwards. Um, if I can do this in the next 10 seconds, I will look for the NHL penalty. You got the rule book rules. You got the rule book. Um, blah blah blah. Puck must be kept in continuous motion toward the goal line. So the deak is an interesting question and I’ve not seen a lot of people talk about it but the word is puck continuous motion. Okay forward. We got to go. So uh make sure that you do if we mention your names for Chris Golick, Tony Kasco from Las Vegas. We appreciate everyone back again on Monday if not sooner or something else breaks on Lockdown Golden Knights.

  1. Read the testimony!!!
There was NO "Victim", unless you mean Cater who had nearly three years of his very promising career taken away from him.
You won't like it, it's distasteful, but to quote the testimony –
She was nude, sitting on a spread out sheet, in the middle of the room, masterbating, saying: "Is somebody going to F me!? I might as well leave if no one is going to F me…"
